Forever blacklisted! I was wondering why a buffet was so empty on a Friday night.. unfortunately now I get it. Didn't have high expectations going in, but also didn't think the food would be so terrible. There are plenty of options, but everything was bland or sitting in a pool of grease. Sushi rolls were actually alright, sashimi very grainy in texture, and raw oysters were so fishy! The raw meat at the build-your-own stir fry station was sitting out and not kept on ice or anything. It's like they're trying to make people sick. As if the food wasn't already bad enough to keep me from returning, my boyfriend and I both got terrible food poisoning after dining here. The food is just ok and when we checked out they did not want to give a receipt. When I pressed them for one they acted very nervous, which made me suspicious. So I kept insisting. $40.00 isnt worth it, totally overpriced. the lobster was dry, gummy and salty, looks like frozen for so long. the steak tastes good but the guy serving was incredibly rude the clams are not the best, theyre just fine the lobster soup was really good the bokchoi was good the cooked oyster was the best the cold seafoods was bland, specially the little seashell there and a slice of tuna was bland, they must do better on that area, put the corresponding sauce next to food so the customer has idea instead of guessing which sauce fits which food, bad bad style they have sriracha though which you can but at any grocery, very lazy, why cant they cook their own sauce? if your capacity to eat is little, its a waste of money if you just want to spend big just to get a quality good taste this is not the place, but if you have big tummy that can accomodate anything you put in, this may do just fine and may worth your 40 bucks chow! read more

2 stars at best. I've been here multiple times, which is why I brought my family visiting from out of town -- and it was honestly embarrassing. For the dinner price, there's no excuse for almost all the food to be cold. I know the crab is served cold, but it didn't seem fresh and the shells just bent instead of cracking. My family has been coming to The Luxe Buffet for many years now. We just recently went last weekend for dinner and it's as good as I remember. The selection of different food options is pretty good, ranging from salad to fruit to sushi to dim sum to cooked dishes. I usually enjoy a little bit of everything and like to get multiple helpings of the lobster. It was a little dry this last time I tried it but for the buffet price, I think it's well worth it! The food was average for a buffet. Everything was clean even the plates, lol. Service, I would expect service like this from a lower end buffet. Definitely not on a $35 buffet. I eat buffets every once in a while, to be honest I was a little surprised when she said $35 something. Price to service and food quality is very bad. The food here is subpar to other cheaper Buffets and the selection is very minimal. The Brazilian meat station is just sausage and some very bad cut of sirloin that is tough, dry, and weird tasting. Everything else including the sushi Dim sum and some of the traditional buffet items are very bland, cold, and overall very low quality. I would not spend the money they ask for this place. Skip this place! When it first opened and even a few months ago it was good/decent but we went yesterday and just no. I'm sure I got sick eating the food cause that's all I had in the evening. First we spent $228 for 5 people for the food to be mediocre and not good at all. I think the only decent things were the coconut shrimp and rice, not even the Choi mein was good. I'll keep it short: Luxe Buffet felt like a low-budget take on Chinese buffet fare. At nearly $40 per person, I wasn't expecting a Vegas level Bacchanal experience, but I did expect more. While the lobster was abundant, each piece was barely larger than a shrimp, and the crab legs were disappointingly small. On the upside, the food stations were kept fresh and well-stocked, and our waitress was excellent, attentive, friendly, and quick with drink refills. I took my family yesterday,interior is nice and quiet, server for our table was attentive and nice. One thing my family would gripe about was the food quality, if you LOVE shellfish like crabs,shrimp and lobster..well you will make your money worth here. Sushi I order is usually cold from other places..they serve room temp sushi and that made me not enjoy the sushi bar...Mongolian cook station was slow and burned/drowned your food in butter which made our noodles inedible. Other customers around our table even said the same about that noodle station lol. It was a place worthy of a 1 time go, it is pricey as heck, 45$ per person BUT if you love seafood you will make your money worth here. Minimal selection. No one was out manning the different stations. The food was all cold except the mashed potatoes. The steak section had old meat that was tough and just sitting. We had to wait for the guy to notice us standing there for him to come out and cut up the cold steak. Very few food options. The bus ppl are quick at clearing away food though. The worst buffet I've ever been to. Not only is the food COLD, the protein was spoiled and is still being served to customers. When we walked in, someone was complaining about the sushi, the employee tried it and said it was ok, but when we tried it, it definitely wasn't! First we find hair in my plate, not once, but twice. And they are only giving us only 10% comp for our troubles. Our server was good, but overall service was a bad experience. came around July for dinner on a weekday. Not sure why anyone says this place is good! There were not many food options compared to other buffets (Shiki Buffet in Rosemead). A lot of the food were stale and barely warm as well. Place did not give off clean vibes, everything seemed and WAS dirty. Almost all the plates I grabbed and saw were still dirty. Our utensils still had dried food on it. The crab legs were cold, small, and they all had the black spots on them. I know the black spots does not affect taste however it does NOT look APPEALING or APPETIZING. It's rare for me to drive all the way to the Inland Empire for a dining experience, but this place is a favorite of my uncle and aunt. It served as the venue for our reunion. Known as the best and largest buffet in the Inland Empire, it offered a vast selection of seafood for a weekend dinner, including lobster, crab meat, various flavorful fish, crawfish, and more. Even just one of each item would fill you up. I particularly enjoyed their fresh shark fin soup, lobster, and fish. They also had some sushi selections, as well as desserts with fruits and cakes. VERY EXPENSIVE !!! NOT LUXE I have been to the luxe before in its very first grand opening I am surprised at how quickly this place has changed and not in a good way unfortunately. Before the lobby use to be very welcoming my family and I walked into to complete silence and looks to just having a lady take us to our table quickly before even being able to pull our chairs we were abruptly asked for our drinks. The food selection has pretty much stayed the same for years when coming to dinner the desert bar is just cheap now from once having an ice cream bar to now giving cheap paper cup ice creams the food was also not good 2/10 to be fair I enjoyed the fruit and the steam string beans but other than that it taste very old took them a while to replace the items with fresher dishes and even than just tasted all the same The food when I arrived was yet still there when I was leaving an hour and a half later it was not stirred or checked on the temperature of our food was also a bit alerting temperatures were low resulting in our food being cold The seafood tasted rancid along with the butter dispenser they had I did notify them about the foul smell for them to not even care to check this issue The only person who was nice and greeted us was the man cleaning our table before we left The dinning room is not checked on either often we didn't get drink refills till we were leaving and only got 2 drinks refilled My family and I were completely upset with the visit to the buffet regretting the decision to have even came to eat there today........... we will no longer recommend or return to this place read more
