Waking up before 7am deserves a reward in my book and the jagged fork appears to deliver. As a first time visitor I had only heard of dishes covered in fruit and stuffed with cream cheese so I figured I'd order something that fit that description. The berry stuffed french toast was quite dense and rich yet provided a filling and flavorful meal. My friends ordered the frisbee sized pancakes and the voodoo Benedict which were also well reviewed. Just had lunch at the Jagged Fork with my daughter. She has been there several times and has told me this is a must go to place. She was right. I had the Grosse Pointer crepe, it was absolutely delicious. It's a large crepe stuffed with ham, mushrooms, onions, two cheese, and the best of all over easy eggs. This crepe is to die for. My daughter had the chunky monkey pancakes one of her favorites. Sampled a couple bites and they are great. Warning, you better go there hungry, the portions are big. The service is engaging and attentive without being smothering. I can't rate this more than a 5, but it deserves it. This is now my go to breakfast / lunch place. Can't wait to go back. read more

I have been living in East English Village since a child and I love the Jagged Fork ..I started eating here about 6yrs ago ..Just went in and tried and man did I enjoy the service was phenomenal and the food was fresh and didn't take long at all..AND ALL AT A REASONABLE PRICE!.. We went here for brunch today for the first time. It's definitely a bit pricey but with all honesty it is probably the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. 2.5 I ordered from them on Sunday from their online menu. When I went to pick up my order, I noticed that the price was unusually high. I looked at the receipt and noticed that the omelette I had ordered was listed as a build your own with a lot of up charge. I asked them about it, and they said the western omelette no longer exists and that it counts as a build your own. When I told what I assume was the manager that the price was higher than what was still listed online, she said they had just changed their menus last week. Great breakfast spot! We drove all the way from Garden City just to try this breakfast spot and let me tell you worth the drive and the food was amazing. I had the Chicken Pompadour Omelet which was out of this world amazing. The pesto made the Omelet that much better. Me and the wife also had the Strawberry French Toast which is the best French Toast I've ever had. Hands down! The Cream Cheesecake type filling is unreal. I had plans to meet a friend for brunch at 10am on Saturday and I arrived about 15 minutes early. I figured I would have some coffee and enjoy a few minutes to myself until my friend got there. It wasn't super busy, no one was waiting for a table, and there were some empty tables in the restaurant and outside. Hostess would not seat me until my friend arrived. While I waited in the empty waiting area for 15 minutes, I watched the same two-top remain empty and it was still empty when I left the restaurant over an hour later. My "Triple Triple" omelette was okay, just a regular meat omelette with American cheese in the middle that you would get at any standard diner. Menu said cheddar, Swiss, and American, but it was just a ton of American. Pancakes were dry, but nothing can really compare to the Pancake House. Friend's breakfast burrito was made with a wheat wrap instead of a tortilla and it was falling apart. Isn't a burrito, by definition, made with a tortilla?? $15 plus a tip for mediocre food and mediocre service. With all the great brunch places in the area, I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. read more

Busy diner!! I ordered a savory crepe which was good. Has cholula as their hot sauce! The French toast and pancake selections looked absolutely incredible!! Only bad thing to say was the silverware seemed poorly washed, a man at the neighboring table asked for a new knife because his was dirty and when I looked down at my fork there were some dried food remnants attached to it. Where has this place been all my life? Good service and delicious food. I had challa french toast, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. Everything was just perfect. The french toast was light, the syrup was warm, the sausage was good, even the scrambled eggs were perfectly fluffy and delicious. I can only call this place average because the breakfast seem just basic in my opinion. I didn't see anything that stuck out to me when ordering my food that made me think oh I need to come back to this place over and over again even with getting just French toast eggs and bacon I just felt like I could've got this anywhere else for a little bit cheaper. The service was great the atmosphere was nice the place very clean which you know is always a positive for anyone else who wants to try this place and maybe have a different opinion than I did. Same owners as Hudson Cafe downtown if you are familiar with that spot. Similar menu. We live just down the street so we go here often. I've had the pleasure of trying quite a few items (all of which are excellent), but I always come back to the Graham Cracker Crusted French Toast. Not your average French toast. Topped with their trademark cream cheese frosting...this is the best French toast around! My wife usually gets the Very Berry French Toast. Full of fresh berries as well as the cream cheese frosting, drizzled with a fresh berry compote. This is not a place for a light breakfast, but you will definitely not leave hungry. Service is always very good. If you arrive before 10:00 am on the weekend you usually don't have to wait long. If you come a bit later in the morning there may be a list, but it moves pretty fast. read more

I will definitely be getting the French toast next time because it looks so good! The only reason I did not give five stars is because I ordered the Texas fries and they were slightly disappointing (a heap of fries with a larger heap of raw white onion on top) and the bloody Mary was $10 and was mediocre at best. Downtown brunch feel without the downtown drive/parking/prices. As fans of sweet brunch my boyfriend and I love the Jagged Fork. They are always busy and you should expect a wait but you'll get through it fairly quickly if you have a smaller group. The portion sizes are HUGE especially for the cost. I'd definitely recommend sharing if you can. They do go a little overboard on the sweet... fun flavored pancakes... topped with cream cheese frosting... topped with Hershey's kisses... topped with whipped cream... it's a LOT.
