    House Margarita with Mango
    Dana S.

Myself, my husband and three other friends got seated quicker than we were told the wait time was. we had just decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing a baseball game in this area. We had good service also by our server, Xavier and he did a nice job with giving us good food suggestions as well as making sure we had everything we needed during our meals. The food came to our table hot and in big portions. There were many big screen televisions from the bar area diagonal to the booth seats we were in and the atmosphere looked very industrial with lots of hanging lights around us. The lights were dimmed as the sun disappeared and so we had to resort to flashlight setting on our phones to read the menu clearly. The windows were open to let in the fresh air and the parking is only on the street at this location. They give you the option here to eat inside or on the porch and the restaurant is two floors as well so you can relax with your choice of pizza, sandwiches or other choices. We felt full after our meal and we enjoyed our first time experience here.

Fish tacos with sweet potato fries and Summer rose sangria

I went here about a month ago and absolutely loved the vibes of this place. Super fun, lively environment, and my waitress was really nice and social. I got the fish tacos and the summer rose sangria - the fish was cooked just right (not over or undercooked), and the sangria added a nice sweet touch. Would definitely come here again and highly recommend if you're looking to get dinner with friends in a lively environment! By the way, paid ~$43 after tax and tip.

Really nice place in downtown Worcester. Great ambiance and atmosphere... Huge square bar with TONS of huge flat screens... drinks are AMAZING! Bartenders were great! Fast and efficient with a full bar- quite impressive! Staff was great too- everyone whom we interacted with was wonderful! We all ordered the pear drink & it was absolutely delicious and strong!! Well worth the money! The nacho's were probably the best nachos I've ever had! It was 4 of us and we had MORE than enough. Perfect portion size! I got the Burro Bowl which I would rate as Good, but not the best I ever had. They definitely use high quality ingredients. I will definitely come back, looking forward to trying their winter sangria or the strawberry drink they had! Oh and upstairs they had amazing igloos- but they are only open on the weekends! We will have to go back on a weekend!

Salmon (swapped fried rice for white) to go order

I was in the area for work and placed a to-go order of the salmon, but I swapped out the fried rice for white instead. while I can't speak too much on the service since I didn't stay, the food was super delish. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a little crispness on the bottom, the green beans were so good and tender without being mushy. From the little bit of time I spent inside it seemed like a really nice spot, hopefully I can stay and sit next time I'm in the area!

The mercantile is great. It's one of the better restaurants in Worcester and turns into a fun nightlife spot at night. The food is great. We've come multiple times and it always fantastic!

After we finished the Van Gogh Experience at the Mercantile Center which is adjacent to The Mercantile restaurant, we quickly walked over for an early dinner. This was our first visit here, and we weren't sure what to expect on Valentine's day. The hostess greeted us promptly, and politely directed us to the bar since we didn't have a reservation. It was quiet and there were ample seats available at the large bar. Within seconds of our arrival, one of the bar tenders cheerfully brought us menus and silverware. Within a few minutes we ordered: Mercantile Burger(Medium Rare) WHITE CHEDDAR, LETTUCE, TOMATO. $17 Chicken Milanese CRISPY CHICKEN BREAST, LEMON, BABY ARUGULA, PECORINO, PICKLED SHALLOT. $24 Our order arrived promptly within 10 or 15 minutes, and the food looked good. The burger was nicely cooked, medium rare, juicy and thick. And the fries were hot and crispy. I'd be happy to have this dish again. The Chicken Milanese with arugula was very tasty, if not a tad dry. If this dish came with some sauce, it would be very good. I might not order this upon a return visit. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was excellent, and the venue was very nice, boasting a contemporary but casual feel. I'd be happy to return, though I bet this place gets very busy on Friday or Saturday night. They have a rooftop bar open in the summer, and igloos which hold up to 6 diners are open in the winter.

    Mediterranean Salad with grilled salmon

The best salad I have had in a while! First time here and I already can't wait to go back. Great variety of food. Service was good, I was with a big party and staff were accommodating and attentive. Loved the Brussel sprouts and the goat cheese balls as appetizers. Perfect to share and cooked great! Main was the Mediterranean salad and I added the grilled salmon. Fish was cooked perfectly and the salad was a great big portion. Cool looking atmosphere with the exposed beam very industrial. Can't wait to go back!

SUCH a great place for lunch in Worcester!!! Great drinks, appetizers, and food all around! My girlfriend and I came here for a day, started off with some lemon waters and Buffalo saucy wings. So good! The bleu cheese dressing was so delicious and the wings were great as well, though I wish they were a bit crispier! Perfect amount of sauce, however. For the main course we each ordered a Mercantile burger-- which was DELICIOUS! One of the best burgers I've ever had in MA. The meat was so delicious, and the toppings were even better. We both got it extra-deluxe style with a fried egg, bacon, & avocado. Try it, you won't regret it. The fries and salad on the side-- 5 stars as well. Truly amazing food here. We will be back!!!

Went for brunch this time, just as good (maybe even better). Sat at the bar service of the drinks and food was very quick.

Food is decent, menu variety is sufficient. Server is attentive overall but didn't check in to ask how was the food, we were busy talking so maybe she didn't want to interrupt us. We went there because of the convenience from the Monet immersive show. Forgot to take picture of pizza, so only appetizer and dessert picture. Butterscotch crème brûlée is recommended..

The bar staff is awesome and incredibly attentive. The nachos are not up to par. I like that it's course to DCU.

I don't rightly know how to review a restaurant I didn't intend to eat at…read more It's not entirely my fault -- the signs outside say "Havana Nights". In five different places. The parking is for Havana Nights. Imagine our surprise when we were handed menus for "The Fokin Ninja" or Taino. That name isn't anywhere. I still don't know what this place is called. I asked our server if the awesome Cuban place moved, and got the weirdest response.. something like "Ahh.. Ohh.. yeah, let me get someone to help you." I probably should have packed up and studied the situation from somewhere else? There were changes in April and it's not Cuban any more. But we were seated with waters and Fokin Ninja menus, so maybe there's some crossover. I don't even know how to describe the menu; you can read it here. Some kind of Mexican-Asian fusion? Prices are steep, from the $18 cocktails to the $30-$40+ entrees. They did have a few specialty rolls for $10, so I tried a few. Look, maybe beef and chicken fusion rolls are your thing, but today I learned that they are not mine. Not at all. Dry beef, dry shredded chicken on top, and the weirdest mash of flavors and textures does not make a delightful roll. Sticky sweet brown sauce with bacon and cream cheese and some sliver of maybe roast beef? Nope nope nope. There just wasn't anything delicious about them.. just weird stuff wrapped in rice and called a fusion roll. The fried fish plate (Pescado Frito) for $32 was pretty good. Hot, fresh, good size, but just bland and unseasoned, as far as I could tell. Came with chimichuri sauce and fried plantains. Fried rice for $22. Loud and cold in there. This is also the first place in Worchester that puts the Tip right on the tab. Not a service charge, just "Tip" and they picked it for you. There is a line where you can write in an additional tip. It ain't right. I can't think of anything that would merit a second star. The kicker? The receipt says "Havana Nights"! I would have enjoyed eating there instead.

Went with some girlfriends on a Sunday around 2pm. Great…read moreexperience. Dominican x Asian fusion was definitely not something in my wheelhouse to think of. But my friend recommended and it did not disappoint. They were at about 35% capacity at the time. Service was good. Our server was really nice. We got a wide variety of items. I don't recall the sushi roll name though. We all got the CHOFAN which was literally the most delicious new thing I've had in a long time. Literal. Perfection. They got steak and shrimp. I got chicken. All three fire. The best way I can describe it is like the most perfect fried rice you've ever had. We also got some table apps veggie spring rolls and gyoza. Both really good but I did ask for this like Asian Thai chili sauce instead of the one that came with the spring rolls because it's like a mayonnaise based sauce and I just wasn't really feeling it. That really complimented the spring rolls better to me. My cocktail was MEDICINA DE AMOR I $22 Hennessy, grand marnier, strawberry and lime juice. To me it was way too sweet and the other one that comes in the IV bag the server said was even sweeter than that. I had to put water in it. But it was cute and I wanted it so. Probably wouldn't get again tho. Restaurant vibe and decor was very aesthetically pleasing. Overall zero complaints. And highly recommend. There is a small Parking lot on the left side and street parking. Also, I heard that they just reopened with a new name so the outside is gonna say Havana but it's called Taino and says it on the door. I was a little confused when I pulled up.
