Given the experience, I chose not to leave a tip and proceeded to leave. What happened next honestly left me shocked. Madeline followed us out the door and confronted us about not leaving a tip, asking why we didn't tip and whether we were dissatisfied with the service. I was completely caught off guard and felt incredibly uncomfortable and attacked by the interaction, especially after already feeling like she had been rude and unwelcoming to us the entire time. I have never had a server follow me out of an establishment to question me about a tip. It was extremely inappropriate and made an already unpleasant experience even worse. I still can't believe this happened and will never return to this establishment.
