Terrible first and hopefully last visit. Family and I are in the neighborhood this weekend for my son's basketball tournament and we decided to stop by Jersey Mike's since we usually enjoy that where we live. But I'll hear in the country. The customer service is terrible. Dislocation for starters was under demand and on top of that I think the two kids they had on shift today would much rather had been at the beach. Food was good which is always able to be count on. So the one star is for that. But hopefully we won't return and if we do, we'll have different employees serving us. read more

This location has excellent service, and the employees are always friendly and accommodating. This location is busy, and the parking lot is always packed from Trader Joe's. My go-to order is the Club Sub, Mike's Way, with extra bacon! The sandwich is crunchy from the bacon and onions and has a blast of flavor in Mike's Way. This sandwich always hits different, and I love eating here before a big day. The only downside of getting Mike's Way is that you have to eat it right away, or else it gets soggy; it's already messy how it is. I would not recommend dining in here; there's not enough table space, and you don't have privacy because the line is right next to all the tables. read more

Ordered #13 Original Italian reg size for $11.65 no tax. Piled high with meat, lettuce and tomato. Staff members were friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was clean and had a few tables to sit at inside and outside the shop. Tried this place for the first time and wasn't impressed. The shop was kind of messy even though I was the only customer there. (Some workers on break, others making sandos) but no one had time to wipe tables, push in chairs, clean up trash from drink station. I mention it because I sat at a table I didn't realize was dirty til I touched it got sticky mystery goo on my hand. Ew! Still I persevered and ordered 2 sandos Mike's way. I saw the lady douse the sando in vinegar - like a whole 3 second pour full force - but figured that's how's it done , til I unwrapped it to eat and had mushy bread soggy from the liquid. Beyond that, flavor wasn't memorable. I got two subs (tuna, and whichever had the prosciutto and provolone) and like it's a sandwhich? Plus service was dulllll. Might try again, though. read more

I've been here before and service wasn't great. Today after a 12 hour shift I decided to give this place another shot, my family owns a great sandwich shop as well. To my surprise the same disgruntled lady who made it last time prepared my 2 kahunas in the back and came to the front throwing everything on so sloppy. She should learn from the gentleman making other sandwiches he had great customer service and appears to have great work ethic. She put one in a box and when I get home we find a pube and a eyelash hair. Is this some type of joke? Are there cameras where she made the sandwiches??? I was walking out of Trader Joe's towards my car when I noticed to my surprise that Jersey Mike's Subs had a sign that they had gluten free bread. As someone with a gluten allergy, I have very limited options in sandwich shops so I was excited to try one out. Cody assisted us and he was very helpful and thorough. He asked right away if it was allergy or preference and when I said allergy, he started to explain that he was going to switch gloves and pointed at the station that is specifically for gluten free prep. I thought that was awesome and reassuring that he shared that without us even asking. Excellent customer service. And the sandwich was amazing! The bread was one of the best gluten free breads I've tried. Usually, the gluten free bread I've had is hard or falls apart easily but the texture of this gf bread was soft and almost as close to regular bread as it can get. Will definitely be going back and adding it to my list of places I can get food from now. read more

Went in to get a sub sandwich and the place was out of bread. So I asked the manager how is this so and I was told that they were busy. My feeling is that you make sandwiches and should never be out of bread. This was my first time going to this location because it was close to my home. I had not been to a Jersey Mike's in a while and was leaving Trader Joe's next door and decided I was craving a sub. I ordered a #5 super sub and the sandwich was good. Fresh bread and a good amount of fillings. I liked the quality of everything except I thought the spritz they splash on the sub was oil and vinegar but it didn't have the acidity I was expecting. That being said I enjoyed it. Also I loved the staff at this location all young and energetic. Just felt like they were having fun at work. I'll be back. read more

Love this location. I always order on the app and walk in to quickly pick up a complete and paid for order. I have also ordered several times 20 sandwiches the day before for curbside pickup. They bring it out to your car on a rolling cart and load it in the trunk. Orders have always been complete and correct. We recently discovered their relish. Order it on the side for no additional charge with any sandwich. You'll love it! read more

I am a big fan of the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's. They freshly slice the meat and cheese right in front of you, the quantity of meat is great, and all the sandwiches come "Mike's Way" which includes spices and an oil and vinegar blend. I love a simple roast beef and provolone sandwich and this is my favorite chain sandwich shop. However, my experience at this location was not as good as others. It seemed like they had too many workers to the point where they were inefficient. There were two people ringing me up on the register as one person was rushing to wrap the sandwiches. I was the only person in the store and by the time I was done being rung up my sandwich had still not been wrapped. As I was walking out, someone came in saying that they had been waiting outside for 20 minutes for their order and I saw the women at the register pull it off a shelf in front of them, so it had been done for a while. For being the only customer in there it sure took me a while to get my sandwich. read more

I have been a frequent customer of Jersey Mikes since it opened the location by the traffic circle in Long Beach. So today I ordered two sandwiches. Ones was a Philly cheesesteak and the other was club supreme. I got to say had multiple problems. By my mistake I thought I was ordering from my normal spot but there app said that this one was closer and I thought I had it pre saved for preferably location. That's on me. So I go to pick up the food since it said it will be ready at a specific time. I get to the location three minutes before my food was to be ready. I go inside and someone greeted me and asked if I had a pick up order. I said yes and said who I was and she goes. Give us five more minutes because we are waiting on bread to come out of the oven. Ok that makes sense, so I go outside and go to chill in my car till it's ready. I waited seven minutes and was thinking ok I gave them the five minutes they requested. Go back inside and the young lady that greeted me before was on the phone. The shift lead was cooking cheese steak on a griddle and they had another lady helping the customers. In the meantime this lady must of been new because she was confused reading tickets and the customer she was helping was apologizing for making it hard on her for having to read the ticket so he tells he what toppings he wanted and he asked can I add provolone cheese cans she said hold on. Walked over the the person cooking the cheese steak and asked if she can add cheese. The lady cooking the cheese steak comes over to the counter and said yes you can get cheese but it's an additional charge and he said no problem. ( huge training opportunity) the same lady who asked if the customer can get cheese started working on my sandwich. After eight more minutes of waiting for my sandwich's they were finally ready so in total it was and extra 15 minutes to get my order over the expected time I was quoted. I go home and open my sandwich and was highly disappointed. I asked for extra Mayo and Mayo on both sides of the bread and extra onions. Only thing I got was a dry sandwich with very little onions but boy did she hook up the lettuce. Don't remember asking for extra lettuce but that was what I got. The Philly for my wife was to include grilled onions and peppers. She got steak and cheese but nothing else. I am unsure if this was a one off situation but if I have to bring food home and put my own Mayo on it and cut and grill my own onions since I didn't have any peppers at home. It really defeated the point of going out and not cooking last night since I cook at home an average of 5 nights a week. Not sure if I will ever go back to this location and after my experience I am unsure if I will ever go back. We have many choices when it comes to a sandwich shop and having an experience like this just makes me think. Are they going to be the next Quiznos? Only time will tell. read more

I almost never post negative reviews. In fact if I have a bad experience at a place I just simply don't post. But being treated poorly for the 3rd time at this particular Jersey Mike's, now makes me the idiot. My wife placed an online order and I went to pick it up. There were 4 people in line to order their sandwiches. I was in the line for "pick up only". Just me. Not only was I not acknowledged in anyway, I didn't realize someone walked up behind me for her pick up. The young lady at the cash register was checking people out that were having their sandwiches made on the spot. There was never a "hello" or "I'll be with you in a minute"...nothing. Almost 10 minutes standing there. Then she finally turns and looks beyond me and asks the girl standing behind me what's the name for your order? Like I was invisible? I was going to say something to her but decided not to. It was busy and not my style to make a scene. Here's the deal though, I worked in customer service for 36 years. A simple acknowledgment that she's aware I was there would've been nice. This is NOT good service. Also I was the only person in the pick up line and then unaware there was someone else behind me, she got helped before me. I've been a customer of the Jersey Mike's franchise since they opened in Southern California. This will be the last time for me. I had a similar experience at the Rossmore Jersey Mike's. I didn't write about it. $16 sandwich with very little meat on it. This sandwich that I just picked up was similar. Regular size that seemed very small and was light on meat. Treated poorly and spending top dollar on a sandwich that's supposed to fill you up, no thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere. In the times we're in right now, good customer service should be at the forefront. read more
