This is my husband's favorite crawfish spot now. He loves loves loves it and couldn't stop talking about it after we ate it for lunch. Haha. We came in during lunch time, kinda when they opened. We were welcomed and seated right away. Our server was very nice, but kept rushing us to order. I did not appreciate that. I told him I needed a minute, but he stood by me and kept asking what it was I came in for and that I should just order it anyways before going through the menu. I almost decided to leave because he wouldn't leave me alone to look at the menu considering it was my first time and he knew it. Anyways, we just ordered two pounds of crawfish to try it out. Didn't want to order too much considering how expensive it was and what if we didn't like it. We did the Juicy Special Flavor and made it really spicy. The crawfish was pretty big; great size! Big enough to get meat from the claws. It was cooked perfectly because the tail meat was easy to take out of. The flavors was good and the kick was just right. My husband loved it! For me, I liked it a lot. But there was something missing within the flavors that I couldn't pin point. Still good though. We visited this location this past Sunday , I ordered a boil bad with a pound of snow crab, a dungeness crab cluster and a pound or craw fish . The meal can with corn and potatoes. I ordered boiled eggs in the side . The food was good .. it's what you would expect from a crab place that sells this type of food. Calamari should be crispy and so hot that when you first take a bite, you almost spit it out because of the heat.. But the calamari here is soggy and cold... It tasted like left over calamari that hadn't been microwaved enough. Ew. But I was hungry so I ate it. Second, we ordered the crab legs and shrimp combo. The food comes in plastic bags and you are given bibs. I'm not sure if you're suppose to use the plastic bag to shake it or what.. We were not given any kind of directions so I shook it anyway... The portions are small..... it comes with one corn and one potato in each bag. There's not that much meat in the crab legs. Huge disappointment. Third, the sauce that the food is marinated in..... I will give that 5 stars. The sauce is BOMB. We got the juicy special and garlic butter... both excellent. That's why this review has 3 stars.. because of the bomb sauce. My wife and I are here over the weekend and had a pretty tasty lunch! Only facility cons are that the bathrooms needed to be cleaned, and it would be nice if they handed wet wipe packets out with the bibs and gloves to help clean after the meal. We ordered the fried oysters and mozzarella sticks for appetizers which were both just ok (oysters were a bit bland and the cheese sticks seemed like they were from a pre-made frozen section of a supermarket). The seafood boils were delicious! We got a shrimp and sausage platter and a crawfish and snow crab platter with the juicy crab special sauce and mild heat. Definitely a delicious flavor and worthwhile trying out. Polly was definitely the highlight of our experience, and the true expression of southern hospitality! My Husband and I decided we would ditch work and get a head start on holiday shopping and since I'd been asking when can we go to the Juicy crab like a small child asking to go to the park! I guess with the hype of something new and new locations popping up and the juicy crab being the talk of ATL. I visited 2 days before the failed health score and the coverage of WSBTV New station. The Staff is a mix of different people of all ages who stared at us the entire time. It was so weird they were talking about us right to our faces. There was no wait as we arrived as soon as they opened the doors for the lunch crowed. There was a small line starting and it was raining.. um no I'll sit in the car until the doors open. I am a seafood maniac and I feel my Husband makes the best seafood broil anyway! I'll share a picture from my birthday. My husband ordered wings like we always do from wherever were eating. My favorite seafood place! This is my fave little solely due to their sauce!! Their spicy garlic sauce is to dieee for. I usually get the crab legs and crawfish, and the fried shrimp with tarter sauce. The crab legs are amazing with the sauce. If you're a fan of seafood and spice, get the crab legs with the everything sauce! You will not regret it. It is also surprisingly filling. I didn't think the order of two clusters would make me full but it did. Their fried shrimp is so crispy! Definitely better here than any other place I've had it thus far. You get a bib and gloves. I'm glad they provided us with these. You pick your seafood that you'd like, pick your flavor, and spice level. There's also a combo where you get half a dozen of each item and you need to pick at least a minimum of 2 items to do the combo. Each bag comes out with a corn and potato. We went on a Friday afternoon before the dinner rush. First time for both of us. They brought it out in a plastic bag that I wasn't entirely sure what to do with. So of course I checked the Yelp pictures to see I just pour it out in a metal tray. I had the Cajun medium Dungeness crabs and it was delicious. Although the greasiest feast I've had in a long time. The juicy special is a mix of all the sauces, garlic butter, cajun and lemon pepper and it's just...in its own rating. It really is. I love the flavor of these franchises, but this one didn't come through on the food quality. I ordered a double Jack and Coke and had 2 clusters of Snow Crab legs. The first batch came out cold. I sent it back after I bit into the cold claw meat. They sent out the same clusters (missing claw) after they warmed them up. Microwave? I hope they didn't put them back into the same pot as everyone else's crab legs after they had been on my plate. Also check out the photos of the crab legs. They were large shell with small meat. The price is comparable to the other seafood restaurants around the area like Blazin' Cajun. The beers are cheap at $2.75 for a bottle of domestic and $3.75 for a bottle of import. If you get a bucket, you'll save around $1.50. I gave them 4 stars because the staff was friendly, we were seated promptly, and the food was decent. I think that if they marinated their seafood a little longer, it might have tasted better. I thought the crawfish was a little bland and the extra hot Juicy Special sauce clams were not spicy enough to be called extra hot. However, the fried shrimp basket was delicious. The Juicy Special sauce concept is similar to Cali's The Boiling Crab's The Whole Shabang sauce. It had a garlicky and buttery taste to it. There were plenty of seating - booths, tables, and outside. The best part of the food was that the seafood REALLY did taste juicy, however, I was disappointed in the sauce. I was expecting flavorful, thick, garlicky, buttery sauce like at Loui Loui's but theirs was more buttery than anything. Don't get me wrong, it's still delish but I'm def hooked on loui loui's sauce. Corn was great with that buttery based sauce and the potatoes were ok but nothing to write home about. My extravagant meal that was probably a serving suggestion for a family of 4 costs $31. All the reviews talk about how great the seafood is and my friend talked me into going again. I've eaten my share of crab in my life and would like to say I know good crab legs. I've only been sitting her for 3.5 seconds and maybe you could give me a minute to get situated first. So, he comes back with our drinks and asks once again if we are ready to order. NO! Dang. So, 2 minutes later he returns and we just go for a pound each of crab legs and I get the lemon pepper seasoning. 2 -3 minutes later another server comes out with our crab and starts shuffling stuff around on our table and then all hell breaks loose. He dumps my entire glass of Sprite in my lap...Yeah, in my freaking lap!!!! WTF???? It's all over my shirt, jeans shoes and handbag. Probably 20ozs of icy Sprite all over me. I literally had to wring out my shirt and wipe the stickiness off of my brand new suede peep toe booties. When I say brand new, I mean they just came out of the box in the CAR before I entered the restaurant. The waiter started getting these slivers of tissue paper that were pretending to be napkins to wipe up the spill. That didn't work. So, I'm standing there PISSED and here comes a dude with the nastiest mop in the city and he starts flopping that thing all under my chair. Which is the point where I noticed a whole potato on the floor under the table. Yeah...a entire potato!!! Now, all whilst we are there some man keeps stopping by to ask how we're doing. He's nice enough and continually apologizes for all the flubs. We decide to stay because where the hell else am I going to go for dinner soaking wet??? While they were cleaning the table, our crab went to the back and I think they brought it right back out to us. The same crab that had Sprite spilled all over it. Since it was in a knotted bag we went ahead and dug in. The sauce tasted fine, but I could see through the legs and they were hollow. The largest part of the leg had a little smidgen of crab at one end and the rest of the shell was empty. When I went to pop the leg the entire thing bent like a rubber band. I probably should have gotten the king crab, but since I have my own stash at home that I packed up and brought back on the plane with me from Alaska, I didn't want to waste that much money here. I'm glad I opted for the snow crab, but I ended up not paying for this meal anyway. The little bit of crab I dug out of maybe 3 legs was mushy and it should be firm. Meat shouldn't stick to the shell. For all the people who think this is good crab, I have to respectfully disagree. You can make crab legs at home for $7.99 per pound that is 1000 times better than this place. BTW, don't boil your crab legs. If you buy them frozen, let them thaw and then steam. You don't need to slather the shells in gobs of oil and seasoning. You crack the shells, pull out the meat and then dip in clarified butter with whatever seasoning you like. One more thing, no real crab eater wears gloves...OK! I'm just saying! Both of our orders went back. While we were sitting at the table wondering if we should try another batch, another server whips by and pulls a fake napkin out of the dispenser on our table. He wasn't our server, he wasn't wiping anything up at our table but he needed a tissue for his nose and thought taking one from a table with customers sitting right there was appropriate. Why not take a sip of my drink or grab a bite to eat while you're at it!!! That was it for me! We left and I went home and peeled off sticky clothing, showered, tried to clean my new shoes and made myself a grilled cheese. So we went here on Sunday at noon, when they opened, because we tried to go to the Smyrna location on Saturday night and the line was literally out the door and down the street. We had a party of 14 and were given a fairly large booth, also added another table to make things more roomy once the entire party arrived. It was all of our first time there, so we weren't sure what to order but we were excited to try things out. Quincy was our server and he was great, he never missed a beat, answered all our questions, made great suggestions and always made sure we had everything we needed. So for as far as alcoholic drinks go, stick to the beer and wine menu. They have a margarita menu, so I started off with a margarita. They were overpriced and weak, the reason I did not give this place 5 stars. Also because they didnt have a printed kid's menu. But Quincy let us know our options: chicken nuggets, shrimp, chicken tenders, or popcorn shrimp. All those options come with fries. I added a side of corn on the cob (3 for $2.50) Appetizers - we had calamari, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Everything was good, but I think the onion rings were my favorite. They brought an assortment of sauces to the table with the appetizers: tartar, siraccha, marinara, and the must have and my new addiction BOOM BOOM SAUCE. I don't even know what it is, but it is delicious. So for my meal I did a make your own combo, which comes with corn on the cob and a potato. I chose snow crab legs and lobster tail with the juicy sauce (a combination of garlic butter, cajun, and lemon pepper). You can choose as many options as you like. The juicy sauce is a must get, has a lot of flavor with just a little kick to it, not too spicy at all. OMG everything was delicious, may have to wait out the line the next time I see one. read more

It's probably because they don't answer the phone or you get there at 11:17 and they tell you the kitchen is closed even though they say they they close at midnight. Online ordering for more than one person is a task and you may give up. Past all this and you may actually arrive on time, online order and get your food within 39 mins. The food came out fresh and hot . The service was amazing we had Polly and if you stop in make sure you ask for her you won't be disappointed! She great with the kids and great with our meal . She was attentive and care about very thing she brought out. She even helped with opening things after our hand were full of food and nasty . She took care of us as if we where family . This's what we ordered and what we ended up eating . We ordered crab legs ,shrimp ,chicken wings ,sweet potato fries , French fried ,Crawfish,sausage,eggs, corns bad potatoes........ ( the whole menu) . It was wayyyyy too salty even after we tried to wash them ""TWICE""... TRASH THEM ALL of course ‍ !! We had so many bad experiences here the last 3 times , and this time the food is not" eatable "‍‍‍‍ . never ever again !! read more

We had a party of 15 and was seated pretty quickly in the back room. It took a little while for us to get out drinks but mine was worth it once it arrived. I ordered the Hennessy margarita and it was . Shortly after our food arrived and it was great! Our server was also amazing! It did get a little warm where we were sitting, so I kinda wish there were some fans especially for the people eating spicy seafood but other than that you can't go wrong with The Juicy Crab. read more

Came here for lunch today. We ordered 1 lb snow crab legs, 1 lb crawfish, 1 lb manila clams, 1/2 lb dungeness crab, 1/2 lb sausage, and 1 lb shrimp. I love that it comes with corn and potatoes. We got their hot special sauce. All was so good! Great seafood!! Can't wait to be back! read more
