Mud Puppies is located on Highway 620 in a shopping strip mall. The front desk staff greeted me warm and friendly. I was immediately offered assistance and pointed to an assortment of dog toys. In fact, I did not know that there were so many dog toys. In fact, momentarily I was paralyzed with fear of making a decision. After exploring some possibilities, I decided to defer my decision until I looked at one more place. Mud puppies also offers Playcare, just like day care for children but for dogs in addition to pet grooming and boarding. The team works with each dog's unique personality. Based on my interactions with the staff, I would feel comfortable leaving a dog with them.

The owner, Julia is always quick to respond to my emails, which was super helpful when I was extremely busy trying to do literally five things at the same time. While our kitties were there, she sent us reports in text with photos of our kitties. It was really nice to know/see that our kitties were being taken care of. We looked at the same reports again and again since we missed our kitties so much. :) Julia seems to be very knowledgeable about cat behaviors and gave us good advice when we picked them up. Since everything went so smoothly, we actually came back again for cat daycare three days after the boarding. When we picked them up, it was before their pick-up/drop-off hours, but Julia was so nice and flexible; she let us pick them up early. Their website was easy to use. You can enter your pet's information into the system in advance uploading vaccination records and make reservations for day care/boarding. I would definitely recommend Second Home Boarding!!

We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. Look no further for a great place for "doggy day care", Pam and her team will take VERY GOOD care of them, like they were one of their own!!!

Paws Landing exceeded all my expectations from the moment we arrived. When we checked in, there was a personalized welcome message on a small board, which immediately made us feel at home. The clerk who greeted us was very professional and took the time to carefully note special considerations, while also ensuring that every item we brought for the stay was accounted for and returned to us. What truly warmed my heart was seeing my pups, Koda and Lexi, so excited to go in. At other facilities, they would always pull away, but this time they happily followed the staff without even looking back. The daily pictures and updates were such a special touch, and I looked forward to them every day. Seeing them playing, relaxed, and happy gave me such peace of mind. It's clear the staff truly cares about the animals they look after. When I picked them up, there was no anxiety or stress at all, just two happy pups who clearly had a great time. Knowing they are in a safe environment with staff on-site 24 hours a day makes traveling so much easier now. Their level of care and professionalism is rare and deeply appreciated. My dog had some hesitation at first but is always happy to arrive there now. The place looks clean and the staff is very professional. The only thing I don't like is that they don't allow the dogs to play after they get a bath. I get it but I also figure she will be cleanER...but that's me and I know it probably creates problems with other people. Overall a super nice staff that seem to genuinely love the pups they work with! Not cheap - but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

He loves going there and jumps into the car when you tell him where he's going. We will be forever grateful for the peace of mind that Happy Tails gave us during a very tough time in our lives.

My husband and I were very nervous about…read moreleaving our "child" with a trainer, but after lots of research (and crossing paths with Jessica several times), we finally decided to meet her. A close friend had already used her services for training and weekly pack walks, and their dog loved it. That gave us the confidence to take the leap. From our first visit, Jessica was patient, kind, and answered every question we threw at her. She's passionate about animals, and it shows. She has the perfect mix of love and structure (helping dogs gain confidence) while also teaching them to respect their owners as pack leaders. Our one-year-old Brittany had a rough start in life, so we knew training would be extra important. With Jessica's guidance, she can now return when called, walk calmly on leash, hold a "place" command for long stretches, and thankfully...no longer jumps up on everyone. The changes have been incredible. The biggest thing we learned is that it's not just about the dog--it's about the owners putting in the consistency and following through with Jessica's instructions at home. Do that, and you'll see results. We're singing her praises to family and friends. Our dog absolutely adored her, and so did we. 10/10 recommend...life changing!
