Our burgers were so delicious and filling. We both tried their new signature smash burgers ; the spicy jack smash burger and the French onion dip smash burger. They were both good but somehow tasted almost the same in terms of toppings. The only major difference of course is the sauce it includes (still good!). They weren't too greasy and didn't sit heavy on a full stomach. I wish they gave more complimentary sauces alongside their combos but it's 37cents extra per more sauce. With that being said, if you decide to get more sauce; the pineapple habanero sauce was phenomenal! I couldn't get enough of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is comfortable given how much space they're allotted to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was friendly, quick, and efficient. It's definitely worth the try

I came here with my parents on a Saturday around 12:30pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was kind of loud, so I had a hard time hearing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thankfully, they take your name and number, then text you when your order is ready. My dad got the BBQ Ranch Smash Fries. My mom got the Grilled Cheese. I got the Beef Melt. Fortunately for my dad, we agreed that the fries were the best. Unfortunately for my dad, we insisted on sharing. One word of advice... check out the "Texas" donut at the nearby Randy's Donuts! It's hilariously big!

And of course what goes best with a burger..fries if course..I am not a fancy fry guy, plain is good enough for me..food was ready when I arrived and staff friendly and the sit down area is perfect for dine in. The Kroft, located at The Packing District, was one of the most exciting restaurants to be at, especially during the holidays, as it was just festive and fun filled during the holidays! This restaurant fit perfectly into the ambiance of The Packing District, which features a modern, cozy atmosphere and offers many different menu options. I ordered the smash burger which did not let me down. The smash burger that I ordered was extremely juicy, flavorful, and was cooked to perfection. The smash burger that I ordered also included a nice caramelized crust, which provides a smash burger additional flavor. I paired my smash burger with their gravy smothered fries, topped with fried chicken. Their gravy smothered fries were excellent because they were very crispy prior to being smothered in gravy, and the fried chicken on top of the gravy provided an additional crunchy texture and seasonings to each bite of the fries and to the gravy. The combination of the gravy smothered fries and fried chicken made for a rich and deliciously flavored dish that could have easily been its own holiday treat. Inside the Kroft there was very little seating. However, despite the large crowds and long wait lines during the holidays, the Kroft staff were friendly and helpful! Getting a table and having a chance to enjoy their food while experiencing the great vibe of the Packing District was relatively simple and enjoyable. My experience at the Kroft was both satisfying and fun and has already got me thinking about returning to the Kroft when I go to the Anaheim Packing District again, where I will definitely order another smash burger!

Etched in the packing district with dozens of food options to choose from, one of my favorite options to choose from for food that always satisfies whatever mood I'm in is The Kroft. Small seating area (to be expected it's the packing district), the menu is plentiful and the workers are helpful, especially with a lot of items I've never tried before. Got the loco moco and the classic fries, and my goodness I could eat 10 boxes of each. Fries are cooked well, nothing dry of any sorts and the additions to each stand out in their own respective ways. Didn't have to wait too long either, and every time I think about the packing district I think of the kroft. Try the poutine, it's great

My son was arriving at LGB aka Long Beach Airport and so after picking him up we went to LBX Hangar to see what interests my taste buds when I walk around the food court. So I saw their rotisserie cooking up the pork belly Porchetta and so I went with the Porchetta sandwich. Some cheese curds with garlic Mayo and a French onion smash burger. The service was ok, at least there were no mistakes. The burger and sandwich were good. The Porchetta on ciabatta was a bit oily, but very tasty. I would actually try some of their other sandwiches. The smash burger was also very tasty but it was a bit salty, maybe from the Parmesan cheese crisp. Let's see what I go with next time.

Decently priced food , nice size portions, food took a good bit to come out but the double Wagyu burger and garlic fries were both hot and tasted great. Service to order was quick , small eating area or you can take it and sit elsewhere.

In Packing district. Walked in and looked at photos on wall.The Smashburger caught my eye. So I ordered the combo but thru my phone. It was my first time using the app. I ordered but it was a bit confusing. I went up as my text arrived that my Combo Smashburger was ready. As I got my food [[HIGHLIGHT]]I looked around to find a place to sit as you know this place is always packed and stuffy down stairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went upstairs got a spot only to remember I didn't get my drink so I went back and I asked the girl in pick up she said she couldn't give it to me I had to go to the line again. Really for a drink I already paid for and I even showed her the receipt attached. So I had to wait again for a while just to get to the front and ask she said oh yeah the online is specific when you order and if it didn't have anything then we don't serve it. It was a loss of time it's just a cup of a drink paid for the first girl should have helped. Ugh Only to try to get the spot back and of course it was taken. So the burgers sauce was messy. I felt the Double patty advertised is s super thin one that doesn't even make one normal size. I felt that it was.more brioche bun and sauce than anything. The fries were good they were super soft tho. Not sure bc of the wait time for a drink or if they toss them in too much liquid(sauce) for garlic fries. Overall I won't be ordering from them again. On to trying something new there

I rarely go to the Anaheim Packing House but every time I do, I get food from The Kroft, and it's always a poutine. You cannot go wrong with the poutine. Service is standard; I received my order in 10 minutes. There's plenty of general seating all around the Packing House, so you don't need to sit directly at the food stand. I usually get the country fried chicken poutine. It comes with sausage gravy, cheese curds, chicken nuggets, bacon, and green onions. The last time I got this, the chicken was very dry, almost overcooked, but this time it was piping hot and the right amount of crisp. Personally, I think there needs to be more gravy and more fries. It is a little pricey though. If you are hungry, I would recommend getting a burger or sandwich with a side of fries.

My boy and I decided to head to the Anaheim Packing District for the last night if our SoCal trip. Plus, it was my very first time visiting! Since we couldn't decide on a restaurant, we went on to pick our own places to grab a bite from. The Kroft was bookmarked on my list but I couldn't remember what for. Then I looked at the menu and it hit me! The PB & J Wagyu Smashburger! I went on to place my order with the friendly staff. On top of ordering the burger I had to get a side of fries. Turn around time was decent due to the fact it was a Friday night and busy. I met with my boy at a table he found and I unpacked my order. The PB & J Wagyu Smashburger looked immaculate. I was hooked with the sweet and savory flavor, medium cooked patty, and fresh condiments. The fries were nice and crispy. But I'll most definitely need to be back to try their other menu offerings.

My favorite place to eat when I'm at the packing house!! There are so many places to choose from but I keep going back to Kroft! The dip sandwich is amazing!!! The star of Kroft is the Poutine fries.. What more can you ask for fries, cheese curds and yummy gravy! Must try worth the wait read more

The hubs and I stopped by Kroft this weekend to load up on good eats just before our Star Wars run at Disneyland...and this place did not disappoint! We had the short rib melt sandwich and shared the chicken pot fries/poutine. The sandwich had a delicious merriment of flavors and was filling though the hubs thought it had too much of the pickled red onions. The chicken pot fries were pretty good but the gravy was a bit salty. These fries were the perfect size for sharing between two (or even three). Can't wait to come back and try the other options! read more

got a steak sandwich and it was really good.. also ordered fries which were good as well. the thing that made me lower the stars is that the wait was so long. I was really hungry and had to wait such a long time to order. there are also a lot of people and it's very loud so it wasn't the best environment. customer service wasn't the best I've seen but overall the food is good. would recommend it if you're in the area but wouldn't recommend you going out of your way to come here. also, prices are too high for what you're getting. I paid 17$ for a steak sandwich and fries and was not full afterwards because the sandwiches are small. read more

I've been to the Packing House 3 or 4 times now and The Kroft still the only place I've eaten at for food. The poutine fries are WORTH. I've had the chicken pot poutine and the short rib poutine. Both are SO SO yummy but my favorite is the chicken pot poutine. Imagine chicken pot pie, with all its gravy goodness, poured over crispy fries. WORTH. The short rib poutine is a little too salty for me but that could be because there's not too much sodium in my diet... But there's a lot of meat in the short rib so if you're a huge meat person, I definitely recommend that one. The cucumber mint lemonade is pretty good. I'm not a huge cucumber infused drinks fan but it's definitely refreshing, especially after all the heaviness and greasiness of the poutine fries. Definitely recommend this place! read more

This place is located inside of the packing district. My friends and I came here to try the poutines. We ended up ordering the short rib poutine and shared. It was really good. I really liked how the short ribs were cooked, it was perfect. The cheese curds along with the red onions were such a good touch to the whole thing. I thought the dish was a bit heavy, but it was definitely something worth trying. I would definitely come back here :) read more

Whenever I come to the packing district it's always for the short rib poutine. The meat is tender and comes with cheese curds and gravy. However I wouldn't be able to finish everything bc after awhile it gets a little boring. I recommend splitting a poutine with a sandwich. read more

After a couple beers it was time to eat so I took my wife to this place. After reading reviews on yelp and talking to people while having a beer I was prepared to wait in line for 30 min but heard it was well worth it. We walked in and to our surprise there was no line. We walked right up and ordered after looking at the menu ahead of time. We were ready and determined to have a comfort food dinner. It's a fast food set up so you order at the cash register and they give you your food to go. You then find a seat and begin to grub. We ordered the fried cheese curds with a garlic chile mayo. Amazing! Fried cheese is always awesome. My wife and I shared the country fried chicken poutine that was a burst of flavor in your mouth. Can you go wrong with fries, gravy, bacon and fried chicken pieces with cheese. We also shared a prime rib sandwich. That was also very delicious. Meat was tender and sandwich was cheesy. Can't forget about the two downtown brows to was it all away. The staff was very helpful and gave recommendations of what to try. It was amazing food and a great experience. We will definitely be going back and next time take some friends. read more

Let me start by saying OMG it's like there was a party in my mouth and everyone is invited (lol). My husband and I shared the Porchetta sandwich, loved it! Great texture and amazing flavor. We also shared the short rib poutine, another winner! I loved the pickled onions and of course the short rib was tender and juicy. It's food done right! I will definitely be back. Decided to give this place another try since we have guests in town. Stood in line on a Monday afternoon for 15 minutes for them to tell us that they were out of porchetta. A sign out front telling customers they were out of it would have been nice. Disappointed yet again. read more

Standing in the long line was definitely worth the wait! We ordered the Country Fried Poutine, the Chicken Pot Pie Poutine, and two of the Kroft Fried Chicken sandwiches (yea, we like our chicken). My vegetarian cuzzo ordered the cheese curds, which tasted exactly like mozzarella sticks! It also came with this garlic aioli sauce and that was REALLY REALLY good! Try it with the fried chicken. Despite of all the yumminess, I don't think I could have French fries for a while. Don't get me wrong... the poutines were delicious, but they're pretty heavy. If you have a small appetite, you can share a poutine with at least 2-3 other people and split a sandwich with one other person... just so you won't feel so guilty. read more

I've had better sandwiches than kroft's porchetta. The meat just wasn't flavorful to me. They ran out of fries and poutine around 8 pm on a sunday! How do you run out of a staple item like fries !?! I'll probably come back to try their fried chicken sandwich, braised beef sandwich, and their poutine. Hopefully those items will taste better. read more

Spicy fried chicken sammich, braised short rib on ciabatta would be awesome with that jalapeno salsa. The cucumber mint lemonade is a tiny lil' treat (hint!). Don't mind the waiting line, either. Get a seat first, then order! read more

I decided to make one last pit stop before leaving Anaheim and thought I should check out the Anaheim packing district. I was not disappointed when I immediately entered what I would consider a foodie's small slice of heaven. There were too many different places I wanted to try, but I eventually decided on the kroft. I'm a big fan of poutine, and I decided on a loco moco poutine. The dish was rich and full of flavor, and the fries were fried decently. The egg finished off the poutine nicely and it was nice and hearty snack. I would definitely return to try their sandwiches, especially the pork sandwich I saw them making through the window. Anyone stopping by the district should give this place a try. read more

Awesome place, had the chicken pot pie fries. And.... They taste just llike chicken pot pie on fries. Super cheesy, it's original and claims freshness. I will say, it is heavy, total gut bomb. But delicious. Cucumber lemonade is fabulous and the cheese curds were perfect. Love it. read more

I'm from Montreal where the Poutine is originally from. It's been difficult to find authentic poutine in California and they have done a great job! The gravy and the cheese are exactly like I remembered. Will definitely be back! read more

I've never had poutine before and this was a great introduction. The gravy and cheese were perfectly balanced in flavor and the fries were cooked perfect. Not too soggy and not too crispy. I got the fried chicken poutine, and we're 8 bucks, I was stuffed! The chicken was perfect with the gravy, fries, and bacon. Delicious!! read more

First time trying this place and it was an okay experience. The porchetta sandwich had great flavor but the bread threw me off. My first 2 bites unfortunately had hard things that couldn't be consumed. It was pretty hard and needed to be spit out because it seems like it was going to break my tooth. Even my boyfriend got a hard texture on his first bite. I also wished the bread was more softer. I had to remove one side of the bread because it was too thick and chewy for my taste. I also ordered the garlic truffle fries. Mmm that was great. Lastly I ordered their mint drink. I noticed that it was ready to go. The drink was in a cup already and all they had to do was put ice. No problem with me I understand they do that for faster service but my ice melted so quick so that was a bummer. I was left with a liquid cup. Not so refreshing. I'm just giving them my experience so that it doesn't happen to another customer or maybe it was just by Janice that I unfortunately had to experience this Overall I would give this place another try. They have other sandwiches that looks delicious. Oh and I like their packaging read more

Finally tried The Kroft to see what the hype was about. Had the brussels with bacon, braised short rib poutine and prime rib sandwich---split with a friend. Food was good. The poutine was decadently delicious, even as leftovers. The prime rib sandwich was good but not my favorite. Brussels with bacon is always a win. read more

Oh the hype. I came the the packing house with friends on opening day and saw that The Kroft was SOLD OUT! You'd think that was a great sign...I mean think of all the places you've tried to endulge in and only to be let down by a "Sold Out Sign". So on a un-important weekday at an un-popular time we stopped by the Packing House to try The Kroft. Guess what, still a line! But not "Sold Out". Ordered the porchetta and The Kroft Fries. Anticipating a wonderful sandwich... I took my first bite. Sigh...I took the remaining porchetta and tossed it in the trash. Just Kidding, I shared the sandwich with friends and we all had a deep discussion on the importance of good bread. The bread was tough, and yea i get it, it's some chiabatta type, but it wasn't airey, it was dense hard and blah. The pork itself was decent with bits of cracklins. I have a feeling this place is all show no go. But i will be back without expections. And if The Kroft Dissapoints again... Never Again. read more

As a regular here at the packing house I have to say one thing: I would never come back if the kroft wasn't here. The fried chicken sandwich and chicken pot pie are comparable to crack. I dream of them. If I don't come back at least once a week for them I fall into deep withdrawals and that never ends up pretty. All hail the KROFT read more

The crispiness of the roasted pork sandwich is amazing. Juice oozes out of the sandwich, along with the sweet cilantro dressing. INCREDIBLE. $10 is a little pricey, but it is an artisan dish. I've had it a few times and each time, it seemed like the portion of the meat decreased a bit from 1 time to the next...so if they continue down this road, $10 will be too expensive. read more

Waited in 20 minute line for The Kroft. Grabbed the Porchetta Sandwich, Chicken fried steak poutine, and overloaded potato salad. Porchetta sounded promising but came out less than expected. The dressing was overpowering and the meat flavorless. It was well presented but I anticipated more meat flavor and less dressing. Poutine was so delicious I ate half of this sandwich and concentrated on the poutine. Chicken Fried Steak Poutine was the highlight of the meal. Generous portion of meat. Good ratio of gravy and cheeses. Lots of flavor in each bite regardless if it was just a fry or a fry covered with gravy, cheese, and meat. Potato salad was probably one of the best I've had. Nice size chunks of potato, but a good amount of creaminess. Overall The Kroft is a cool hip spot. Maybe I came on a bad day since so many other reviews speak well of the Porchetta sandwich. I'll definitely check it out next time in the OC. read more

I had the fried chicken fries. Was it good? Yes, but is it better than chili cheese fries or other usual variations? No. In fact I was craving in n out fries animal style the entire time. What of service? I don't know, but the Asian girl at the register wasn't friendly at all. Probably has defensive mode against men at all times. Was interesting to try though read more

I have passed this place up every time because there is always a line but it seemed i was lucky enough to arrive on a slow day or maybe just non-busy hours which was between 3:30 - 5pm on a Saturday. I tried out the country fried chicken sandwich and it was spicy and delicious! It had cabbage, jalapeno chunks and a dressing i could not figure out but tasty enough to finish no questions asked! I also order a side of their regular fries which was a little on the salty side, but still tasty and edible with their spicy cajun mayo sauce. I am curious to go back and see what else can fancy my taste buds. read more

Prime rib dip was very flavorful. The bread was very soft and tasty. Cashier was excellent in helping us mix and match. She suggested the braised short ribs on arugula. Soo good. Topped off with cold beer. Gotta come back again. read more

As I was walking towards the restaurant to pick up the sandwiches, I overheard a group of people eating their banh mi outside saying "wow, this is very delicious, this is the best banh mi I've ever eaten". That gave me high hopes and I was really excited to dig in. Upon walking in, it's a small restaurant with maybe 2 tables and no more than 4 chairs for each table and a huge kitchen. It tells me that most customers come in, grab their food, and go. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. I drove the sandwiches 40 minutes home before sinking my teeth in. After taking a bite of each banh mi, I have to say this is hands down the best banh mi I've ever eaten. The bread was soft and fluffy on the inside, packed with meat and toppings to the point that the mayo, pate, and sauces were oozing out. I expected the skin of the crispy pork to soft and soggy since the drive home took 40 minutes, but I was beyond shocked! The crispy skin stayed crispy and was able to hear the crunch with every bite. That's a huge plus for me. The flavor of the grilled chicken was excellent and chicken was moist and tender. For the classic, it's weird to say, but it's the best Vietnamese cold cuts I've ever eaten. What really shocked me in the end is that these banh mi ended up costing around $8-9 per sandwich, which is a steal as some places charge $10+ and the flavors are nowhere near carrot and daikon. Whenever I'm in town, I'll definitely need to stop by.

Unfortunately, brunch was a bit of a letdown. When we walked in yesterday, the restaurant was basically empty, with only a group of three sitting in the corner. The hostess asked if we had reservations and said she needed to check to see if there was room for us. We were eventually seated at a tiny table pressed against a beam. I had a view of the kitchen, while my husband had a view of the open door leading into the hallway of the Packing House. Definitely not the best table if you're there to enjoy the atmosphere and vibes of the restaurant. Our server was also a little strange. She was very meek and didn't really seem comfortable in a customer-facing service role. I ordered the Fizzie McGuire cocktail, and the presentation was underwhelming with zero garnish. Unfortunately, the drink itself was incredibly bitter. It tasted like the simple syrup may have been forgotten or there was way too much lemon juice. My husband ordered a coffee cocktail (I can't remember the name), which came with a dried banana garnish that was completely stale and inedible. Our drinks also sat at the bar for quite a while before being brought to us, and our server never came back to check whether we liked them. For food, I ordered the avocado toast and my husband got the Pearl brunch burger. The burger was good and a decent portion. The avocado toast came with a salad, although I wish there had been an option for potatoes or something a little heartier. The salad had a sweet dressing, which just wasn't what I was in the mood for. The avocado toast itself honestly looked like something I could have made at home. The cucumbers and radishes were all cut unevenly and simply arranged on top. The toast was literally just avocado, cucumber, and radish--no seasoning, no olive oil, and basically no flavor. It was incredibly bland. I eventually had to flag down our server and told her the toast was terrible. I asked for some salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar to try to make it more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the balsamic she brought out was a sweet glaze, which made the toast even sweeter. At that point, it almost tasted like I was eating a doughnut. I took a few more bites and just couldn't eat it. The hostess eventually came by and asked if I wanted a box. I told her the avocado toast was terrible, and she asked, "Oh, why didn't you say anything?" I explained that I had. She said she would speak with our server. They did end up taking the avocado toast off the bill, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. I really want to like Wooden Pearl because I love the decor and the overall concept, and our first experience was good enough that we wanted to come back. We plan to give it another shot at some point, but unfortunately, based on this brunch experience, 3 stars is all I can give it for now.

It was our first time at the Anaheim Packing District and we had no idea where to get food for lunch. Checked out the second floor first but nothing grabbed our attention, except for Popbar. Went to the lower level and we almost decided to get Vietnamese because that's the first thing we saw while going down the stairs. But then...hey, that's a cute pig! My fiance saw they have poutine and dun dun dunnn! He's Canadian. So he demanded really nicely that we try the kroft. We got the prime ribeye dip sandwich, porchetta and classic poutine. - I really liked their porchetta. It's very flavorful and the meat is very juicy. I also love that it has salsa verde, it's like tacos on a ciabatta! I wish it had a little more crunch though because I didn't really get the texture that I was expecting from the pork cracklings. $10 - The prime ribeye dip is also tasty, with or without the au jus. Meat is not dry and it's very tender. It's a pretty good sandwich, but it doesn't have anything that makes it stand out. $12 - Classic poutine. Maybe we shouldn't have gotten this because it's just "meh". There isn't anything special with it. I blame myself because I decided to go for the classic... we should've tried the one with braised short ribs or really, just anything except for the classic. Maybe next time! Fiance thought it's decent though. $7 - Their cucumber mint lemonade is very refreshing, especially on a hot day! I usually don't buy drinks like this one because it just sounds too healthy for me but I really didn't wanna go around looking for drinks so I just settled for it. Surprisingly, I liked it! $3.50 Prices are decent and portions are generous..well, maybe not for the lemonade which is a bit small for its price. Today was my first trip to the BEAUTIFUL Anaheim Packing House. As I walked around searching for somewhere delicious to eat, I stumbled across a few that sounded tasty, but I couldn't take my eyes off of the line that looked to be an hour long. "The Kroft" so there I stood, expecting to be hungry for a while longer...boy was I wrong. The line went so quick, and when I finally arrived I asked... " what is everyone eating.... because I'll have that." The young woman at the register smiled, and began telling me about the mouth watering menu. I asked her to pick for me : ) I was not able to decide. She choose a porchetta sandwich and a braized short rib poutine. I waited patiently expecting to wait a while, nope wrong again. Within 10 minutes i had my dinner, Little did I know I would be eating the best thing of my life. The prochetta had such good seasoning, the bread was so soft, and the dressing topped it off perfect. The poutine, words can not explain, fries, cheese, short rib, gravy, mushrooms, and onions. You can not ask for a better combination. To top this all off I had one of the most amazing lemonade you will ever believe, CUCUMBER MINT. ( extra ice please ) !! I will be back to this place as much as my wallett can take.!! The food is amazing. I'm bringing so I'm bringing my family up from Legoland we decide to stop and beautiful Anaheim. We were famous from the ride wanted something to eat this place looks interesting we thought. So we go online ready to make an order I go inside to the location personally to see the menu. We place an order of about $60 in food. I sat down for no more than 5 minutes when I got a text saying the food was ready I thought wow what customer service. However once I received the food to go it's appeared to be thrown into the bag with no to go items like cups with covers containers for the food or whatnot. Just very poorly thrown together. So we get back to the hotel to eat it and no kidding the kids could not eat the only things they ate were the French fries and chicken tenders which were overcooked. I ordered the country steak fries took one bite and almost threw up. My wife ordered the original gravy she took one bite and started cussing. It appears that all of their food has been sitting and is old I also purchased macaroni and cheese for my children and they didn't like it they said that it taste burnt and I didn't know a 5-year-old even knew how to say that. They were nice enough to return half of the bill and I just ate the rest of the other half, taking the pandemic into consideration I did not return all the food which I very well 100% should have. They do have a sign up saying that they are looking for Cooks and maybe that might be the problem I'm not sure but I guess you could say they left a bad taste in my mouth about Anaheim. read more

I recently visited The Kroft, and overall, it was a solid experience with a few highlights and some room for improvement. Ambience: The ambience at The Kroft was fantastic. The live jazz music added a vibrant and lively touch to the atmosphere, making it more than just a place to grab a bite. I also appreciated the variety of shops and food halls nearby--there's definitely no shortage of options if you're in the mood to explore. The seating was plentiful, which is always a plus, especially when you want to relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Food: I tried two items during my visit--the Hot Cheetos Cheese Curds and the Classic Poutine. The cheese curds were crispy and had a nice crunch, but I was hoping for a bit more kick from the Hot Cheetos. The spice level was pretty mild, so if you're expecting something with a fiery punch, you might be slightly disappointed. The Classic Poutine was also on my list, and while my wife (who's from Canada) didn't think it quite hit the mark, I personally enjoyed it. Seems they cut back on the meat and filled the orders with more fillers, which makes for a less attractive meal. ordered - Porchetta: Pork Belly, Loin, Cracklings, Salsa Verde, Ciabatta $10 Mine was missing Salsa Verde and it was filled with arugula with some strange spread, no site of cracklings and the MAIN ingredient was barley present no succulent pork belly could be found. Over all just veggie and bread nothing like what I had once enjoyed! Prime Rib Beef Dip: Caramelized Onions, Horseradish, French Roll $12 NOTHING about this was PRIME it was plain and simple sliced roast beef with some watered down beef juice - not even a flavorful Au-Jus! Caramelized onions almost to taste (almost had some on it) and yes smothered in horseradish sauce -way to much) this is really no a PRIME RIB BEEF DIP! Cheese Curds - can't be done wrong unless they sit in he grease for a long time. Enjoyed the curds for the first 4 bites but the heaviness from the deep fry was over powering the cheese texture. _____SERVICE_____ The workers here work in a hurry because they always have customers waiting. It's a popular place at the Packing District. They are attentive and descriptive so feel free to ask them about anything on the menu. The waiting for the food is moderate. They give you a buzzer that goes off once your food is ready. This is so you can continue looking around the Packing District if you wish. Generally people wait near by though. There are only about 4 or 5 small tables where you can sit. _____PRICE_____ They are in the low-end of the $$. More like in the high-end of the $. Poutines between $7-$10. _____PRESENTATION_____ The food itself is delicious and a poutine will fill you up. In my experience my friends end up taking leftovers back home. Will come back again. _____LOCATION/PARKING_____ Parking can be difficult at evenings/nights but in the afternoon you should be able to find parking outside the Packing District. I'm here giving a 5 start review to the cashiers for their patience and kindness. I was so moved with what I saw I had to create a Yelp Account just to post this. Last night a very drunk man started going CooCoo yelling and saying rude things for over 10 minutes. Making the biggest scandal ever (and they say we women are drama queens) The cashier was very patient with him even when he was yelling in her face. I know packing district has security, but where were they yesterday? Poor girl was just trying to do her job. After that was handled they quickly took my order and apologized for everything when it wasn't even their fault but it was very nice of her to do so. I only came in for cheese curds because we were eating at Urban where the same crazy man happened to be as well with all his party where he was telling them all to go on Yelp and review them horribly and saying disgusting names towards the cashiers so I decided to come here myself and say he was the Crazy One! I came all the way here from Alhambra to see what the hype is all about, and let me tell you... the Kroft did not dissapoint! I came with a group of friends so luckily I got to tried all of them Poutine fries, and yes, all of them were effing delicious for around $9 each! You can't complain about the price for a place that are packed with HIPSTERS! I was expecting to pay a minimum of $13-$15. surprisingly the Pot Pie Poutine was my favorite, followed by the Country Fried Steak Poutine (close enough), and lastly I tried the short rib Poutine. the reason why I said surprisingly is because I'm a beef guy, and yet the other two were so DELICIOUS!! don't get me wrong though, DAT BEEF was still pretty good. the lemon cucumber drink was also refreshing and delicious, it complimented the savoriness of the fries very well. So came in around 7/8 and tried ordering some food but they were out of everything my husband and I wanted. No Porchetta No Italian Sandwich No Fried Cheese Curds and on top of this all No Regular Cheese for the poutines. The only good thing about this place was the cashier. She was kind and apologetic and said she was willing to put a different or extra topping on our poutines in exchange for no cheese. After we ordered we decided to wait for our food there and realized that many customers were brutally disrespectful to her over something out of her control. She is a cashier people not the cook!!! She apologized several times and the customers asked for a manager but she said her manager wasn't there at the moment but was willing to have him call them but they proceeded to call her a liar. Review for: Hot Cheetos Cheese Curds The Hot Cheetos Cheese Curds are a newly featured item! I've succumbed to the Hot Cheetos craze and went down as soon as I found out The Kroft released it. The cheese curds themselves had a similar consistency of soggy mozzarella cheese sticks. I'm a big fan of cheese and know that curds are supposed to be more thick and elastic-y in texture. The Hot Cheetos crust added no taste to the curds except for the flavor of extra oil. Ick! I may recommend that they double crust them in their future batches. These costed around $5.50 and filled their regular sized container. I couldn't stomach them because of all the oil. This price would be worth it if I was able to eat more than 2 pieces... I just felt grossed out. read more

I came here with my friend last week to see what is this place is all about. We looked at the menu and decided on the fried chicken poutine and porchetta sandwich. Dang both items were so good. Both of these items have high quality comfort grub written all over it. When you come here the flavors reflect that menu item. What you read is what you get and when it comes to food that is all I want. No trickery! I know it did not go into detail on the flavor profile of both items, I will leave that up to you -the reader. Oh my oh my! If you have yet to visit the KROFT, you are wasting your time. The KROFT has one of, if not the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. The chicken is well cooked and very juicy, never dry. The slaw that they put on top of the chicken is amazing. It is not too spicy and not too sweet and mild but just right. For a drink, I highly recommend ordering a lemonade. Their cucumber lemonade is a perfect beverage to enjoy alongside their fried chicken sandwich. Their service is also fantastic. The longest I have had to wait for my food was maybe 7 minutes tops. They have a great turnaround time and the food always tastes amazing. read more

I'm making this review 100% on that hot cashier. Someone get me her number I was so close to her taking my order but then another guy came in and she went to do something else. Talk about blue b***s lol. Luckily she handed my food out to me so we touched hands (clearly into each other) and thats when I saw the ink. I fell in love. We have the same tattoo and I decided to make a move and ask her if she had more and she was nice enough to show me her ear one and her other ones which was f**ing hot. Besides being hot, friendly. I had a chance to try one of the popular restaurants over at the Packing House. I must say, i'm a fan on their Poutines. I ordered the Braised Short Rib Poutine and the Prime Rib French Dip. The short rib was very tender and the gravy was very flavorful. The pickled onions gave it a nice crunch and sweet/sour taste. But all in all the flavors blended together. The Prime Rib French dip was okay. Maybe because the meat was more on the well done side. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

What fun to meet the gang at the Packing House! I have had the Chicken Poutine, Short rib Poutine and the Porchetta. All were pretty good. All were pretty filling by themselves without more sides. We stopped by The Kroft at the Anaheim Packing House and it did not disappoint. I had the Cubano and it was one of the best I've had. Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor in every bite. My friend was excited to bring us here. He loves poutine and it's not something you can easily find around here. Poutine is basically loaded fries with different toppings with some sort of hot gravy or melted cheese. I tried the philly and classic poutine and they were delish!
