First trip to Ice Cream Machine in close to 20 years and still great! Multiple lines and plenty of staff. The flavor selection is almost endless and they still have great lime and raspberry Rickey's. Go inside the store for a great variety of chocolate goods and excellent ice cream cakes. Cakes are sold by the slice as well.

THIS IS THE SPOT! Homemade ice cream of your dreams is here!! I chose the seasonal Peach flavor in kiddie which could easily be split by two people. And my partner chose the small sundae with Raspberry Oreo ice cream, fudge, and whip cream. Two items together came to about $11.50! I was blown away by the size of ice cream for the price and happily pleased by the flavors and offerings. There are three lines, but they go by quickly with the fast and efficient workers. It's a quick casual spot offering drinks, ice cream, and candy with many picnic tables. Across the street is a beautiful park and pickle ball court. There is a small parking lot and you can park on the side if the lot is full. There's not a summer day that goes by that I don't think of this ice cream memory.

A great local, homemade ice cream spot! The parking area is small but people are coming and going regularly so it's not too bad to navigate. While there is often a line inside, you can also go inside to order. I appreciated that a small cone was still able to have 2 flavors. The ice cream quality and flavor was really top notch. They do have some outdoor picnic tables and space to enjoy your ice cream as well. Perfect for a summer night!

My favorite ice-cream shop in the whole wide world! I was hyping this place up and even my picky boyfriend of all time loved this place for the first time. Friends and family approved! Also kid friendly. I have been coming here for years and the best part is that they have HOMEMADE ice cream. The icecream is creamy, sweet, and holds its temperature (doesn't melt fast). There is a wide variety menu items ranging from hard ice cream, sherbet, sorbet, yogurt, sugar free options, gluten free cones, drinks, sundaes, icecream cake! There is always a line but it's a popular place and attracts a lot of guests. Well worth the wait. There is outdoor seating with cute picnic tables. It's iconic for its adorable cow signage out front.

The Ice Cream Machine was a stop for the 6th Annual Search for the Best Scoop Shop RI with RI Food Fights. There is a huge parking lot and plenty of places to sit to enjoy the ice cream. There are picnic tables near the parking lot and an outside patio with string lights. Next to the stand where you order ice cream, there is a store to purchase ice cream cake, fudge, and candy. There are many ice cream flavor options and even seasonal ones. I had their pumpkin oreo. It was very good and creamy. It was very pumpkiny. Service was wonderful. The women behind the counter were friendly and efficient.

My GF brought me here for the first time after hyping this place up and it did not disappoint.. my new FAVORITE ICE CREAM SHOP! Man this place hits! Delicious creamy homemade ice cream spot with awesome flavors. I'm a sucker for birthday cake ice cream so that was my first flavor I tried and it was so so good! Instantly can tell it was high quality homemade ice cream and didn't melt all over the place. They don't offer soft serve ice cream but they have a large variety of hard ice cream along with sherbet, sorbet, yogurt, and sugar free options along with sundaes, drinks, ice cream cakes, and a small candy fudge shop connected to it! 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to go back to try different flavors!

I almost feel biased writing this review because the Ice Cream Machine just feels like my whole childhood in one scoop. But maybe that's the point. I've been to so many ice cream shops & still need to make it a point to stop here whenever I'm home. They have so many flavors and very rarely disappoint. This time I had a scoop of s'mores & pumpkin oreo for the perfect taste of fall. Always great service by the revolving door of high schoolers (just glad I'm too old to see anyone I know anymore). And I love the addition of the extra tables & candy shop. Plus they now take cards!

Great home made ice cream! Very crowded in the summertime, but they're organized. There are about 4 separate lines to order. Also, most people don't know this, but you can also order ice cream inside where they sell candy. Many outdoor picnic tables are available. Some people eat at back of their vehicles under the hatchback doors in the parking lot. It's a fun place to cool off!

Very good New England ice cream. Probably not as good as Gray's but that would be splitting hairs. The portions are huge.

Their ice cream is so tasty, and one of my favorite favorites is the Cookie Monster ice cream, which is ice cream with brownie in a cup, like a sundae. This ice cream was humongous. I mean, it could honestly feed two people easily. My husband got their strawberry milkshake, and he says it's very good, and he said it was TOO filling (what a great problem to have lol) When it comes to their ice cream, they are probably one of the top tier ice cream spots in Rhode Island! Location: This location is in Lincoln, and it has free parking on both sides of the location. It has windows outside to grab and go, and it's very casual and perfect for a quick ice cream date, family outing, or just grabbing for yourself. It's a pretty big ice cream location. I usually tend to go in the summer, so I'm not sure how it works during the winter. I have gone here multiple times throughout my lifetime since it's been open for a very long time. When I was younger, they would open the inside as well, and it was very nice and aesthetically pleasing, with very 80s vibes. I'm not sure if they still open it, but if they do, I would definitely take a look and eat inside as well! Service: The service is always quick, and they usually have a good set of staff, so you never feel like you're waiting too too long. Even on the hottest summer days, and long lines it's usually pretty quick to get your ice cream! I will continue to come here, and we'll probably be taking my future kids here as well!

Dyane's has so many sweet treats and it's a great place to get the supplies if you want to make your own candy. They have a whole section of molds and melting candy. They also have a wide selection of candy embellishments for your cakes or creations. I purchased a several things and took pictures of more. Chocolate - I got a half lb for $10.00 and had well over 12 pieces to bring to my event. The chocolates were very good and well received. I recommend the white chocolate/ raspberry one. It was different and nice. Cupcakes- I ordered a lemonade cupcake and peach amaretto cupcake, just on a whim to taste their cakes. They use a heavy frosting that I didn't love and the cake was dry. It was the end of the day, so perhaps they had been sitting out all day but for a first time buyer, that's not good. I love cupcakes and have pretty high standards and I will not be ordering cupcakes from Dyane's. Candy - if you are looking for a place to get original homemade treats for an Easter Basket. Come to Dyane's. They have so many cute options and relevantly affordable. I even saw bunny cookies in a stick. So cute. Staff- the staff here is wonderful. Very personable and friendly. They asked if it was first time, they recommended favorites and they made the experience a pleasant one. That is actually why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 3.

It's exactly what you'd hope for: classic chocolate chip flavor, delicious brownie cookie flavor with that Nutella stuffing sandwiched in between both doughs which actually has a balanced sweetness without being overwhelming. Definitely worth going out of your way for. This cookie HIT! I also tried a few other items: * The cookie dough truffles were solid. Fun and indulgent, deff a sleeper hit. * The snickerdoodle cookie was solid but not the main event. Thin, chewy, with crispy edges which I love so nailed the texture perfectly. Just wish it had more snickerdoodle flavor. * The cookie dough cheesecake didn't hit for me. I lean more toward a classic vanilla-forward cheesecake, the edible cookie dollop was good though. I'm going to start with what I consider an objective fact, although I realize there may be some…read moredisagreement: Wright's has, hands down, the best custard pie in Rhode Island. That is a hill I am completely willing to die on. I've had plenty of custard pies over the years, and I keep coming back to Wright's. There's just something about it. So now that I've gotten that important piece of journalism out of the way, let's talk about Wright's in general. Wright's Dairy Farm & Bakery is one of those Rhode Island institutions that almost everyone seems to know. If you grew up here, you've probably been at least once. If you haven't, I'm not entirely sure what you've been doing. It has that rare combination of being a working dairy farm, bakery, and longtime local institution all rolled into one, and it has been part of the Rhode Island landscape for generations. Fortunately for me, Wright's is only about fifteen minutes from my home in Lincoln. Unfortunately for me, it is also only about fifteen minutes from my home in Lincoln. That proximity has resulted in an alarming number of completely reasonable excuses to stop in. "We need something for dessert" is a particularly dangerous sentence in my household because Wright's immediately becomes the obvious answer. The selection is fantastic. The pastries are excellent, the cakes are consistently good, and the breads are fresh. Then there are the dairy products, including fresh milk, butter, and cream. Around the holidays, they have eggnog, which has become one of those seasonal things I associate with the place. We regularly come here before holidays or special occasions, whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, a birthday, or some other gathering where showing up with a Wright's cake or pastry is pretty much guaranteed to make people happy. The quality is remarkably consistent. Everything I've purchased here has been fresh, and I honestly can't remember having a bad experience. Nothing stale sitting around waiting to be rescued, nothing that makes you wonder how long it has been on the shelf. You buy something from Wright's and you know you're taking home something that's actually fresh. The prices are also quite reasonable considering the quality. They have a rewards program where you can earn points toward discounts or free items, which is another nice incentive if you find yourself coming here as often as I do. And believe me, if you live nearby, the temptation to accumulate points is not exactly difficult to overcome. There is one thing to keep in mind: Wright's is popular. Very popular. It can get busy, particularly around holidays and other major occasions, and some of the more popular items can sell out. That isn't really a criticism so much as a warning not to assume you can wander in at the last possible minute before Thanksgiving and find exactly what you had in mind. Plan ahead, especially for the holidays. For me, Wright's is one of those places that feels woven into the fabric of Rhode Island. It isn't just somewhere you go to buy a cake. It's where you pick up the dessert for Christmas dinner, grab pastries for a gathering, get fresh dairy products, or make an unnecessary stop because you happened to be driving nearby and suddenly remembered that you "needed" something. Five stars without hesitation. The custard pie alone would get me through the door, but the pastries, cakes, breads, dairy products, reasonable prices, and sheer consistency keep me coming back. It's a Rhode Island staple for a reason, and if you've lived here for any length of time and have never been to Wright's, you really are missing out. Just don't blame me when a fifteen-minute drive turns into a regular excuse to bring home a box of pastries.

We ended our visit with a visit to the cows and milking barn. We were too early to see the milking process but we did walk the little trail where kids can participate in a scavenger hunt. Get supplies in the tractor mailbox at the beginning if the path. A few heifers are penned up outside the milking barn and several more were standing in front of a huge fan at the back. At 90° even the cows want a fan! There's a good amount of parking in front of and to the left of the market. Handicap spots are right by the market door.
