Awesome new restaurant in the new office complex at Torrey Hills. Beautiful setting and good food at reasonable prices.

So delicious! Employees are always kind and helpful. The shrimp salad is a favorite, today I added steak for some extra protein 10/10

This place is hard to find, but if you do find it get the smokey chipotle chicken bowl, it's excellent!

Clean restaurant, great menu selection and the food is very tasty. It gets busy during lunch rush but it's worth the wait! Great service!

Wtf is carne asada less expensive than freaking falafel! Does not seem fair to people trying to eat more sustainably.

I am a CAVA fan & saw this restaurant next door. I decided to give it a shot and am so glad I did…read more I was greeted right away and didn't wait long. The employee was nice. I was so impressed the salad looked just like the pics. I feel like that rarely happens! I usually am picky or hesitant about trying Tina at restaurants but im glad I got it there. The salad was so fresh, filling, and light! I will be returning for sure! I'm looking forward to trying the other menu items too!

Service: [5/5] Staff was really nice, no complaints there. A bright spot in an otherwise mixed…read moreexperience. Price: [2/5] $30 for a sandwich and smoothie is a tough pill to swallow. The sandwich at around $15 is pricey but feels more appropriate for what you're getting. A $12 smoothie isn't unusual in San Diego, but when the taste doesn't back it up, the price becomes a lot harder to justify. Food/Drinks: [3.5/5] Chicken Salad Sandwich -- A 3.8/5 for me. I'm from the South, so I have a pretty solid benchmark for what good chicken salad tastes like. For a healthier take on it, this one actually holds up--the dill was a nice touch and the soft whole wheat bread worked well. That said, I'm judging it on taste alone, not its nutritional value, and it's decent but not exceptional. It also came with vegan bacon bits, which I didn't mind. A solid sandwich, just nothing that wows you. Strawberry Delight Smoothie -- A 3/5. It's clearly a nod to Hailey Bieber's Erewhon smoothie and it looked the part, but the taste was just okay. I swapped the almond milk for 2% due to my nut allergy, which the staff accommodated easily, but even still it didn't wow me. At $12 I was hoping for more. Ambience: [4/5] The interior is on the smaller side but I came on a beautiful day and sat outside, which made for a lovely lunch break. One Paseo is a nice area to be in, so the outdoor experience saves it. Overall Experience: [3.7/5] Jan's is a cute concept and I get the appeal, especially in that setting. But the prices are genuinely hard to justify when you're right next door to Cava, where your money goes a lot further. I'd probably come back for the vibes on a nice day, but I'd be much more selective about what I ordered.

The dressing was a bit spicier than we anticipated but it was very tasty. All the ingredients were fresh and all went very well together. Possibly a new salad to add to my usual orders here. Service was standard. We did pre-order on the app and when we got there, they did expedite ours a little, which was appreciated. Since they were busy the tables and chairs weren't cleaned but it wasn't a very big deal. Overall a decent experience at this location.

What happened to this location :(…read more I can't see myself returning after today's visit. I stopped by to get a quick Cesar salad (minus chicken) as I was so hungry and nearby Del Mar. The place was empty but alot of to go orders being prepped. A guy helped me and I asked for all kale for my base. The portion seemed small so I asked him for more base kale and he gave me side eye. Keep in mind this is for their BASE (not toppings or premium toppings) - just the base (you'll see portion at end). I subbed tomato for cabbage and then he added the small scoops of parm and cheese crisps. Then tossed with Cesar dressing (it didn't look familiar this time around). The portion was so small that he even looked at it when ringing it up and I was waiting for him to say 'you want me to add more base' but instead shrugged and said 'it's b/c you omitted chicken'. Thanks guy. I could only shake my head when I opened the container. It wasn't even half full. And for $11. I could have gone to Jimbos for a bigger portion at their self serve salad. Or gone to Urbane Cafe (my fave place right now) for ahi kale salad for $13.95. The salad tasted bitter today (like radicchio for some reason) and the dressing didn't taste like their familiar Cesar. I'm kicking myself for not getting salad from another place.

What a super chill venue!…read more Went here with my sister's friends for Sunday brunch this past weekend. The venue is pretty stellar! They're dog friendly, have large grassy areas and corn hole; it's such a vibe. It's all about the outside dining area and that awesome wall of jasmine flowers. It was breezy and the scent traveled making the experience super unique. We were famished and everything on the menu looked next level good. Our waitress Cynthia answered all our annoying questions. I got the lavender lemonade to start and it hit the spot. The lavender was perfect, not too perfumy (not a word apparently but it is today) but enough to say ok, there's lavender in there and I like it. It was refreshing. My main meal was the chilaquiles which had a nice kick to it so beware if you can't tolerate any spicy flavors. It was more of a soup in presentation but I love sauce and may have licked the bowl because I'm classy. We also desperately wanted the side of potatoes because we kept seeing it and all of us ended up getting an order and did not regret it. The potatoes include the skin, salted and super crunchy. It's like fry well fries and I'm all about it. We will be back!!!

Our party of 40 had an open bar with a bartender who took excellent care of us. We had a buffet that featured spicy pork belly, portobello mushrooms, rice, beans, fresh corn tortillas, and all the toppings to build our own tacos. For dessert, we had fruit tarts. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. If you're considering a venue for a business event or a holiday gathering, I recommend checking them out.
