Had a farewell brunch here for a friend who was moving to another planet (AKA Long Island). The food was....adequate, though to be fair, I only got the Caesar Salad with crispy chicken. I did appreciate that our server gave us a complimentary plate of Truffle Home Fries because she felt she had misrepresented how big one portion was. Maybe dinner's better? Or maybe this place is more hype than substance.

I really wanted to like this place, but it just lacked that spark. We came in for brunch on a cold weekend and left feeling a bit underwhelmed. We started with the cauliflower bites (Asian BBQ style), which unfortunately came drenched in so much sauce they were more soggy than crispy--you can probably tell from the photos. For mains, we ordered three different sandwiches. I had the veggie burger, and honestly, I didn't even finish it despite being hungry--it just didn't hit the mark. My son enjoyed his short rib grilled cheese, so that was a plus. My husband had the chicken sandwich and thought it was dry. And honestly, for a place charging $18-$20 per sandwich, serving it on what felt like basic Costco-style ciabatta bread just doesn't cut it. Service was okay--not bad, not great. I did like the interior--it had a cozy, old-inn kind of feel. Overall, the experience was just... meh. Not terrible, but not compelling enough to bring me back.

Recently discovered this cute little place for brunch and I was so pleasantly surprised by it. The menu had a lot of interesting and innovative options on top of the classics. I tried the fish tacos and they were pretty good. I got a coffee cocktail that was also really nice. Quick service and good food, also right next to Hamilton Park makes for a nice brunch spot on a pleasant day.

This review is based off of delivery. My burger and fries were a little warm. The burger was flavorful but wish it was hot to fully enjoy. Not only were the fries warm and soggy but I felt like salt or seasonings were lacking. The portion sizes are good because I am now so full. Might have to go again and eat there while choosing a diff menu item to give a fair chance and rereview.

Hamilton Inn is always reliable, and I always enjoy the food! I ordered an Eggs benedict. The home fries are delicious - You can tell when a restaurant uses clean oil when cooking their food, and it definitely was evident from the home fries. Solid eggs benedict - Wished it was a bit more flavorful / seasoned, but that's certainly personal preference. Friend ordered the Lamb Burger - which was a 10/10! Hamilton Inn has a great Americano as well. Service was great - Our server was friendly, checked in frequently without us feeling rushed, and provided great recommendations! Hamilton Inn is always a reliable spot in DTJC

Sat outside with a friend and ordered the turkey burger. It was well seasoned and the side salad portion was generous. Great food and attentive service at a cute neighborhood spot!

Found this great spot leaving the city! Great quality food for brunch, (incredible bacon BTW)- real good Bloody Mary! Service at the bar was outstanding!

We sat at the bar on a Sunday afternoon and were served quickly. Awesome summer cocktail list. Our food came out within 10 mins of ordering and everything was delicious. The candied pecan salad was my favorite item with the Asian bbq crispy cauliflower wings second. Vibes are quiet and classy. Good place to catch up with friends or coworkers.

We moved to JC over a year ago - and this is the perfect neighborhood spot. Chill, quiet on the weeknights. The staff is so friendly and accommodating - and their drinks are really tops! We had the Inn Burger and even though they could have been juicier, the quaint serving and yummy fries made up for it. Def recommend this spot to couples on ransom date nights - and there's so many dishes we want to try!

Very poor brunch experience today. The French dip had very little meat and the fries were greasy and cold. The cod on the sandwich was cold. It tasted like it was precooked. Why serve cold fish and cold fries? Nothing was freshly made except the salad. So disappointing. The host was not friendly.

Great food great service Had an amazing meal everything was delicious! Crab cake taating like munching a crab, chicken wings crispy on the outside and tender inside and burger was actually very big and cooked perfectly

Very nice restaurant and bar. Started with a drink and some nachos for the table. I ordered an onion soup in an escargot dish. (No escargot??) Only complaint was we paid $15 for a dish with cheese and barely no soup. But it was delicious. Burger was fantastic, grilled cheese with short ribs was also amazing. Steak was great! Service was excellent.

A cozy, all-American style joint with a nice selection of food and drink. We came in during the happy hour and enjoyed the cocktail menu (would recommend the margarita). Everything on the menu is a win, specially the burrata pasta and the lamb burger and salmon. Decent vegetarian options (have nice apps like cauliflower bites), salad and pasta. Would recommend sitting at the bar and catching the happy hour! Prompt and attentive service!

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
