Love this spot! Indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of outlets inside to get some work done! Staff is incredible and makes great recommendations. Food is tasty and what you would expect from a small coffee/bakery spot.

The staff were such sweet ladies!! The coffee I had was a quick order, a perfect pick me up before a long day. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I think my favorite part was the column filled with Polaroid of dog visitors! Great spot and will be back!

Rasher's & Egg Brekkie Pie and Iced Coffee

Wonderful stop for breakfast and coffee, but I would stop here any time of day. Their brekkie pie was delicious and I'd love to try more. Oh I also got a slice of vegan banana bread and it was amazing. Their iced coffee was also very good. It is a cute spot with seating inside and outside. It has a relaxed atmosphere and I would definitely enjoy working there as I drink my coffee. The staff were also friendly, helpful, and informative. Oh and they also have some draft beer which I am going to come back and try. Great place! Pros: *Good coffee *Good food, Aussie pies & pastries *Local draft beer options *Great atmosphere *Friendly staff Cons: *Not really any, maybe a limited coffee selection if you like tons of options

Cool spot, just off the beach! Coffee was very tasty, biscotti was delicious and just perfect companion for my latte. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it for sure.

I was in town and stopped for some Kookaburra! There is one in my hometown so I knew that it would be good! I had the honey badger ice with almond milk and a breakfast Aussie Pie which was delicious! The space was tiny and had a long line but the line moved quickly. The customer service was good as well.

This place was unbelievable !!! I enjoyed it so much. I was instantly transported to a surf shack in Australia. The coffee was amazing!! I had their signature honey badger with honey cinnamon and vanilla. Delicious and high quality coffee . We tried an Aussie brekkie pie . We had the corker. It's like a small chicken pot pie but with sausage egg and cheese: we loved it! They gave us a sauce that was like a spicy ketchup. The filling was savory and the pie was crispy and buttery! My friend and I shared one and fought over every bite lol! We also split a chocolate chip scone that had so many chocolate chips! Unreal! My favorite stop in st Augustine!

Pretty mixed reviews on their coffee if I'm being honest it's not my favorite but they don't come to play with their tea. Nice staff great location makes this the only look I go to

Very good coffee my husband and I were in town for a couple of days and came every morning for coffee to go in this cute location. Service was fast and nice. The Pc was my favorite one

Inside is really cute. Love the pole with all the pup photos!

Absolutely wonderful. This place will be a must if we ever come back to town. My hubby had the Aussie iced coffee which was fabulous. I had the green goddess iced which was so delicious -- my hubby even said "did you finish that? You never finish your drinks!" Why yes, yes I did inhale that delicious drink. We also had the True Blue Aussie pie. Was large enough for us to share, as we didn't want much. It was just the right amount. Flaky, light and yummy. Also the coffee shop overall is cute -- and clean! We sat inside and were very comfortable. A must visit if you're ever in St Augustine Beach.

Is there a place at this location large enough for me to park my travel trailer (30ft long plus my truck) so I can get some yummy Aussie meat pies?

Not at this location. Check their location at 470 SR207...the parking lot is larger

I came in on 4/3 and ordered the following: 1 Warm croissant with ham and cheese 1 Amond croissant 1 Simply Orange Juice 1 French Orange Juice 1 Cappuccino Once my total came I was quoted $31 sounded crazy for the little I ordered but nonetheless I swiped my debit card and went on with my day. Later that evening I was checking my bank transactions, and low and behold I was charged $43.46 for my order. No way! I was not a fan. I reached out to the website email and explained the issue. I got a polite "I'm sorry you were quoted wrong" & a copy of the transaction. I also noticed a $5.67 tip that I am sure I never opted for as I never leave tips with a card payment it's usually always cash. Honestly there are many good home baked places around that are in a better price range , and handle issues better, than this one was taken care of.

My wife and I have visited The Ice Plant several times over the years, and it remains one of our…read morefavorite dining destinations in St. Augustine. The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.

I was told 9pm at the earliest on the phone, the website said 7:30 at the earliest and when I showed up in person to ask they had immediate seating. In fact, not one other table was taken indoors. We had our entire meal alone, inside this restaurant which is a converted home. Many of the homes in St Augustine are like this, so a home converted business isn't weird. But it is when 10+ employees constantly walk by and you are eating at a somewhat private table. I have no idea what all those employees were doing. We joked that the cheesecake restaurant was a front for another business because the employees seemed so busy, yet no one was there. We also had to laugh, almost the entire menu was sold out. Every person at our table had to order their 2nd or 3rd backup item, most of us completely changing our order. One in our group had the waiter come back twice to tell us they sold out of his item AS his meal was being made. While the cheesecakes were very good and there was potentially a nice selection, I think this location was a bit too odd to recommend to other diners unless you specifically just want cheesecake. If you do, just get it to go.

Stopped here for something sweet after spending the afternoon on St. Augustine Beach with my…read morefamily. This was my first visit to Cone Heads, and I had a very enjoyable experience! Cone Heads is located right on A1A Beach Blvd, just a block off of the beach. It is in a standalone building that is inviting with both colorful signage and plenty of outdoor seating. They also have a drive-thru and a private parking lot. When we visited on a Tuesday in July around 5:30 PM, we had no issue getting a parking spot. There were some other customers enjoying some ice cream, but there was relatively no line when we entered the store. The ordering happens inside, and you walk right into the ice cream cabinets and counter. All of the flavors are displayed and can be seen from the order line. Additionally inside, there are some tables to sit and eat at, along with a restroom. They sell a variety of merchandise along with their food and dessert selection. I liked seeing the community cork-board, where there were a variety of different posters and advertisements for events and services around the area. The menu consisted of traditional ice cream items one would expect - cups, cones, sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, and more. They also had a Seasonal Special section on the menu, which I assume changes somewhat frequently. This trip, that item was a Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. There are some sundae combinations on the menu, but you can customize your own if you choose. There is hard ice cream, soft serve, and also some hot food options - hot dogs, sausages, and tamales, primarily. For drinks, they had canned soda, bottled, water, and some coffee options. As far as to-go, they had pints and quarts available for the ice cream, along with a freezer full of pre-packaged pints, quarts, and ice cream sandwiches for a grab and go situation. Having never been here before, our group needed some time to look at the menu and flavors before ordering. There were around 30 different flavors of hard ice cream, which included No Sugar Added and Dairy Free varieties, in addition to traditional full dairy varieties. I thought that the flavor selection was a healthy mix of traditional favorites and unique offerings. The staff working were friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions about the flavors. I even got to try a couple samples before making my decision. After much debate, I landed on trying the Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. This was made to order, and I got to choose the ice cream for the filling. I opted for the Kahula Chip for a coffee and donut flavor combination. I did enjoy this treat! The donut was fresh (and from a local spot), and the ice cream complimented it nicely. I thought the price was also fair for the size and specialty of the dessert, at $5.50 before any tax. My dog was waiting patiently in the car, so we ordered him a Doggie Ice Cream. It was a small boat of vanilla soft serve with peanut butter sauce and a Milk Bone. For my magnet collection, I also purchased one of their logo to take home with me. I personally did not pay the bill, but I thought the pricing here was fair and in line with any other similar type of shop. They took both cash and card. This shop is exactly what you would want out of an ice cream shop on the beach - fun, colorful, and local. They incorporate various other local businesses into their products. The theme of the establishment is appropriate for being a block away from the ocean, and there is a lot of color and fun decor to look at around the building. The staff were all pleasant, the product is tasty, and the price is right. Really enjoyed discovering Cone Heads on this trip, and will make sure to stop by again during my future trips to St. Augustine!
