Got the spicy chicken sandwich and fajita Mac. Spicy chicken was delicious but could use more of that spicy sauce. Wasn't enough. It was missing the flavor with most bites. The Mac was okay. Pulled up to Melt in the Palladio to meet a friend who works nearby--she sent that "I need food" text and I took it as a mission. Parking here is abundant, which already puts you in a good mood because nothing kills a craving faster than circling a lot like you're in a scavenger hunt. Walked in and that grilled cheese smell hit immediately... any thought of eating light was gone just like that. The place felt clean, relaxed, no weird chaos, just people in there enjoying what they came for. Now the food... yeah this isn't that basic grilled cheese from back in the day, this is the grown version that shows up with confidence. I went with a double spicy mushroom melt lettuce wrap with a fried egg and a mini Mac on the side... yeah I made a decision and stood on it. Crispy, cheesy, a little messy in the best way, and that fried egg just took it to another level. Every bite had me pausing for a second like hold on... let me respect this. I'm sitting across from my friend trying to keep a conversation going but also fully focused on not missing a single bite. Portions don't mess around either, you're leaving full and already thinking about what you're getting next time. And then there's Vic... super polite, welcoming, just good people. He wasn't just behind the counter, he was moving around, checking on folks, asking how everything was, even offering cookies which caught me off guard in the best way. It didn't feel forced, it felt real, like he actually cares about the experience people are having. Everyone that walked in got that same energy. And I'll be honest, I never write reviews on the spot--I go home, sit down at my computer, and give it that extra flavor I like putting into my reviews... but this one? I was already running it back in my head before I even left the parking lot. Melt didn't just come through on the food, they made it feel like more than just a quick stop.

We have not been in this area for a while now and we really enjoyed The Melt our first time here. One of the best burgers and melts we have had. We also loved their design, open air entrance providing a lot of refreshing outside air and breeze. The staff again was very helpful and friendly with their service. Als9 offerr8ng free samples of their chocolate chip cookies. The Double Melt was amazing , cooked perfectly, and so filling. The melts both had an awesome amount of cheese and they were sooooo stretchy. Also cooked and prepared well. The garlic parm fries were loaded with garlic and so tasty, blasting with garlic flavor in each bite. Can't wait to come back to this area soon to have another bite.

First time here though I've wanted to try for some time now. I like the corner space the have in the pilladio that allows for indoor and outdoor seating with a roll up door in between that gives the inside some welcomed fresh air. They have kiosks you can order from. I ordered the spicy burger and hubby ordered the double cheeseburger. We got a soda regular fries and tried the cookie. The burgers were so juicy and flavorful, the bun was a good quality bun. Ingredients tasted and appeared very fresh. THe jalapeños were sliced raw peppers and we so good on it. Hubby enjoyed his double cheeseburger too. They have condiment packets w mayo ketchup and mustard available, but you honestly don't need it at all because the burgers are tasty the way they are! The pickle on the side was delightful, super crunchy and flavorful. The fries had some sort of green seasoning on it, may have been finely chopped dill or parsley I'm not sure but worked well on the fries. The potion was a pleasant surprise too! We shared one and it was plenty for us. The sodas are natural sodas w real sugar! Big plus in my book! I'm not a soda drinker but when I splurge, it's nice to have this available. The ginger beer soda has a strong ginger flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed but hubby didn't care for. The root beer soda was also very tasty. The double chocolate cookie was cooked to perfection and the chocolate pieces were all melted and warm... sooooo good to top off an excellent meal! The spicy burger was 11.99 and the double cheeseburger was 15.99. The fries were 3.99. Last but definitely not least, an employee named Vic came to check on us and was genuine with making sure we were enjoying our meals and making sure we had everything we needed. Simple but thoughtful and sincere engagement makes dining here memorable. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Food is always pretty good, just a bit pricey. The service is okay, can't comment on it too much as you order at a digital kiosk and pick it up at a counter when ready. Inside feels a bit cramped and they must not clean throughly very often as there were a bunch of spiderwebs and spiders directly behind my boyfriend's seat.

OMG this place is . The burger was good and juicy. Unfortunately the bun fell apart before I finished the burger. The garlic fries are to die for I would definitely order the them again. I don't think that I would order a double next time. A single burger is plenty. The service was good and the ambience was cool. It's inside of the Palladio. I'll definitely come back.

My burger came out super quick and Vick was very welcoming to our party of 14. They also let us press the tables together to accommodate for everyone. Very nice very awesome. Would come again.

My daughter and I visited The Melt for the first time, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. Since it was our first visit, we weren't sure what to order, but Jason, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly, patient, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations and willingness to help made the entire experience enjoyable from the moment we walked in. I ordered the Crispy Caesar Salad, and my daughter chose the Classic Cheese Melt with fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the food was prepared perfectly, and the portions were generous. It was clear that quality and customer satisfaction are priorities here. In addition to the great food, the restaurant was clean, inviting, and well-maintained. The level of customer service we received from Jason truly stood out and made our visit memorable. It's not often that you encounter someone who genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for every guest. Thank you, Jason, for your outstanding hospitality and for making our first visit such a wonderful one. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back. Came here for a quick bite the other night. Very cool looking place, trendy, and kept very clean. The grilled cheese was actually pretty decent along with the side of a pickle. Kind of wish they offered a little bit more with a combo, like fries or chips. Maybe they did but this is what we grabbed. I also had a side Cobb salad that was OK. Wasn't anything extraordinary, but I think more of their attention goes into their burgers and sandwiches. The meat in the salad was pretty bland nothing worth bragging about. They have a different brand of sodas there and I thought those are OK. I would recommend this place. Located in the Palladio which is always very nice to walk around it. Customer service was good. We were greeted once we entered and we were acknowledged when leaving.

Went to the aquarium down tjew street and needed something quick before our next animal encounter. We walked in here and were warmly greeted. Lacy helped us out and answered all our questions. The food was ready in a matter of minutes and we had no complaints. The garlic fries used fresh garlic and we loved them with all the sauces they gave us. 10 out of 10 HIGHLY recommend.

This is a solid lunch spot. Good selection of grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers. I had the patty melt and it was cooked medium--just as I ordered it. (They asked if I liked it medium or well done.) I also got the garlic fries and a drink. The garlic fries were greasy but well cooked--a little more done than I like but I think a lot of people would love them. Garlic tasted fresh. And their craft sodas were great--I got the root beer and loved it. Overall this spot is right up my alley--grilled cheese goodness and all the things you would want to go along with it. My only gripe is that the fries and bread were a touch greasy (I know, I know, I'm at a grilled cheese shop). Also I usually don't mention service, but the staff at front taking my order was very nice and she seemed genuinely happy to be there. I will be coming back for sure! read more

Recently, I decided to try The Melt. Upon entering, I was greeted with a clean and well kept dinning area. If you were wondering, there is also an outdoor seating area. The Bathrooms didn't require a code plus they were clean! I ended up ordering a Burger and a shake and it didn't disappoint. We've been wanting to try The Melt for awhile and I'm so glad we finally did. We ordered the Sicilian Chicken sandwich, tomato soup, garlic fries, snickerdoodle shake and the fountain (craft) soda. My husband and I are still trying to find an awesome burger joint and we came across this place. I was craving a juicy burger with the works and my husband was running late from work, so I ordered two burgers and fries and had them delivered to the house on a rainy day. I will be honest and I really don't leave reviews unless it's positive, but we were not the least bit interested in what the beef tasted like. It did lack flavor and did not seem to be seasoned and was very pricey. I believe two burgers and one order of fries came out to $65 before tip when delivered to our house. Maybe next time we can go inside and see what the service and ambiance is like. We will give it another try sometime in the future. read more

Came here one evening after a day in the mountains. Needless to say, I was starving. The Melt has been on my "to-go" list for a while, so I was pretty excited to try it and I was very impressed. Yeah, it's a burger place but the jalepeno-pickle mix and the sauce definitely made the burger stand out. The Mac Daddy was also really good mainly because of that smoked bacon. The Sweet potato fries weren't my favorite but I snuck a few of the garlic Parmesan fries from my boyfriend and I would definitely recommend those instead! I had a double, should have kept it a single. They are massive burgers! I added bacon and caramelized onions to the original melt burger (and a second patty) that made it a $20 burger ($17.98). It was delicious and juicy, just too meaty but that's my fault not theirs. Their sweet potato fries are great too. I didn't get the name of the guy that took our order and checked up on how our meal was but he was super friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. He was friendly w all the guest there. It's a chill place to stop and eat, small, clean, quaint. Definitely will come back and try more menu options. We took a Mac n Cheese to go and it was so cheesy and creamy and good too! read more

Okay people....this is definitely the place to go for that special comfort food...but not just regular grilled cheese and tomato soup....The Melt takes it a few levels UP! Especially this time of year when lots of people are getting sick, this meets and exceeds! Not feeling up to making it yourself...again, The Melt is your go to. The Melt isn't your mom's old rainy-day grilled cheese sandwich. These sandwiches are elevated, with creative ingredients and flavors. My favorite is The Italian Job, which has fontina & provolone cheeses, and mushrooms, melted on garlic bread. So good! They also have meltburgers (which my son loves), chicken sandwiches (which my husband loves), mac n cheese (which my daughter loves), and salads (never tried). All the types of fries are delish, and they have a unique assortment of fountain drinks (including ginger beer). And the milkshakes are perfection. The staff is friendly, the food comes quick, and it's just a cool space. I highly recommend The Melt for a comfort lunch done right. read more

We've been here so many times!!! We both love the food. I love the new chicken sandwich along with the Garlic-Parmesan fries and soda from their fountain. There are several flavors you can choose from. My hubby loves their hamburgers (all of them) and enjoys the sweet potato fries. The service is always awesome! I'm autistic and I didn't leave overstimulated or crying . I was actually so so so happy. Get the goddamn grilled cheese with tomato soup. It is a spiritual awakening, how fucking good this is. Such a great spot in Folsom. If you like cheese, this is the spot to visit! I tried a couple different burgers. Tried their spicy burger and they regular burger and they both were delish! Best hamburger I've had in a very long time. I got the melt and added bacon, if you want more you can add lettuce, tomato, on and on. The burger meat was bigger than the bud. Delicious, I had to save some for tomorrow it was so much!!!! I got the milk shake but knew I couldn't eat it too so I'm saving as well. read more

They are extremely generous here. My total came to $17.53. I had 12.86 on my EDD debit card. I had 6 bucks cash. I tried to do a split payment of 12.53 on the card and $5.00 cash, but my card kept declining and it was not supposed to. Since I had enough on the card to cover the first half of the transaction. I even tried to order on the kiosk and it declined it for $12.69. Even though I had 1286 on the card. The lady at Bank of America told me that somehow they were trying to charge me $15.04 for the one transaction that was $12.69 even though it showed me on the kiosk that that was the after-tax price and not the before tax price. The workers insisted that I had the meal completely for free. I tried to tip them six dollars cash and the lady insisted that I keep my money. I kept insisting that I give them six bucks cash basically I got my entire meal for free. A $17.53 value. I feel very embarrassed but the workers here are so nice. The food continues to be delicious. But this time the guy that was taking our order was so nice. He had a great personality was funny and kind. TERRY was the person who took our order. Any ways they messed my order up my. Just moved to El Dorado and the family wanted to try The Melt to go. Ordered online and the food was ready quickly. I went in to pick up the order and was quickly helped by Lacey. She was very attentive, polite, and generous. i noticed that my wife forgot to add a strawberry shake and Lacey was too generous by offering to make a shake for me and wouldn't take no for an answer and did so with a great attitude, smiles and took extrem pride in her job and making her customers happy. Probably one of the BEST burgers I've had in a very long time! If you're looking to fill your bellies, this is definitely a great spot. If you order a double, make sure you bring your appetite because these burgers are large! Vick was amazing, he provided great service going as far as checking on us while we ate outside and providing samples of their chocolate chip cookies. One thing I can say about this place because they are definitely consistent visit a few months ago. I had a burger this I decided to try a melt classic and they were right on. Had a Sicilian chicken the spice from the garlic butter bread was amazing Chicken layer on my sandwich just right mushrooms have the right amount of garlic and the cheese the cheese lol Every time I come in, I'm greeted very warmly. First of all the restaurant itself is so comforting and clean. I ordered the barbecue bacon burger and the cheddar bacon fries, it was absolutely delicious I have never eaten such good cheddar bacon fries. Brian was the one who was on the register and took our order, he was polite and patient since we didn't know the menu yet. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a gourmet but not an expensive place to eat. read more

My girlfriend tried to bring her dog in. They told her no dogs she started arguing. I told her to stop. These people are just employees start doing with the manager. The owner wants to stop I seen they had milkshakes so I got a strawberry milkshake. Thank you sir for defending the restaurant. We're just employees. Here's a milkshake for free. This spot was on my hit list for a while. I stopped by one day on my way to work and ordered two items, the jalapeño burger and the spicy chicken sandwich. They were both fire The service was fast and accommodating & the ambiance was amazing g being near the fountain across the Barnes & Nobles. It's impossible to walk by and not smell the food. We had dinner at the melt last night for the first time. I had a signature burger that tasted way better than the carl's Jr western bacon. The server she was so friendly and she had the best freckles on her nose. She asked asked if I would like my burger a little pink.
