    Avocado burger.. my catsup dump
    Barbara B.

Just as good as last year! This time we swapped the onion rings for fries and the fish for an avocado burger. All delicious. Quick yummy stop before we unpack

And their softserve ice cream was a big hit too!

We loved the informal dining and the food was very good. We ate every bite of our cheeseburgers and on another visit tried and loved the lobster rolls. The help keeps the place neat and clean, even when it's really busy at lunchtime.

Yummmy. It's window service to order and pick up. No table service. Lobster rolls with fresh lemon tasty. The onion rings are a must have, fine sliced crispy piled high!! Fries also good but those onion rind dipped in horseradish mayo sauce was too good. Friend liked her haddock fish sando too. We sat outside in a heat-lamped patio still a bit chilly but ok on a 25° day. Tip there's more parking farther back road below the tiny lot on main road. & Shakes look fantastic too!!

The food is fine. The buns for the lobster roll and the fried clams were subpar. Service is fast and they just call your name over the intercom to have you come up and get your food. I wouldn't tip for this type of service so be mindful that they ask for tip. There isn't any official inside seating so bring a jacket because even if you ask them to turn on the heat lamps above you, they won't do it . There's plenty of parking to help yourself water and ice machine and bathrooms on the premise .

This place was great! One of the best burgers I've ever had and definitely the best onion rings I've had. Loved the sauce they served with them too - kind of like a milder bloom sauce. 10/10 would recommend

Do you like Shake Shack? Then you'll probably like The Knack. The shakes are good, the smash burgers are tasty, and the onion rings remind me of a blooming onion. There's a decent amount of outdoor seating and the service is pretty fast. The parking lot is a bit too small and the patrons don't seem to care about well... anyone but themselves. So, if you can snag a spot, they make a darn good burger.

Loved this place! It came highly recommended and I can see why! This place is awesome... I ordered a lobster roll as well as a couple burgers. They came out fresh and were extremely delicious! There were out door tables and chairs, water and shade.

This was recommended as a great place for black and white milkshakes. They were delicious. We also tried the burgers, hot dogs, and lobster rolls with fries, onion rings, and carrot slaw. You order at the window. There are tables outside. We took our order to go. I would definitely go back.

Fish tacos were great! Seasoned well, lightly breaded, and the cabbage slaw was very good (Plus the tortillas actually stayed together while you ate it). Perfectly dressed lobster roll with good chunks of lobster! Onion rings were a 10/10 and the sauce they came with was great too, fries were also good. You order at the counter and there are tables in the back that are first come, so depends on how busy if you can get one and how loud it is. We will be back

My family was in search of a quick dinner spot and came across The Knack, which had excellent reviews. It did not disappoint! The restaurant has a charming clam shack style where you place your order at the counter and then pick it up to enjoy at one of the outdoor seating areas adjacent to the shack. There is a good number of tables and chairs, along with all the necessary sauces and napkins conveniently located nearby. I pre-ordered our meals in case there was a long line, but when we arrived around 5 PM on Wednesday, there were only a couple of people waiting for their food. Everything we ordered was fresh, and the chicken nuggets were particularly outstanding--perfectly crispy and delicious! We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Great Burgers. Love the easy and good food at a reasonable price. Sort of an up-scale drive-in. Very nice people. Also good Lobster Rolls.

Most overpriced soft serve ice cream on the Cape. $3.50 for a small (smaller than Mc Donalds .59 cone) easy to choose, just don't patronize!

I have read many great reviews and positive social media postings about Surfside Seafood so my wife and I were really looking forward to giving them a try. After our meal there I am wondering how this place got any good reviews at all! I ordered the fried whole belly clams plate and my wife got the fried scallops plate. The good news? The scallops were very good - ~12 nice sized scallops and they were all very fresh and tender. My clam plate consisted of six of the tiniest/scrawniest whole belly clams I have ever seen in my life - I thought they had served me clam strips! The fries were terrible - a nice portion but soggy, limp, flavorless and a huge disappointment. It was obvious that the oil they were fried in was not nearly hot enough so the vast majority of what we were served went into the trash. The restaurant shares space with a fish market so maybe they spend more time and effort ensuring the fish market is run well but from our experience tonight their kitchen is not. Hands down the worst seafood meal I have had on the Cape! I'm glad we didn't try the chowder! So our search for our "fave seafood restaurant" continues. We will not be returning to Surfside Seafood.

A 4.5 star review, rounded up because the owner was so kind in helping us find the perfect table…read more We showed up at Caroline's as a referral from Connor at our hotel, the Eagle Wing inn. There are multiple different seating options, everything from an outdoor patio to high top bar seats, tables, and the indoor booth seating which is what we selected. The dining room is comfortable, and with open windows it provided a nice breath of fresh air. We started with the seafood sampler, a wonderful combination of fresh and delicious shellfish (clams, oysters, shrimp and a lobster tail). We then split appetizers instead of entrees, having the tuna tartare and the Chatham mussels, both of which were excellent. There was some minor room for improvement - after we were done with our seafood sampler, we sat for about 10 minutes while our server Danielle seemed to be in an enthusiastic conversation with Caroline out in front of the restaurant. It provided for some interesting dinner theater, but with so many other employees standing around, it probably would have been an ideal opportunity for somebody else to chip in and take over. Also, the mussels came in a wonderful wine / garlic sauce - some bread would have been a thoughtful addition to soak up that wonderful broth. Fortunately the quality of the food and the vibe of the restaurant more than compensated for a couple of service issues - we visited in late May, so hopefully by the time this restaurant hits the busy season, they'll have the issues worked out. Overall, I would certainly not hold back from referring this restaurant.

Service was very friendly. The food came out incredibly quickly. Almost too quickly. I wouldn't have minded waiting a little bit to have more time to enjoy my wine and the ambiance. There was bread service which I enjoyed because a lot of restaurants have stopped offering bread. We had a beet and arugula salad to start which was delicious. For dinner I had the scallop dish with a seafood demi glacé and mushrooms. It was very rich with umami and paired well with the sweetness of the scallops. My husband had the grilled swordfish which was good, but not very special. The piece of fish was a little thin and slightly overcooked. The buttery caper sauce was good . Our lemon meringue tart was tasty, but the tart crust was tough and nearly impossible to cut through. Overall it was good, but not great. It was also very expensive. My dish with 4 scallops was nearly $50. The total with our food and just two glasses of wine plus tip was nearly $200 which is quite steep, even for the Cape. If we were to return next year I think we're more likely to come for a lunch.
