Picked up a few items from this store last week... LED bulb replacement for my ceiling fan light (adjustable white), fly traps of various kinds (from liquid bait to sticky traps, eager to get rid of these pesky critters), heavy duty swiffer dusters specifically for pet dander (cuz, ya know, the cuteness overload of my bunnies comes with a price). Just a bunch of random stuff I needed, conveniently available in one place, the Home Depot near the great mall in Milpitas. Finding what I needed wasn't difficult, as I'm familiar with the general area for different products. I did ask an employee for help to confirm the size and type of bulb I was looking for, and he not only confirmed, he offered to help me carry my desired merchandise to the front register, as he saw me carefully balancing a stack of items in my arms. I truly appreciate the effort. Self checkout was a breeze as usual, minimal interaction with staff needed, and I was in and out in no time.

Date: Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 Time: around 4:15pm *Everdean 24" Pearl Gray Vanity Combo ($259) *Everdean 30" White Vanity Combo ($299) *Bannister 30" Pearl Gray Vanity Combo ($339) *Hampton 30" Gray Vanity ($289) *Autumn 30" Vanity in Weathered Tan ($379) *Moorside 36" Sweet Maple Vanity Combo ($419) *Brindley 30" Dark Walnut Vanity Combo ($180.09) *24x24 Yulong White ($2.50 per sq ft) The hubby and I are remodeling a bathroom and it's time to pick a vanity. I like seeing things in person, so we stopped by this Home Depot to take a look at their 30" ones. The ones that interested me are above. I'm leaning towards the Moorside, but in the 30". I like having a drawer. Since it's at the bottom versus the top, there isn't a giant hole in the center for the plumbing and sink. I didn't mind the design of the Everdean ones, but the finish and fixtures kinda looked cheap. The Brindley is a great deal. In the running as well due to the price. I'm not into the barn door design, but hey, it's less than $200 and for a rental, I can deal. We were also here to grab a tile for the top of a foot bench, rest, stool, etc. I have no idea what it is called. The hubs is building a stand up shower, so I asked for a corner foot rest type thing to make shaving easier. He decided to build a triangle like bench into the shower. We are doing wood tile for the stand up shower, so he wanted a white-ish tile on top for the foot thingy. Honestly, I don't have an affinity for home improvement at all, but I don't mind looking at things and picking what I think looks best. Home Depot lets me do that. REVIEW #3600

Home Depot is a great place to get supplies for DIY home repairs, paint, wood, appliances, toilets, tools, lighting, electrical, piping, etc. I came in here for paint. The person was very helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. They were able to quickly match and mix my paint.

Receipt shows price of 2 packages of eye bolts selling for $1.47 each that was marked at @$1.38 each at the diplay

I had 2 things on my shopping list when I went to the Home Depot at the Great Mall. I learned one item had to be ordered on line. The 2nd item was eye bolts to hang some clothes lines in my yard. I found a two pack of them, marked $1.38 (photo). When I checked out they rang up at $1.47 (photo of receipt). This represents a modest 6.5% increase. I mentioned this price increase to the cashier, she shrugged. Does H D adds 6.5% to everything they sell?

I called my local branch, I was informed that there was even a $200 rebate from a Bosch and HomeWise appliance partnership and an additional $50 install rebate from shopping local rather online. Including delivery, haul away, parts, and install, my total was $1350 (out the door price)-200-50=$1,100. A steal of a deal especially when other places charge $1350 +tax when on sale with no rebates or install. My customer service rep, Ling Wang, also informed me of an included deal of a free 10 year major component warranty fulfilled through AllState and a 3 month supply of dishwasher pods. Additionally, if ordering through the local branch, I was informed that the local branch would handle processing the warranty on my behalf rather than ordering fully online and having to go through the HomeWise 800 number. Ordering local is the way to go. Ling was extremely professional and sent me an itemized receipt after our call. . I was able to have it delivered just two days after my order. When the delivery day came, the estimated time window was from 2-6 pm. They called me prior to their arrival at 2:30 and confirmed the address and time. When they arrived, they took apart my old dishwasher and were careful to get it out and even uninstalled the under cabinet pull out trash can to get better access. After uninstalling and hauling away, we had around 10 minutes to clean behind the washer area. They quickly installed the new dishwasher and that whole process took under 30 minutes. When including testing, clean up, and even the reinstallation of my trash can, the whole process was 1 hour. It was a lightning fast install. Overall, the process was so smooth and was a great deal. I'd come back here for any future appliance needs.

It was our 1st time at the store and NO one approached us despite multiple people at their desk with no customers. In fact- I had to walk over to ask a rep for assistance (is no one here motivated to sell units/increase their #'s??)! I will keep his name anonymous for the review, but mgmt certainly knows who our rep was. We made the purchase back on 5/17/26 (paid in full) and were told we would be contacted during the week to schedule the delivery. I waited 8 business days 5/28/26 to be contacted which no one did, so I decided to reach out to the sales rep and left a voicemail since he did not answer. I also sent an email just to have the communication documented. At NO point during the sales transaction were we informed that the fridge was NOT in stock or on backorder. 5/29/26 Rep sends me a text that the fridge in en route to the warehouse for 6/10/26 arrival. Of course I hear nothing on 6/10/26 so I reach out to check on the status only to be informed it's still on backorder until 6/29/26! They did offer a $200 credit due to the delay which we appreciated- but then the recurring theme of NO proactive contact to customers as today is 6/30/26, and again I had to reach out for status of our fridge. This time the rep said, "Unfortunately, the Kitchen Aid is not coming in. We can cancel and refund you if you like.". And that is exactly what we decided to do as we have zero intention to purchase from Homewise Appliance nor could we recommend in good faith that you will receive good service based on the terrible experience/ordeal we had to go through. We just wanted a good working fridge by the end of May when big box stores like Lowes had the same exact model in stock with next day delivery! 44 days after our initial purchase and we just placed our order with Costco.com which we probably should have done in the first place. Don't believe the hype with their commercials as that was far from what we experienced...

When my old oven stopped heating, I decided to replace it rather than repair it. I found San Jose Appliance Store through Craigslist, contacted Anthony, and arranged delivery of a used oven. The oven was delivered promptly, and my old oven was hauled away for an additional fee. Unfortunately, after installation, I discovered that the front burner would not ignite properly. When it did light, it often released gas into the kitchen first, creating what I believed to be a serious safety concern. To the company's credit, they sent a technician to inspect the stove. The technician was courteous, but the repair was unsuccessful. During the visit, brake cleaner was sprayed inside my kitchen, leaving strong fumes throughout the house. My wife and son both complained about the odor, and my son later developed a headache. A few days later, another repair attempt was made when a replacement part was brought to my home unannounced. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. I then contacted GE directly and discovered that the serial number listed in the advertisement was incorrect. Once the correct information was identified, I learned the stove was also missing two racks and required a replacement handle. I ultimately spent about $150 replacing those items. I was also unable to obtain a proper invoice because I was mistakenly given another customer's paperwork. When I raised these concerns, I was told the stove had been sold "as is" despite the advertised 30-day warranty. I was also told the missing parts and defective burner were merely cosmetic issues and accused of "trying to demand money." To be clear, I never demanded money. I simply asked the company to provide the correct replacement part so the stove could be repaired safely and function as represented. That request was never fulfilled. Anthony briefly suggested a trade-in arrangement, but multiple messages later indicated that no exchange would take place. The only remaining option offered was another repair attempt, by which point I had lost confidence in the process. Adding to my frustration, I later discovered that the oven I paid to have hauled away was being advertised for resale on the company's website. At this point, I have purchased the necessary burner part myself and will hire a qualified technician to complete the repair. This has been an expensive lesson. I was not seeking a refund, discount, or special treatment. I simply wanted an oven that worked safely and a company that stood behind its warranty. Update: In response to the owner's reply, I would like to clarify a few points. My concerns remain unchanged. The oven was sold with a faulty burner, and despite two repair attempts, the issue was never resolved. I also did not "demand" money. I initially proposed a simple solution: that the business owner obtain the correct replacement part and ship it to me, which would have eliminated the need for any refund. When no effective resolution was provided, I purchased the correct part myself. This was not merely a cosmetic matter. The issue involved a burner that failed to ignite properly and allowed gas to accumulate before lighting, which I considered a legitimate safety concern. At this point, I no longer expect this business to honor its warranty when doing so is inconvenient or costly. My review is based solely on my personal experience. I encourage prospective customers to consider all available information, including both the owner's response and customer reviews, and make their own informed decision.
