The food at best I would give three stars to. It's a standard diner but nothing that makes it really stand out. My biggest gripe was that it took more than 40 minutes for our food to come out, and we did not order that much. I don't see myself coming back here.

Finally tried the Milkhouse, we had a nice breakfast. The restaurant was very busy but we lucked out with seats fairly quickly. Overall good food for breakfast and a nice large menu!

I have a soft spot in my heart for small NY diners, and this one met my expectations. The decor and atmosphere was adorable with the cute cow decor. The menu was great, we were surprised to see grits on the menu as southerners it was a nice surprise. The food was great and the guy (im assuming the owner) was fantastic and friendly.

A true gem, housed in the former Valley View Diner. To say it's been spruced up is totally underselling the charming and welcoming feel. The menu selection puts just enough spin on traditional breakfast faves without veering into being over the top. My Papa beard hit all the right notes: tasty sausage gravy, fluffy homemade biscuits, eggs over easy, perfect skin on home fries, and slabs of nutty whole wheat toast. Enough for two meals, or a friend :-)

Another delightful Sunday morning breakfast with my son...1,364/1,364... all's well that starts well, is delivered well, has been prepared well and is reasonably priced! What more is there to say for their consummate consistency.

If you are looking for a cozy and comforting diner that prepares scratch made (homemade) food, then look no further than The Milkhouse Diner. This unassuming diner may be small in stature (roughly 15 tables), but they absolutely pack a mighty punch when it comes to flavor and customer service. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile and were allowed to seat ourselves wherever we liked. Within 2 minutes, a kind gentleman was at our table to take our drink order and hand us our menus. He was very informative on which dishes were customer favorites and offered a few menu suggestions for us to try. We opted for the sampler platter, breakfast garbage plate & the gobbler. Everything was simply wonderful, and I sincerely mean wonderful! You can definitely taste that the food is fresh and made to order. Portions were very generous (each entrée was enough for 2 servings), and the prices are unbeatable. If you're looking for a home cooked meal away from home, you'll definitely enjoy The Milkhouse.

    Roastery

Food was good but not to be confused w the Milk House Roastery which is also in Marcellus and had the name first. The best coffee and beans. Not sure why this diner isn't using their coffee ??

Delicious! We stopped for lunch and found out this is definitely "where the locals go" I enjoyed a grilled cheese and hot chocolate; He got eggs Benedict and cheese grits. The fries are amazingly perfect.

It is a smaller bakery/Café so not a ton of seating however there is some available for a quick bite. Cute little donut, decorations around on the walls too! I got two different types of scones as well as a breakfast sandwich. I was starving, and it tasted delicious, however, it would've been nice if the sandwich could come with something small on the side like fruit, salad, or garnish of any sort. The sandwich itself was on a smaller side, but it was still delicious nevertheless.

Well before it's charming renovation, back to when it had leather bar stools at the bakery counter and Jim in the back making the best apple fritters you've ever had. I come whenever I'm in town and it's always good. I think more than anything I come for the nostalgia. The Rice Krispie treats are always a solid pick and I enjoy them a lot. Same with the smiley face cookies, the bakery frosting is the best. I got a parfait for the first time since high school though and was sorely disappointed. They used to use wake robin yogurt (which I do remember them discontinuing some years ago), but now the yogurt is SO sweet. Overall it makes the parfait too sweet with the homemade granola and blueberry coulis. I couldn't help but notice how much smaller the parfait portions are too. They used to be full sized cups and now they're nearly half their former size which was definitely disappointing considering the price has certainly not gone down. In summary, the bakery will always hold a special place in my heart. Been going since I was a baby. The treats are good, sandwiches are solid, and they have a wide variety of beverages. Steer clear of the updated parfait though

The food has always been " top Sysco" truck stuff - kind of like an Applebee's or something. I don't even know how to put my finger on it. Maybe it's the smaller menu due to 'Rona. Maybe they have a new chef - but WOW!! They've really stepped up their game! The Spinach and Artichoke Dip app was handmade. It wasn't some overly creamed out of a can dip. The ingredients were big and tasty! In fact, I only really have pictures of the after because we ate it so fast! The wife had her usual Steak Salad and the steak was done better than ever. I nervously ordered the Reuben - knowing full well in upstate NY it often is devoid of anything but a tiny bit of Sauerkraut. Everything on this Sammie was perfect NYC grade. The corned beef had a smoky hint to it. The cheese and thousand island dressing were perfectly portioned. The Mac salad side had this amazing mustard taste to it. Drinks were great. Staff picked up on us quick even though we were sitting on a packed deck next to a fairly demanding large party. Always nice and always trying to please. Did I mention the view? We love it so much we literally just bought a house that shares a border with this golf course with the same view! If you are in the area, is it Beak and Skiff, have a tasting, but for sure eat and enjoy the sunset at the Loft! This is a must visit.

We started with the New England clam chowder and it was amazing! My husband got the chefs choice which was the short rib, the mashed potatoes were bland but otherwise great plate. I got the Jamin sunset burger which was amazing, messy but so good! Danielle is our favorite waitress there, she is always so attentive and makes every visit a pleasant one. We will definitely be back next season!

At Long Last knocked booth of those out of the park. The best c&b I can ever recall eating, and excellent home fries. The fries were unique to my experience. A ham and cheese bagel for one lady and a steak and cheese bagel for the other. Both came with scrambled eggs on the sandwich, and one lady had peppers and onions (steak) on hers. Both proclaimed their fare to be excellent. Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. The staff members were very helpful. The foʻd came quickly and was served piping hot.
