Brad provided excellent service at the bar. Nice vodka martinis with sides of olives, Merlot and a side of twice baked potatoes (which chef needs to greatly improve). Amazing ambiance with wonderful vintage music, great regulars, and again a bartender that promotes camaraderie among patrons. Finally, my strip steak, perfectly cooked by yours truly was excellent.

Been coming here, I believe, since my son was 6. He is 40 now! Seated promptly and Nicoli was our server. She was friendly, attentive, and an excellent server. Salad bar has good tasting ingredients. The blue cheese dressing was too thin/watery almost, but tasty. The Texas toast with butter and garlic powder, slightly burnt, is always something I look forward to. 16 ounce NY strip was an excellent cut, I am a minimalist in terms of seasoning when the meat is good -- so just a little garlic powder and a little Worcestershire sauce for my steak. It's always a good time watching people put 12 things on their steak as they grill it, turning their meat 15x. Just a 1 1/2 minute char in each side and 5 minutes a side in a hot part of on hit part of grill, with just a bit of flame. Perfect medium rare and a charred exterior. Yum! Sides good too - French fries, broccoli, and baked potato. Excellent Pinot Noir, that Nicoli picked out. Large pour! Great meal and fun at the grill. Place is cozy but can get really crowded. Go early.

This historic restaurant that has gone through several moves is a step back in time with a unique dining experience where you grill your own protein. Thank can be a variety of steaks that are offered, shrimp skewers, tuna and a few other options. All entrees come with unlimited salad bar which was amazingly fresh and Texas toast. You can add sides if you want them and there is a good variety. When you sit down the waiter explains how it works, after you finish the salad bar you go to the meat case and pick your choice of protein. You then take your protein to the grill where you grill it. There are many seasonings available and a chart with suggested cook times. It is a wonderful and fun experience for everyone !

Let me start off by saying wow!!!! My parents have always wanted to come to the historic Mint Steakhouse, today was a first for all of us. The concept of the restaurant is you will be seated order your drinks and appetizers through your waiter, after you order you can help yourself to the all you can eat salad bar and all you can eat bread and butter. Once you're ready you will go choice your cut of steak and then take it to the grill to cook your own steak. The restaurant itself has been her for many years and hasn't change since opening! The old school style butcher restaurant is very warm and welcoming. I will definitely recommend this restaurant as it was some of the best memories I have had!

I went in with very low expectations since I find that restaurants near ski resorts are always overpriced and not worth the price. This place was so good! The salad bar was SO good and I'm not one to like salad. Everything was so fresh. The lettuce had no pink spots and the tomatoes were firm, juicy, and sweet. Honestly everything was so fresh, I went for 3 plates! The meats were fresh and it was fun to grill your own meat! Our waitress recommended we got the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer, and boy am I glad we got them! It's stuffed with garlic and cheese, so delicious that we ordered 2! Everyone was friendly and service was great. I highly recommend! The meal was reaonsably priced as well.

Located between two more contemporary buildings, this is a steakhouse with a twist. You get to select your own protein (chicken, meat or shrimp) and a side. The side gets brought to your table but the protein you get to cook yourself. There's a sign on the wall that tells you how many minutes to cook something depending on how you want it. Service was no frills, friendly, courteous. Our server was very knowledgeable. Tables felt a little on the small side but you make it work. Walking in to the restaurant, it feels like you're stepping back in time. Oh! The price of a small but delicious salad bar is included.

I have lived in Summit County for several years now and always admire this historic building from the outside. To be transparent, I never went because it seemed like a potential tourist trap, I was wrong! From the minute Jason greeted our party and gave us the playbook, we felt at home. It's homey inside, classic rock, and the meat counter is killer. You have to experience this gem, we will be back!

I love this place. I've been here many times over the years and it's always been a favorite. I love picking out my own steak and cooking it myself to my liking. I love the old time vibes. Booth seating, and the old saloon decor. It's a shame that the restaurant is now surrounded by such ugly urban looking buildings. It gives the outside a very out of place feeling. It feels like the restaurant is the old man's home in the movie "UP". I miss when there was nothing but open space surrounding the mint. The mint will always be a favorite of mine.

A visit to The Historic Mint is an absolute must while in Silvethorne and I'm here to share why. The building itself dates back to the 1860's and is still standing today. The bar area you immediately walk through was the original watering hole for thirsty miners back then. Now it's home to great eats and wonderful service. With it being our first time, we leaned on the staff to share personal and guest favorites while explaining the process of how it works; order your drinks and appetizers at your table, head towards the butcher to pick your choice of meat and take that to the grill to cook it yourself. The grill area comes equipped with all sorts of seasonings and spices, oil, butter, tongs, not to mention the opportunity to chat with locals or out of towners around the grill. And you can never go wrong with an all you can eat salad bar and toast, for free. Pro tip-- ask the staff for a sauté pan and throw some onions, peppers, and/or mushrooms in the pan and then on the grill you've got yourself some grilled veggies. You're welcome. The stuffed mushrooms appetizer was out of bounds; cheesy and packed with flavor. The choice of meats are pretty self explanatory pending on your personal preference. If you're not a red meat person, there's also seafood and chicken available as well. Super cool experience if you're in the area. Especially if you know what you're doing on the grill. Thanks for the hospitality.

This restaurant never disappoints! The steaks are amazing, the mushroom appetizer is so savory, and the blood orange margaritas are so refreshing. I highly recommend this place. The food, drinks, and service is great. Nicoli is a very attentive server.

Went for new years on 01/01/26 and it was the best service/experience we've had the entire vacation, would recommend this place to anyone, good for kids as well! Great bar for the adults! Workers were the most kind people ever!! Loved it

We entered through the patio entrance, found a table right away, and our server quickly brought us water. She also pointed out that water bowls and fresh water were available for our pup, which was a thoughtful touch. I ordered one of the house specialties, the Chilled Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl ($24), and I'm so glad I did. Every bite was fresh and delicious. It had just the right amount of spice--enough to add flavor without being overwhelming. My husband ordered the Summit Mushroom Burger($20), and after stealing a few bites, I can confirm it was excellent as well. The fries were exactly how I like them: crispy on the outside, fluffy and tender on the inside. Great food, attentive service, and a dog-friendly patio made this a wonderful lunch stop.

The cauliflower was crispy, well flavored, and a good taste. We shared the Summit mushroom burgers with goat cheese, wild mushrooms, spicy pepper jelly and roasted garlic aioli. The burger was delicious, juicy and a real treat. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful, engaging and working hard to service the crowd. Eclectric Bar and Grill is not fancy, but a solid option in the burger scene. Give them a chance and judge them for yourself.

We wanted Italian food and definitely were not disappointed in our choice. It was very busy and outside dining was not a choice because of rain. We were flexible and took a seat along an area by the bar. Our experience didn't suffer as a result. Our server was very busy; however, she was attentive and took time to answer our questions and check on us during our meal. We started with cocktails. My dirty martini came out perfectly dirty and with the three olives I requested. Once we ordered, it did not take too long before our meals arrived. They were perfectly hot, generous in proportion and very flavorful. My Linguine Fra Diavolo was spiced nicely and surprisingly had many shrimp. My partner ended up bringing some of her ample meal home (hotel). We were honestly too full to get dessert, although the options sounded delicious. An odd thing for us was the lack of bread to accompany our meals. We could not think of a time when an Italian meal wasn't served without a bread. Nonetheless, our meals were great. Was the meal a little pricey? Yes. Was it delicious? Yes. Would I go back if I was in the area? Definitely.

To start with the good - the brussels sprouts were crispy and flavorful (recommend!) and the kids menu was reasonably priced with good options. The pasta main was also solid, not exceptional but definitely tasty. Our server was absolutely lovely, she was the highlight of the visit! Unfortunately, we ordered the fish special which was halibut and noted that was a little mushy on one side (sadly towards the end of the meal). We stopped eating at that point, but alas, too late. The individuals who ate the halibut became profoundly ill overnight (with what was most certainly food poisoning based on the timing and duration), while the rest of our party who did not have the fish was just fine. The rest of the day was completely zero risk food, which left no other true culprits. We tried to reach out by phone and email without so much as any acknowledgement. Unfortunate across the board.
