The food at the LAB is god awful, like I mean terrible. If the food was good, they'd be packed before games at Galen but no one comes here because the food is always terrible. The ambiance isn't bad, that's probably the only good part about the LAB and there's TVs to watch. But even the wings are bad, I'd recommend eating at a fast food spot down the street on Fig before coming here. If you're going to a game at Galen, just eat on campus or at USC Village, TRUST ME.

The Lab is a chill spot for food and drinks. There is seating both indoors and outdoors with some large couch areas for big groups or small tables for intimate meetings. We ordered the kimchi fries and brussel sprouts for the table. They were tasty and well portioned for sharing. They had a sizable drink menu with cocktails, beers and wines. The closest parking lot charges $4 an hour. There's limited street parking. This place wasn't anything special, but a solid option for happy hour or post-work drinks.

The Lab Gastropub is a loud, noisy spot; these facts aren't a secret because of it's proximity to USC. Tip: The venue is directly opposite the USC campus The portion sizes here are very generous, and the food is pretty darn good - put a couple of beers next to some of their food and it tastes even better ;) Prices are fairly reasonable, and the service is prompt and friendly.

Cool spot to go to before or after a USC game . The Galen center is directly next door. Parking lot available across the street. Friendly staff!

My take on this for those thinking good place before USC football game. If you come early you are good. However even ar 3 hours before a game on Friday night it was crowded. All seating was taken and my son and I just got lucky to squeeze in with a group. So for a relaxing time before game...plan to get there like 4 hours before but then you need to keep buying drinks and food. The food was surprisingly good for the chicken and burger sandwiches. Skip the spinach dip. The pita chips were soggy. Tvs for sports environment, not as many as people say there are. Especially if you are outside.

Terrible experience. Came to the Mens Basketball Game. Got charged $39 for two 805 beers. They said "service charge" is included. Beers were $12 each, math was not mathing. I tried to get an explanation about charges and they were all rude and disrespectful. Never coming back ever again. #TRASH

A pretty solid bar located RIGHT across the street from USC's campus with a pretty affordable happy hour and hefty portions of food! You order at the bar and can take your number wherever, including the nice outside patio that they have. It's located a convenient walking distance and a great place to grab a drink after class! I got the coco piña daquiri and it was really tasty -- they mix strong drinks so you're getting your money's worth! I also got the mac and cheese, which was a large portion size, and also the perfect amount of spicy. It had breadcrumbs on top and was really great!

I came here with my friend after a USC basketball game at the Galen Center. I'm sure they get a lot of foot traffic being at such a prime location. The staff was very friendly and I liked the layout of the seating. That lab burger was unreal. I was disappointed with the moscow mule (watery), but that burger was dynamite. My friend got the alligator sausage, which was good, but I'm glad I got the burger.

    Great michelada!!!

Cafeteria quality and badly understaffed/overpriced. Sad. Skip waiting 45 minutes for burgers/chicken sandwich/fries. Ugh!

It's conveniently located to the LA Convention Center, Crytpo.com arena, and LA Live which makes it a must visit before or after an event! I am obsessed with their happy hour, which offers healthy items at discounted prices with generous portions! I have been here so many times throughout the years but most recently found myself here during a busy World Cup match! Regardless, the service and quality of food was not sacrificed! I was greeted as soon as I got there and the bartenders were overwhelmed but still friendly and helpful. I was so tempted to get a margarita, since theirs are amazing, but decided to keep it dry and just get their vegan nachos. I was able to score a table outside on their lovely patio, which felt secluded enough from the main street. My food was brought out quicker than I thought and I was delighted, as I was famished! The vegan nachos here are fantastic and the happy price is only $10, which is a steal for what you get! They are costed in the most magical concoction of a bean puree, cashew cheese sauce, and guacamole which all have the most creamy, luscious and savory flavors. It's so hearty and well seasoned and not only filling, but you feel great after. Parking is pretty easy, as there are usually ample meters available nearby. I cannot wait to return again soon the next time I'm in Downtown LA! I am hoping to try more of their vegan options and next time I will for sure get a drink to go along with their delicious food!

I ordered the Espresso Martini, and it tasted pretty watered down and lacked the bold coffee flavor I was hoping for. On the bright side, the food was definitely the highlight. The mussels were flavorful, the calamari was crispy and cooked well, and the fries were delicious. Those dishes really saved the experience . Overall, I'd come back for the food, but I'd probably steer clear from cocktails and order a real drink. Impact Sports Bar & Grill absolutely hit the spot and packed a punch with a whole lot of flavor! Mouthwatering Veggie Tacos: Vibrant, delicious, flavorful, as well as plentiful! I truly wanted to finish all three, because the flavor was so on point, but I only made it through two veggie tacos! Haha! My friend also enjoyed his sliders! Drink Up: I enjoyed my refreshing pineapple juice, and my friend enjoyed his margarita as well! Customer Service/Vibe: Friendly and attentive, loved our server as we sat at the bar! She was great! The sports bar is pretty big and much nicer than I thought. There are bar seatings, high top tables, booths, and tables. We opted in and sat at the bar. The service was good and bartenders were friendly. I believe our bartender is fairly new, she had a bit of trouble on working the ordering/bill terminal. She wasn't familiar with the menu when we asked her questions about it. There is a decent selection of beer on taps, wine, liquor, margaritas on tap. The food menu is not extensive but a decent appetizer selection. We ordered the Versus wings (I think there were 14 chicken wings) which are served in split 2 different flavor sauces. The spicy bulgogi sauce & an Aji-like sauce with parmesan cheese. The wings were juicy, tender, and big. Not those janky tiny little wings. It's worth the money you pay for at a sporting event. I'm so glad they have these unique flavors coz I don't care for buffalo wings. We also ordered the pork belly confit tacos, they were really good. I am pretty impressed with the fusion food menu. I didn't expect the food to be that good , arena food is usually mehhhh. I assumed they might've hired a new chef with a new menu. Come check out this bar and grab some food if you don't want arena food. For the money you pay for in the arena, might as well get appetizers here. Come give them a try!

When I arrived, there were only about 15-20 people ahead of me in line. As the afternoon progressed, the line stretched down the street, yet no staff member came outside to communicate capacity limits, seating availability, or where the line should reasonably end. Even more concerning, patrons were not admitted until after the match had already started. The situation quickly became chaotic. People who had waited for hours were understandably frustrated, and many were openly voicing their concerns. Groups were admitted one at a time, creating further delays. When it was finally my turn to enter, I was informed that all tables had been taken and that only standing room remained. I was allowed to look inside before deciding whether to stay. What I observed was particularly disappointing: many individuals who had not been ahead of me in line were already seated at tables. I have no idea how they got in but I suspect they were allowed in through some other entrance. After waiting more than two hours based on the information provided by the establishment, this felt unfair and misleading. Most disappointing was having invited friends to join me for the match, only to have the experience ruined by what appeared to be poor planning and inadequate crowd management. The demand for a major World Cup match should not have come as a surprise. If the venue anticipated significant attendance, additional seating, staffing, and clear communication should have been put in place. This was one of the most poorly managed event experiences I have encountered. At a minimum, I believe the ownership should publicly acknowledge what occurred and apologize to the many customers who invested hours of their time only to be left without the accommodations they were promised. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

My friend and I split the love bug and it was disappointing. It tasted fruity, but watered down and it felt like there was barely an alcohol in it. I also tasted my other friends' drinks which were also not good. The raspberry beret and the peach paloma were both bitter and not pleasant tasting.   For food, the only decent thing was the buldak. It was cheesy and I liked how they infused the corn cheese into it. The chicken was good and juicy. The tteokkbokki was weird. Firstly, they didn't include the parmesan crisps as they mentioned in the menu. Secondly, the sauce was different compared to other tteokkbokki sauces I'm used to. It was dark red in color, soupy, and oily which I did not like. Thirdly, the rice and fish cakes themselves were very unique in shape. The cakes and sausages weren't that bad and the textures were good, but the sauce was just not it.  Lastly, the ramen was such a scam. For $15, it was just regular shin ramyeon with some mussels, jalapenos and peppers added. For all the food dishes, the portions were all small relative to the price and were not great for sharing in big groups.   The interior was spacious and vibes were decent. The music from the DJ booth was good. The photobooth wasn't working when we visited which was a minus because my friends and I like the photobooths. There's a free and private parking lot next to the pocha which can get filled.   Overall, not the greatest experience at this pocha mostly because of the food and drinks and I would probably not visit again.
