I dropped by last night and grabbed some soup from these lovely businesses owners in my neighborhood. I forgot which one, but it had potatoes and carrots and leaks. It was delicious! My dog, 2pac, refused his supper and begged to share, so he enjoyed some carrots and potatoes. Wow! Incredible flavor and now I am craving more. Delicious! I can't wait to try more flavors and combinations.

They have gluten free pitas for gyros, and gluten free pizzas, aka flat breads, but they're actually thick crust! First thick crust GF pizza I've ever found in the Sacramento area! It was very good :)

Cute little shop but the food was nothing to write home about. The gyro bread was soft and warm, that was the highlight of the lamb/beef gyro. Service was friendly.

Great food! Great vibes and great company! Highly recommend!

Great food, drinks and company! Every time I come in I am greeted like family! They also have a cute little doggie Sancho :)

Another incredible meal at the market. They never disappoint. I was going for the biscuits and gravy and was pointed to their Chicken and biscuit. My god!!!!!!! I need more of this in my life. Absolutely amazing food!!! Everyone should visit here. The owners are some of the best people and the environment is what every business should strive for.

My Dalmatians enjoying The Market on Main. Dog friendly and even offer some water. Very nice while enjoying the delicious food!

Yay! Our new favorite lunch place on Main Street!…read more We just stopped by last weekend, we've been wanting to try this place out but it just hadn't happened.... Last Monday we decided to have lunch there, one of our regular places is closed Mondays and this place was open so we checked it out...and we're SO SO glad we did! Atmosphere was nice and server was very friendly from the moment we walked in. First thing I noticed; $5 mimosas!! I asked if they did anything other than orange juice and yes, they had several other options so I had the cranberry version. Delicious! I went with their mac and cheese, my partner got the basic hamburger. Mac and Cheese -- definitely very bacon forward, much more than I prefer. That being said, I still liked it, it also had sour cream and green onion on top. Bacon lovers will LOOOVE this version, there is LOTS of it and every bite you can taste it. Normally I prefer my mac & cheese with no bacon or just a bit here and there, I prefer to taste more of the cheeses.....again, it still tasted good, its a good serving and I ate half and had enough to save for the next day at work. Creamy and well made, again I just prefer to taste more cheese than bacon. I wouldn't order this again but like I said, a bacon lover will LOVE this version. Now, my partner's burger was Incredible. We are PICKY with our burgers, and we both thought this one was fantastic. Big, and great ratio to the bun. He ordered it medium and asked for "a little char" and they made it perfectly. I took a bite and yeah, I'd order that for sure. The fries were great, too. Overall we were super happy with our lunch, I thought it was priced fairly as well. We will definitely be back!!

The pitfalls of the restaurant seem to be entirely the service. Most recently we went to Franny's on Mother's Day. We had reservations and walked in, on time. We were initially sat in a nice booth in the front of the restaurant. It was my wife and I plus our 2 kids, the table size seemed appropriate. After being sat, we sat without talking to a server for 10+ minutes, not even getting waters. Eventually, when someone did come, it was a waitress/hostess telling us that there had been a mix up, and we needed to move. We weren't excited on the idea, as we were happy where we were, but we moved to the back of the restaurant. This time we sat for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any wait staff. At this point it is 9:25 and we've been seated for 25 minutes without even water. Finally a waitress comes, and takes our drink order, and our food order as we'd definitely had ample time to look over the menu. About 9:50 the food arrives. My wife and kids' food comes and is great. My food comes and looks off, and the waitress tells me that the kitchen accidentally made me a "veggie" scramble instead of the chorizo that I had ordered, but that she'd get me some bacon and all was well. I asked what was in the veggie scramble and was told it has mushrooms, which is a hard pass for me. She told me she could have what I had actually ordered made but it would "take a long time". I said O.K. - what else was I going to do? Finally it comes, and my wife is done eating, and the kids are close, so, I asked for it to be "boxed up". The waitress rolled her eyes and set to the task. I'm not a restaurant snob - but I really expected an apology or something to be "comp'd" due to the rough experience, but nope, full bill and no apology. Regrettably, despite Franny's being a local joint and having good food, we won't be back.

Sorry, there's a bite from my 'sammach, but it highlights the delicious ingredients tucked inside so well. The 6-inch was the perfect size and filled this guy up really well. The bread was good and the filling was in a good proportion, so the sandwich gets a solid 5-Stars! The only downside was the wait and the cost. Ya' know, a 6-inch sandwich, pickle, drink and tiny bag O' chips for $13.14 seems a few bucks too high, but maybe I'm old, cranky and still love my beautiful wife's sandwiches better and, at $2.19 an inch... I mean, SOME things are worth more per inch (according to my wife)... but a sandwich?? I digress... But, will we be back? Yes, I believe we will and that it was good enough for seconds another time.

When visiting Reno, I highly encourage anyone that is looking for a delightful and relaxing lunch…read morespot to definitely check out "Süp". Located directly on S. Virginia St and adjacent to St. Lawrence Ave in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood of Reno, Süp has served up delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads, and soups dating back to 2007. This place has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally got to experience what it was all about. Since this is in a fairly busy commercial part of town, it can be a bit tricky to find parking. However, we were able to park only a block away and this was during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 12:15pm. After making the short way to the business, I absolutely loved the exterior aesthetics and layout were represented. The business itself mimics a house complete with a large front patio area that actually snakes around to the side of the house for the more comfortable Reno days. The wooden tables with plastic chairs and covered tents to shield off the sun were a very nice touch. The inside also offers very generous indoor seating complete with ample space for a single person, a couple, or a family. Their menu are digitally presented on LED TVs complete with some of their specials that are handwritten on a chalkboard. My lady and I both decided to order sandwiches to get our fuel and energy for the day. I went with their "Char-Grilled Steak Baguette"; this came complete with their bistro steak drizzled with chimichurri sauce and topped with caramelized onions, New York white cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese and served on a cheddar poppy seed baguette. My lady went with their "Reno Deli"; this offered salami, pepperoncini & pesto layered with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and aioli on toasted sourdough bread. Both of our sandwiches came with a side house salad. Once given our number (we got Tahoe St), we decided to sit outside and take full advantage of the weather (as it was a perfect 78°F). What I particularly like is that the ambiance is the perfect vibe for daydreaming, people watching, and enjoying the simplicity that a city like Reno offers. Both our sandwiches arrived in roughly 10 minutes and were presented on white porcelain plates. My sandwich was made to perfection as the cheddar baguette securely held the fillings quite nicely. There was a lot of seasoned steak as the other sauces were not too overpowering. And considering the size of this, it got me quite full as I wasn't hungry until much later in the day. I will say that if you're looking for a reputable small business that offers healthy fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, amazing ambiance in a very desirable area of Reno, I highly recommend giving "Süp" a try. Their selection of salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soups are all wonderful choices as they focus on farm-fresh ingredients. And if time allows, I highly encourage everyone to eat here as I felt right at home during my 45-minute stay. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday but are open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. With that said and done, I am giving Süp a perfect five-star review.

Tried the loaded baked potato, chicken tortilla, clam chowder, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The soups were great - no complaints. My least favorite was the clam chowder, it was a bit peppery for my liking but still good. They're not the best I've ever had, but super satisfying and I'll definitely be back to try more! The grilled cheese was the surprise winner of it all. Cheddar on sourdough - simple but amongst the best I've ever had. It didn't need all the extra fancy stuff, I liked it simple. Nice strong cheddar flavor on a yummy bread :). Prices were reasonable considering inflation . $5.75 I think for a cup, $10.50 for a bowl and $13.50 for a bread bowl. I should've asked the price of the flight because I definitely want to try that. The bread bowl filled me up for lunch, but idk that the soup alone would have. There is usually no staff at the register to take orders. But at times, I do ask the staff to take my order because the in house discounts aren't listed on the kiosk options. The last time I dined here, they had a posted offer of a free pastry with a purchase of a combo meal. The staff that helped me order at the register was unfamiliar with the register functions. I suppose that happens when cashiering is no longer a major job task. But she didn't know which pastries were included in the offer or how to enter the offer. Eventually she triumphed. I bemoaned Panera's retirement of their Napa almond chicken salad sandwich, turkey chili, and steak and white cheddar sandwich from their menu. But they still have the Greek salad; it's fantastic. The Harvest Medley Chicken salad is a new favorite of mine. Fresh tasting and looking ingredients having the crunch factor. Plus I'm luvin their iced tea options. The papaya iced tea, pomegranate hibiscus, regular iced tea, and agave lemonade are delicious and better yet... no HFCS. Great option versus the HFCS fountain drinks. Both the sodas and teas are self serve, free refills for dine in folks. Panera's is in the Palladio shopping center. To get to the shop is bit unconventional. There is a multi-story parking garage right next to the Panera's. That's the closest parking option. They have two entries into the shop.
