Grilled Cheese - Seriously a MUST order. My picture doesn't even come close to doing it justice. So so good! Shrimp & Chorizo Tacos - We've loved these for years! They took them off the menu for a while and we're so glad they're back because they're sooo good. Burger - 10/10. Juicy, cooked perfectly, and really flavorful lots of fresh ingredients. Ceviche - A little on the small side, but super fresh and great flavor :) The location is right on the beach with ocean views and that makes everything better We had a group of 7 and our server was awesome. She was really sweet, kept checking in on us, and made everything easy even with a bigger group. If you're in Laguna and looking for a spot with good food, great views, and a chill vibe, The Deck is always a great choice. There's so many options and haven't had a bad dish here ever. I didn't order them this Time but we normally get the dozen oysters and they are delicious too

No more ciopino so we ordered the ahi poke. Was good. This place is set to close September 7, 2026 to make room for the new hotel setup. So sad to see this place close down as the location and vibe was so nice! Food was ok. Not the best, but okay. And they had a bar too! Byeeee if we don't meet again and thank you!

We stopped in for lunch and had such a great experience from start to finish. My husband ordered the Surfin' Cowboy with fries and pepper jack cheese, while my son and I shared the mahi-mahi fish tacos with sweet potato fries. I also had a cup of the clam chowder, and everything was excellent! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My husband also enjoyed a Laguna IPA. Of course, the views are what really make this place special. The restaurant sits right above the Pacific Ocean, and the views were absolutely spectacular. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing lunch while enjoying the beauty of Laguna Beach. Our server, Peter, was also wonderful. He was welcoming, very nice, and informative with suggesting menu items and he made us feel right at home. Great food, beautiful views, and excellent service...what more could you ask for! We would definitely come back the next time we're in Laguna Beach!

We brought our toddler son with us, and Crews was incredibly accommodating and friendly. He even brought him a stuffed animal, which was such a thoughtful touch! Despite how busy he was, Crews was hustling the entire time, taking great care of all his tables while still continuously checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Now on to the food. We had the kampachi, risotto, and yellowtail, and everything was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend Harvest, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion. They also had free blankets upon request since we got a bit cold. Overall I would say service was a tiny bit slow but they were pretty busy on a Friday night Smoked baba ganoush: 2/5 this was just ok none of us really loved it Hot honey glazed carrots: 1.5/5 the carrots seemed like they were just boiled and had honey drizzled on top. Maybe my bad for misinterpreting the menu but I was expecting a honey glaze on roasted carrots which is definitely not what we got Grilled bone-in pork chop: 5/5 this was super good and made up for the appetizers. I was getting a little impatient by the time this came out so I'm glad this didn't disappoint My cousin got the crispy fried jidori half chicken which she didn't like because she was expecting a grilled chicken but I thought the chicken was really good. Def a bit heavy of a meal overall though and there were way more hush puppies than I would ever want to eat in one sitting

I am a regular customer of Nick's on 2nd in Long Beach. Because both locations are part of the same…read morecompany, I expected the same level of respectful, cordial, and attentive service at the Laguna Beach location. Unfortunately, that was not my experience tonight. The issue began with an espresso martini that I regularly order at the Long Beach location, in which they add a bit of chocolate of some sort. It tasted like a regular espresso martini. Espresso martini is a regular item on the menu. I explained that the drink did not taste good at all, and I was offered another drink. It was weird that they never picked up the drink after even asking people to remove it, they did not. When the bill came, I had to go find someone to take off the drink, which was barely tasted because it wasn't even good, so we could catch the shuttle bus on time to head back to the hotel. I found the manager, and he was vague, saying this phrase of "no guarantee." There was no verbal warning about this, and so it was a shock to me. I felt confused and decided I did not need to be stressed about someone not wanting to listen to me or make me feel like my concern was not legitimate. What concerned me most was that, rather than directly addressing the issue and explaining the policy to me, the situation seemed to be handled in a way that left me having to pursue a resolution myself. For a paying customer, that was extremely disappointing and unnecessary. I also learned from my waiter at the end of the evening that the manager had instructed him to leave the drink on the table. I had not previously been aware of this instruction. But now it makes sense. Learning that the manager had specifically instructed my waiter to leave the drink there was particularly concerning to me because it appeared to place my waiter in the middle of an issue that wasn't his to bear. It is sad that the manager used his position to direct an employee to carry out an instruction that contributed to a ruined evening. I do not understand why a paying customer would be treated this way, particularly when the issue could have been resolved through a simple and respectful explanation and initiative. I regularly visit Nick's on 2nd and have always HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE!! Food is always good, but if you want better customer service, go to the Long Beach location.
