I had high hopes going into the Happy Sumo, the decor was really nice. The food was meh, I ordered the Teriyaki Tori. It was dry and had no sauce. I honestly couldn't eat much of it because it was so bland. The service was pretty awful too, I felt uncomfortable to ask the waiter anything cause she was so cold. About 40 minutes before closing. The minute we were greeted with ," we are only serving for another 30 minutes, we should have left. The sushi rolls were so small and tasteless. Nice location and the booth we got was nice and private. The service was a little lack luster and the food wasn't as good as I would of liked it to be. But then again I've been living in the Bay Area and the sushi is phenomenal there. Food did come out fast but nothing was memorable or special enough to recommend. I just went on a Sunday despite vowing last time not to come back but craving struck. It took an hour. For four rolls. On a Sunday when we were one of three tables. As a hostess I understand a Friday and Saturday night taking a while but come on...a dead Sunday afternoon in the heart of Provo? Its just not right.
