I eat at Hibachi Pit at least once a week and it is always good food and a very pleasant environment. However, one visit Hannah was not working and my service was lacking. Hannah is a great server and is very attentive to her customers. Hibachi Pit should cherish her work ethic, attentive to her customers and on top of everything. Great food as we have been to the restaurant before. However, DO NOT order off Uber eats. We ordered 4 items 2x combos and 2x apps. We only received the 2x apps. I am not sure how someone misses the only 2x combos ordered to pack for the driver, terrible service. If you are going to offer delivery there should be a process in place to prevent this. read more

I was super excited about trying this restaurant so I was on that side of town one day decided to stop in and have an early dinner only to my disappointment. The rice and vegetables were super greasy and my steak was over cooked. I wanted this to be a great meal. I loved Bebos and know the ownership works towards quality. Noodles were dry and not fresh, overcooked and left a bad aftertaste. My 3 kids wouldn't even eat them. I went today and ordered Filet Minion Fried Rice cooked medium. The filet is an upcharge. I was expecting nicely browned and seasoned strips of filet with a juicy pink center on a bed of fried rice. What I got was nothing more than fat and gristle scraps on a bed of rice. To make it even worse, some of it was completely raw. Chunks of bright white unmelted beef fat with little bits of stringy raw meat hanging off of it. When I had my waiter take a closer look at what he had served me, he admitted it made him sick just to look at it. My wife had ordered the same meal, and the waiter had to take them both to the trash. He came back and explained that they had changed the ingredients from filet strips to filet scraps. Whaaaaa? Who do you expect to pay for a filet and end up happy with fatty gristly scraps? That's how you lose customers. Not a good look, folks. We then ordered another item on the menu Filet Hibachi special, medium again. The Filet actually looked OK, like a real piece of meat that is edible. Having been there way too long, we just packed it up and left. Upon getting home, I had a bite and found that the new steak even after a 20 minute car ride was still dangerously raw, purple, and mushy on the inside. I'm definitely disappointed and kind of grossed out. Despite the friendly wait staff, I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

So I saw this restaurant on instagram and decided I need to try it, see what it's hittin fore. See if I could get my bang for my buck. You know how you walk in a nail salon and the smell of the product, throughout the store, just lets you know that the service will be top tier. I walk into Hibachi Pit expecting the service to be as top tier as the smell. The CASHIER rung me up for a chicken wing special that came up to $18.67. I handed her $20.75 cash. After they asked me if I was paying with a card, I should've paid with my card. But anyways, the minimum change I should've received back was at least $2. The cashier handed me back $0.58. I was so shook they handed me back $0.58, I had to go sit with myself and process. Because I love math. I can do any kinda math in my head all.day.long. I've worked on many registers since I graduated high school. So I walked back up and told them I received the wrong change back. As the cashier was explaining why they only gave me $0.58 cents back I knew they weren't gonna give me the correct change back. So when the cashier decided I wasn't receiving the correct change back was the same exact time I made the decision to not be a continuing customer. read more

We had visited the Hibachi Pit a few times before our dinner tonight and had always had good experiences. First off, our server was great and all the staff was friendly. Everything seemed the same as our previous visits until the food was delivered. On our previous visits the steak and chicken portions were plentiful and cut in large pieces. There was a clear and noticeable difference in our portions and a dramatic difference in the size of the pieces. The pieces were similar in size to what you would get at a quick serve Japanese restaurant. The steak pieces were so small it was impossible for them to be medium rare as ordered. When I asked the server if this was normal she said she had been noticing the portions getting smaller. A manager came over a confirmed this is their new normal. She offered to bring a bit more to make up for the change but she left and never returned or sent any additional food. The food is still good, just don't go expecting the quality or portions they served in the beginning. At $50 for 2 dinners w/ tea the value is no longer there. Oh well, it's still packed and I guess they figure there's plenty more customers where we came from. read more
