I was in hershey for a business trip for two weeks and I went by the yelp reviews to find a place eat every night. Best reviews in the area so I went. First impression the building is unbelievable old rustic look but looked brand new at the same time. $$$$ went into doing that and it looked awesome. Onto the food. The menu seemed a little limited for how nice the place looked but I ordered the brisket with garlic potatoes and fresh green beans. It was the best brisket I ever had, didn't need a knife it was just falling apart with a fork. If you eat the whole thing you should enter a competition. Delicious. read more

Stopped in for dinner while I was in town for a conference. I ended up seated at the bar with a very attentive bartender (I don't know her name but she was great!). Had the dragonberry Moscow mule, grilled salmon, and creme brûlée. All were delicious. This conference is every year at the same time, so I can almost guarantee I'll be back again. read more

In town on business. My colleagues and I went to The Mill for lunch. Absolutely outstanding. Kelsey J. was our server and she was fantastic. She deserves a raise! The restaurant is beautiful. Went to The Mill while in Hershey visiting for the park. the place is super cute and visually appealing. We were sat right away and greeted by our waitress. She suggested the sangria so I got it and I can honestly say it was THE BEST I've ever had. Very refreshing and not too sugary, pears in it, so good. I got the mussels appetizer which they were good, nothing crazy, but the real winner was the crab cake I got and the chicken & waffles my boyfriend got. For dessert we got tiramisu and I am very picky with my tiramisu and it was so good and airy and how it should be. A bit pricey but worth it for a nice night out. read more

I've been here twice and was blown away both times. The menu has a good variety of unique and artfully described dishes. I personally enjoyed a Spicy Pickle martini, thanks to the recommendation of our awesome server Nicole. She was incredibly welcoming and described the menu items so well my boyfriend ordered the brisket based on her suggestion. We've came 2 times for lunch here. First time our orders and food came they were terrible. Missing things and full of fat (from husbands panini) , things added (bacon on my burger when I told server NO PORK) and fries for kids meal were to hard and overdone. BUT The second time.... WOWWWWW definitely redeemed themselves. My husband ordered the panini AGAIN this time with a salad, my toddler got the chicken strips and tots and I ordered a chicken sandwich on brioche bun with side salad.. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS the entire meal! Salads were so fresh, colorful and delicious. Husbands panini was cooked to perfection barely any fat in the meat and he loved it, my chicken sandwich was hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had and my sons tots and chicken strips were cooked perfectly for a toddler to eat. I'm not sure if we had bad experience first time because it was a Saturday semi busy around noon but our second time was a weekday around 12:30 and not busy at all but we plan to go back again during the week! read more

Generally very good- great atmosphere. We visited the Mill on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate my wife's birthday (we were a group of 7) at 12:30 in the afternoon. The service was good- everyone was friendly and attentive. The appetizers and drinks were very good. PEI mussels, calamari, oysters, pork belly, beer, wine, and mixed drinks were great. Our main dishes were tasty, but we're not served very hot- crab cake sandwich, brisket sandwich, a couple burgers, chicken sandwich, French Onion soup... we needed to ask for hot fries- which they brought quickly. Went here for lunch. The filet mignon was cooked well and the staff was nice enough to change out fries for Brussels sprouts. The atmosphere is lovely and quiet, highly recommend for date night. The seasonal cocktails were unique and splendid. The desserts (creme brûlée, bread pudding) were to die for. Would love to eat here again. I recently visited here during a family trip to Hershey Park. I found this gem on yelp. Everything thing was wonderful . Stoped in on a Monday night with a party of ten around 5pm and we were seated quickly. I would recommend a reservation as it got busy as the nigh went on. I ordered appetizer for the table. They all were good. I especially liked the oysters super fresh and steamed little neck clams with smoked sausage. We also had calamari, crab stuffed bliss potatoes and curry chicken spring rolls. My daughter had the soup of the day witch was a corn chowder and I was envious I didn't order my own. It was so good. The entrées were equally as good. As for myself I order the filet mignon, the steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were amazing. My 8 year old ordered the salmon from the children's menu and it was fantastic. Amanda was our sever and was very welcoming and helpful. Great food, great service and a cool atmosphere. The chief even stoped over to see if we enjoyed everything. Great dinner tonight. I had the brisket and mac n cheese which was recommended by our bartendar Justine. The brisket was flavorful, fork tender, and a large portion. I also enjoyed the cheesy mac n cheese. My wife had the NY strip with an amazing side of scallops. Justine was a great bartendar and informative about different wine and drink options for my wife. She even made my wife a special holiday drink that we had back at Christmas. If you are looking for a quality meal, this is the place. read more

Really a hidden gem. Still new, less than 2 years. Great historic feel, wonderful service. Deviled Eggs with Crab and 2 doz Mussels with Sausage for an Appy does not leave a lot of room for an Entree. The Lobster Risotto was great however. So were the Scallops. Tasted the bacon from their own smokehouse and next time will select more. 3 Appys, 2 Entrees, 4 glasses of wine- $90- Thought that was pretty good. Did not have room for dessert. read more

The Mill has the feel and the pricing of a higher end restaurant, but the food and service left much to be desired. I ordered the strip steak with baked potato. We waited almost an hour for our food. When it finally came out it was only warm. The potato was dry and the melted cheese looked like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for an hour. The stake was warm, and under-seasoned. The bigger issue is that it was improperly trimmed and still had a strip of gristle that made it difficult to eat. While edible, it was not what you'd expect at a restaurant of this reputation and price-point. read more

I'm a new Hershey resident and this place is cool. Old Mill with wood pillars and ceiling vibe. Fresh herbs in jars out on the bar, which is very upscale looking. The food has a smaller but perfected menu. The burger was top notch. The bartender Justine knows how to make anything, and better than most places I've been to. Not a suit and tie place by any means but totally a classy joint above any other bar/restaurants in the area. Food prices are only slightly higher than surrounding areas, but worth it in my opinion. Drink prices are about average. I'll be coming here a lot. read more

We received a delicious lunch and warm welcome to Hershey from The Mill. Our waiter Chad was so helpful and attentive, by far the best service we had all weekend. The food is traditional food with interesting twists, so they are not your average plates. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and restored similarly with some modern twists, so it's stylish but not stuffy. The menu has a great variety to choose from, and the bar offers up some great beers on draft. Be sure to listen to the specials! They will make it hard for you to make up your mind! read more

Went here for some dinner after a marriage conference. The beer selection was superb. Our food came out quickly and was excellent. Super chill environment, casual-classy kind of place, very well decorated, perfect date night atmosphere.The waitress may or may have not known that we were coming from a marriage conference, I think our work books were a dead give away, lol, but we were close to the last people in the building and while my wife was away at the bathroom, I asked the waitress to play a slow romantic song to dance to. My dissatisfaction with the last visit I'll make to The Mill is a more than a little sour. Having lived in Hershey for many years I could not have been more excited that an intrepid group saw something in that cool old building. My first couple visits to The Mill did not disappoint. Here was a place that was trying...making every effort to ensure everything was just right. The curse of complacency hits some places harder than others and The Mill is on the mat and down for the count. Simple tasks like a properly cooked burger, well made cocktail, and more than three visits from a disinterested server have been lost. Just like any chance of a future visit from this frequent diner. Makes me sad. You want a great meal in Hershey? Devon is the clear winner. read more

Beautiful building, ok service, food would probably be delicious if it was not served cold. We went this morning, were seated downstairs so not sure if that is the problem (too far from the kitchen). Server friendly but very distracted by other things/people so my partner never got the twice-asked for ketchup for her home fries so she asked the young man that seated us for ketchup which he did bring. My friend's omelet was hot but my brisket hash, including the poached egg on top, was cold. I was too hungry to send it back to be heated and, judging by the ketchup problem, I was afraid I might have been waiting a very long time to get my food back. We left somewhat hungry as there are not many sides to choose from and no bread offering or toast served with our hash entree and omelet entree. There was no fruit side or ala carte waffle or pancake to go-with. There were a couple potato sides but we already had potato items on our entree plate. There was a bacon side but for $9, I would pass and a little afraid that it said sirachi because I would not want spicy food. One soup offering only and it was tomato which I don't order when I am out. I can do Campbell's tomato any day at home. A minestrone or vegetable type soup with pieces of something in it would have been very tasty. I would not come here again. Too many other places from which to choose, that bring hot food to the table. read more

This is a great place to eat while visiting Hershey. My husband ordered the Scallops and they were super fresh and cooked perfectly.
