The menu has many food options and decent drink menu as well. We tried the angus sliders, beet salad and Brussels. The sprouts were yummy and a nice portion. The beet salad needed some actual greens to make it more complete and the sliders had a bread to meat issue. We came by Saturday night around 9pm. Only a couple tables with customers. Not very busy. We place a to-go order for their large pepperoni pizza and Bavarian pretzel. About $30 for both. The pizza had lots of pepperoni which was nice and I enjoyed the crust but something about the pizza sauce was off to me that I didn't like. The pretzel were just sticks lol and not the classic pretzel shape. The cheese sauce had separated, looked oily, and didn't look appetizing. Overall we were kind of disappointed. The location is great, it's right in the heart of Natomas Park in a shopping center by many other restaurants. The parking lot is pretty large but it also gets full around dinner time; especially during summer when all the parents bring their kids to the nearby play structure. The service is pretty good. There was no wait for us to be seated and the food came out relatively fast (~15 minutes). Our sever came by multiple times to check up on us which was nice. The flavor of the pizza was great. I enjoyed the dough they used. The vegetables they used really complimented nicely with the pepperoni. I was really hungry so I finished my pizza in less than 5 minutes. The prices are also decent. For the portions you get, they reflect the price and flavor well. Maybe it's because of inflation but I just wish the small pizza was a tad bit larger. You can definitely walk out of here under $40 for a meal for two making this a ($$) place for me. I'd give this place 4.5 stars if possible because that is really what it felt like to me. My friend and I met for Happy Hour at the Hub - it was both of our first time there. The drinks were super cute and tasty and I liked that they had outdoor seating. They play good music too. The food was typical American bar food - nothing really stood out. We shared the calamari, quesadilla, and Philly cheesesteak tots. Some of the tots tasted stale like they'd been sitting out. The waitress wasn't very friendly and actually seemed like she had an attitude. When she brought us the check I brought it to her attention that the food should've been happy hour prices. She said "what time is it?" Umm in all my years of dining, happy hour is based on what time you ORDER, not when you get your check. So weird. She had the manager adjust the total, but the experience was unpleasant. I probably wouldn't return any time soon since I'm not typically in the area around dinner time and the food wasn't that great. I'll stick to midtown/downtown when going out with friends. read more

I've tried to like the hub, in fact, I really wanted to love the place. The inside definitely has a much different vibe than most other local establishments do, so I had super high hopes that this would be our new go to spot. I've been disappointed with each visit, and it's disheartening to spend a lot of money on food that doesn't even meet basic expectations. This last time we ordered four burgers and tots. On one of the burgers we asked for extra cheese, extra sauce, and no produce. The burger had lettuce, no cheese, and was dry. The other three burgers were supposed to be identical, with tomatoes, grilled onions, cheese, and barbecue sauce. Because this was take away, we were unable to look at our order when we picked it up, and did not obviously discover the problems until we were home settled and ready to eat dinner. Maybe they don't have barbecue sauce, or maybe they ran out, but nonetheless, no mention was made about the sauce, or the lack there of. The three burgers that were supposed to be identical ended up having raw onions on the burgers, the burgers were slightly burnt, and they are super thin patties. Not what we were expecting at all. It was an expensive lesson that we won't be repeating. Did I call the restaurant to let them know? Yes, I did. I was told that the orders were checked, and that they saw nothing wrong with our order. That's even more disheartening to call a restaurant to let them know that there were issues, and for them not to be resolved. When I offered to bring the food back to show them, it was just repeated to me that they felt that the orders were correct. Really? I'm pretty sure that I did not order burnt food, let alone, the fact that they weren't made to our specifications... The experience was so disappointing. read more

The new Silly Lilly is a truly magnificent drink (it's purple and has glitter!). It's so fun I think they should make a virgin version as well. This is really an amazing beverage and could appeal to a broad audience. We shared the caprese salad and a large meat extravaganza pizza. It was divine. If you think you'll want a cheesecake dessert make sure to ask up front because they may need time to thaw them. They're made by another vendor and arrive frozen. read more

I'd give The Hub a 3.5 if possible, but for the sake of the amazing service I'm rounding up to a 4. My husband and I came here recently to watch a basketball game after finding that out other options were absolutely packed. The Hub has a huge TV above the bar for the whole restaurant and bar to see and they also have a couple smaller TV's mounted on the opposite wall. Crazy enough, there were only two women total working as both servers and bartenders the whole time we were here even though almost every table was full. They managed to stay on top of it though! We ordered their Dragonberry mojito, a gin & tonic, and plain tater tots with a side of ranch and a side of their beer cheese. The mojito tasted like berry bubblegum and was unusually good, but didn't taste anything like a traditional mojito with mint and carbonation. The gin and tonic was fine - can't really mess that up, and the tots tasted like all other tots ordered at any other restaurant. Their beer cheese tasted good but was on the cold side for sure. Their menu is comprised of burgers, pizza, tacos, and a few bar food items like tots, wings, and a pretzel. They don't have any dessert options and nothing surprising or really fresh on their menu. The Hub is best for those looking for a local place near home to just eat and drink something casual and watch whatever's being broadcasted on TV. read more

Came in spontaneously after doing some Halloween shopping in a nearby place. We were quickly greeted and told that we could seat ourselves anywhere we wanted to. We picked a 2 seat booth and chair in the corner. Menus were brought over and water was also offered which we took. Our server came over and introduced herself and took my drink order the Cane Gang. Cane gang is a rum lime, orgeat, pineapple gum, apricot liquor, orange, and cranberry. The bartender even came out from behind the bar to check in with us to see if we needed anything and we told her my drink we ordered she said she didn't see it come in yet but she will start it and even brought it out to us. Saw the at they have nfl Sunday ticket subscription for football and there were a bunch of football fans in there watching the game at the bar. They seem to have an amazing time. My husband and I have been eyeing this place for a couple of weeks now whenever we're in the area. We finally made it in on Thursday night. There was a sign when we walked in that said to seat ourselves so we opted for one in the corner near the windows. Either the bartender or the manager dropped off a couple of menus and didn't seem real friendly so I was a bit concerned with how our server was going to be based off of the customer service reviews I read on here. Our waitress came a few seconds later and asked for our drink order and told us about the happy hour specials. She was very friendly - more friendlier than her coworker! My husband ordered a Track 7 and I stuck with water. We then ordered the Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos, Cow Sliders and Porky Pig Loaded Tots - all from the happy hour menu. The tacos came with 3 and we pretty big in size. They had the right amount of heat and I liked that they sprinkled cotija cheese on top to give it a nice salty finish. My only complaint was that they fell apart pretty easily and were kind of messy. The sliders had a good flavor, the bacon was cooked well, but I wish I could have tasted the honey mustard that was supposedly on it a little more. The pork tots were just okay, I didn't like the texture of the pork, it was kind of chewy, but the bbq sauce and tots were good! We left full and satisfied! All in all, the food was nothing to right home about, but I've definitely had a lot worse elsewhere! They have a nice bar area and the place is very clean with plenty of seating inside and out. I'm beyond thrilled with The Hub. Before I even went there I was ecstatic to have a new happy hour and late-night bar in Natomas. I'm SO happy that this place exceeded my expectations! To the moment we walked in the service was amazing! We were able to ask questions about the menu and they sat down and discussed it with us. We sat in the small outdoor,, but the inside is adorable and I can't wait to claim my seat at the bar! While the items are pricey, the potions are huge. Since we didn't want leftovers we went with the sliders and Farro Salad. We still had leftovers. The slider grilled thick cut of mahi-mahi was delicious. And that Farro Salad is quite unique and perfect for a person that really doesn't want a lot of lettuce. For the birthday girl, they gave us a complimentary cheesecake that had the best presentation, it should have been in a magazine! Well now, go figure. I returned after my last review when they had changed their Taco Tuesday special but hadn't updated their website. Tonight I was nearby and in the mood for a sime well drink. I checked their website and saw a Happy Hour posting about special well drink pricing. Well, when I ordered, I found out out once again that they had changed their Happy Hour special but hadn't changed their website. In this case, the bartender was very kind and offered the discounted rate. You'd think after one mistake the owner would ensure his website was updated before implementing revised pricing. So 5 starts for service from the bartender but 2 start for the business (plus I never heard back on how they wanted to make things right last time).
