My daughter ordered the Spicy Mission Meltburger and she said it was awesome! It looked like it came with tomato, lettuce, avocado, jalapeno and a good portion of sliced cheese. It looked absolutely mouthwatering (and I don't eat meat). My daughter also got a snickerdoodle milkshake to wash down the meal. She said it was really good and the perfect combination. I recently started going here again after drunkenly ordering it off of Ubereats. I forgot how good it was! I'm a sucker for bbq so the Bacon BBQ Burger has become my usual here. BTW it tastes amazing with a fried egg. I love that they have milkshakes and soft serve. I'm a big fan of the snickerdoodle milkshake, it tastes just like horchata. Service is fast and great! The girl at the front was manning the register, Dine In and Take Out. I didn't want too long for my food, it was prob 8 minutes. The restaurant is always surprisingly neat and tidy regardless of how busy or packed the store is. And I like the choice of a self serve kiosk and a regular register. On a Friday afternoon, we decided to try The Melt. We are glad that we did. We each had a hamburger. One thing that I really liked was the fact that I could customize each part of my order. My husband had the Classic Meltburger. He opted to leave off the jalapeno peppers and pickles. Even thought it says in the menu description that it isn't spicy, he didn't want to take a chance that his definition of spicy and theirs was different. He enjoyed it very much. I had the Swiss 'N' Shroom Meltburger. It was great the way that it came. It could have been a drop pinker, but it was tasty. I ordered the Fries and asked for 'no salt'. The fries were perfect. The fries were crispy without asking. It was easy and quick to order. They use your phone number to text you when your meal is ready. They have quite a variety on the menu. That's a 33% success rate with no consideration for having to driven back to them. 25-May-2022 Today my wife delivered our baby boy at Jacob's Medical Center in La Jolla, CA and I decided to order from The Melt. I will start my review by saying it was absolutely fantastic! I was looking for the best cheesesteak around and The Melt turned up in my search because they have a sandwich called Steak and Cheese. I ordered: 1. Steak and Cheese 2. Parmesan fries 3. Cookies & Cream milk shake 4. Coke soda I ordered through Yelp and was told it would take an hour. My food arrived in about 40 minutes. It was packaged well with staples for security, it was warm and each item was in its own container to maintain the presentation and taste. If you want some delicious food that will blow your mind please try The Melt. The cookies and cream milk shake was awesome too. I think they use their vanilla bean ice cream, which is amazing! I am very happy with this restaurant and although it was my first time trying it I know it will not be my last. I've already shared my picture and experience with my family, so they can try it.
