Special 14oz Ribeye Steak with mushrooms.

We went for dinner and it was beyond our expectations. We started with the garlic bread and it's so good! The garlic is roasted perfectly and I really like it. My husband ordered the special of the day, steak with mashed potatoes, he didn't leave a trace. I ordered the salmon salad with mandarins and caramelized pecans, chef's kiss. Our waiter was attentive and nice. We'll be back soon !

Went there for New Years Eve and was simply amazing. Server was always present and food was amazing. I could just eat the village bread as a meal. The filet Palermo was the best steak I ever had. Topped off with the tiramisu.

Other than the bread (which is pricey in my opinion,) however it was excellent. The salad was just a mixed green salad with nothing else in it. Entrees where absolutely terrible. The Bruceluna was so dried out it was not edible. the side of pasta was very small and swimming in water with red gravy that looked like tomato sauce. my wife got the Fish Almadine and was also terrible, she left it on the plate. The other people with us who had been here before were astonished at how bad the food was. As for the ambiance we were stuck in a room with two tables that appeared to be a back hallway with a make shift wall at the end of the table that shook the whole time we were there. I don't understand how people frequent this place.

The ambiance of the place is amazing. A great little date night place. My server Aaron was great, he very attentive and was able to give recommendations. We started off with the half loaf of garlic bread. It was very fresh and topped with Parmesan cheese. For entrees: I received the seafood stuffed fish the fish was redfish and it was cooked perfectly with a side of sweet potato mashed. One of friends elected the to get the Louisiana Seafood Medley pasta and it was the star dish of the night. The cream of pasta was very flavorful. My other friend elected the village meatball and spaghetti. The pasta sauce need a little more salt and pepper but the meatball was delicious. For dessert the tiramisu and strawberry cheesecake was both delicious. The lemon drop martini and Bellini were great as well. I'm looking forward to coming back to try new dishes.

The food was decent for the price but you can tell they are being skimpy on the quantity you get.

What is the dress code? Can I wear jeans and a nice shirt?

Yes that would be nice. You do not have to get all dressed up, it is casual dress.

We were visiting Baton Rouge and looking for a new place to try. I looked on TikTok, yelp, and…read moregoogle and this place had good reviews so we decided to go. When we pulled up, we realized the parking lot was full( it's a shared parking lot), but we were able to find a spot. There was only one other family dining in when we arrived, so there were a lot of empty tables and our waitress sat us right by the bathroom and the storage area which I didn't appreciate. When going to a restaurant no one wants to look at your storage area. I think they need to put a curtain up or something to cover all the supplies because it isn't aesthetically pleasing. On to the food and drinks. Our waitress started us off with some water, but my mom and I didn't drink it because my dad said it was nasty( you know certain areas tap water may taste/ smell funny and I don't blame the restaurant for that it's more of a city issue). I ordered a pink lemonade and my parents had Arnold palmers. I ordered the Fried chicken Orleans, my mom had the hamburger steak, and my dad had the mornay. All the meals came with a breadstick. My food and my dad's food was covered in sauce. He had fish but you couldn't even see it because of how much sauce was on it. They could definitely cut back on the sauce and maybe not pour so much on top of the protein. For me, it made the batter on my chicken get soggy quick. Flavor of the food was ok, but it could've used more seasoning and the sauce could've been thinner (it was pretty thick). My dad felt like his fish was overcooked and could've been seasoned more. My mom enjoyed her hamburger steak and didn't have any complaints. All of our veggies were cooked well. Prices were fine. Overall this place is just ok to me, I don't have to go back.

The pot roast tasted like grandma's cooking, the tuna was so fresh and flavorful, and all of our veggies were buttery and delicious. 10/10 meal for us! Do not skip the Mississippi mud pie!

We started out with an order of loaded fries and teas. Fries came quick and was plenty for two males who aren't afraid to eat. We didn't finish them. Loaded with cheese, bacon bits, ranch, HT special sauce and bacon bits. The tea was fresh made and was delicious. I had a burger/melt which had a 1/4 patty, grilled shrimp, grilled onions, sauce and cheese. It was big and piping hot when brought to the table with a side of cole slaw. Buddy had the crab patty burger. It was decent size with grilled veggies on the side. All food was phenomenal. He had been there before for drinks and remarked the atmosphere in the evenings is lively and the drinks at the bar are really good.

The ambience is amazing and our waitress was also very informal and patient with us we knew we wanted to try the crawfish because we heard so many good things about it but at the same time we weren't sure because we're very picky about crawfish anyways I give the crawfish a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back very soon! They were seasoned to perfect perfection, juicy big and not hard at all. For my drink, I tried the frozen rum punch and it was also a 10 out of 10 it was very fruity, but not overpowering. Definitely hit the spot with my boiled crawfish.

My husband had the blue crab gnocchi which he devoured. We fly into town for family often and are excited to make this a regular stop for us. We had our 5 year old with us who fell asleep on the way to the restaurant. They were very considerate and placed us in a booth so she could sleep. The ambiance was nice and quiet, with dim lighting for a more intimate vibe. For appetizers, we ordered the crabmeat cheesecake and calamari. Both were good, but the crabmeat cheesecake was AMAZING! I think the sauce for the calamari could use some improvements as it tasted a little too light for pairing. They offered complimentary bread service, and the olive oil/ balsamic mixture had tons of freshly grated cheese which tasted amazing compared to other places. For drinks, we both got bloody mary's, but mine was so stiff that it tasted like a double compared to my partner's.. They also didn't do the spiced rim and were out of pickled green beans. The drink experience was quite disappointing overall, so my partner finished it for me, and he agreed mine tasted like straight up alcohol. We decided on the 16 oz. ribeye and Rufino's bolognese for our mains, and upon arrival, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to see that they served the bolognese with rigatoni instead of tagliatelle. The pasta was also served warm, not hot like the roasted potatoes which was weird. Looking back at the menu, I regretfully did not read the entire description because it's bolognese and I expected the traditional pasta to be used in it. The pasta sauce was still delicious as well as the steak, but the roasted potatoes tasted so strongly of peanuts so I wasn't a fan at all. We noticed that they offered complimentary cotton candy for dessert, but we decided to splurge on the crème brûlée and it was so yummy! Overall, I would come back, but I would not get the calamari or the bolognese again. The service was friendly while still keeping things professional, but it definitely slowed down a lot once we received our entrees.
