Outstanding food! We enjoyed every morsel that we've ever eaten here. My problems and the reason I won't return are that the service is super slow at time when one particular person is serving and it seems as though as you get closer to the evening 6:00 and beyond the food seems to always be running out and slow coming of the grill. My last experience there ended with them were running short on the vegetables and brown stew chicken and I got short changed us on those. We were skimped and short changed on my plate. So much so, that I had gotten home opened up my meals and realized we were missing multiple chicken. So I gathered the meals and went back mentioned it to the server. She knew it when she saw me, fixed it that was the end. I really love their food, tip well each time but I will not be going back there after that experience. read more

We've recently moved into the area and hadn't tried this place bc it's hours were a little hit and miss. HOWEVER; we were just informed that they are now open Tuesday-Saturday. Good thing because we are finally trying it for the first time and this food is phenomenal! So much flavor!!!! Great portions. I had the shrimp curry. My husband had goat curry and jerk chicken. Oh my gosh; this is my favorite BBQ Chicken to go place. OxTails are to die for as well. Sides of ample delicious rice, veges and the most amazing mac and cheese is such a treat. Even though the mask mandates are lifted (March 2022), these thoughtful owners continue to wear face masks as do their employees to make their customers with compromised health, or who want to avoid getting Covid (vaccinated or not) feel safe. All they do to make getting my Jerk Chicken dinner fix safely, is greatly appreciated. Fancy new food containers have been added, and are going to be appreciated by all those who commented they wanted recyclable containers. The to go containers are the best. I called up for the daily menu and they had three plates on the menu: Jerk Chicken Brown Stewed Chicken Oxtails We ordered everything. The portions are really generous and it came with beans/rice, sauteed veggies of broccoli, red cabbage, green beans, fried plantains, and mac and cheese. Nothing was overly spicy, kinda of just a warming heat. The chicken was flavorful to the bone and really moist. Everything was super flavorful, even the veg. Very good authentic Jamaican food, I would give 4.5 stars the main dish e.g. curry, jerk chicken is small they could definitely add more but they make up for it with a large helping of rice and veggies. The thing is if you're paying $20+ for stewed beef or oxtail you're paying for the meat.the patties, pastries and bottled drinks are delicious and classic pairings to your Jamaican meal. It's a family ran business with the children working up front. The customer service is excellent and the food was served fast and hot. They add a side of Mac and cheese to your dish and I swear it's the best you'll ever eat. The menu changes depending on what they have in stock.
