My husband and I were excited to come here after hearing so many good things! The Mill did not disappoint! Service was great! Bree was our server and was fantastic; our drinks never went empty, and overall the entire staff was super friendly and helpful! We ordered what we saw on yelp what was once called "worsley" but it's now called "the Mill flat bread" and beware...it's addicting it's so good!!! Then my husband ordered the more meats calzone, and I the (I can't remember the name but it had a TON of GREAT cheeses) fettuccine with grilled chicken - AMAZING! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Awesome service ! They are located right in downtown Murrieta which is a cute little spot to hang out ! We went for breakfast after picking up Some horse feed and ughhhh it was amazing I got the Plateau potatoes with eggs! It was amazing flavor and nicely plated. Ask for the sour cream on the side just so they don't over do it! The coffee was good, hot and the waitresses where nice and attentive ! Great food and reasonably priced. As for the guy who left the review saying he'd tell you to go Denny's before eating here, I laugh in his hard to please face. This is not chain restaurant quality and the service is friendly. But I guess there are people dumb enough to travel and eat at the same chains they frequent at home. It was just a normal day woke up went to the Casino. But on the way there my car started misfiring. So I searched around for a mechanic found Eli all auto care. They said it would be about an hour and a half or so to fix my car, they recommended "The Mill" to me. I went there and ordered the 10" pizza for lunch. Halfway done eating I I notice their register isn't set up for Apple Pay, as I don't bring my atm card to the casino. Learned my lesson too many times. I asked her what other payment options they had. If they could input my card manually or if they could take zelle, the waitress said give her a min. Went to talk to the manager and they said my lunch was on the house. Couldn't believe it. Very nice down to earth people there. The food is amazing and customer care is amazing. So after I got my car back I used Apple Pay at my bank atm and went back and paid the lunch tab. But this place is staffed with the highest level of customer care, and service. and the food is great. Enjoyed our experience here. The servers were very informative and friendly. The portions were very large. My friend and I both had the Tomato Basil Angel Hair which was excellent. Our husbands both had sandwiches which they enjoyed. One of them had the smashed potato salad and was kind enough to give us all a bite....yummy! This place is great for so many different groups of people. They have great breakfast, lunch specials; they have a bar with good drink specials and happy hour. They have a dinner menu with killer pizza. It is kid friendly and has an outdoor patio area. During breakfast or brunch hours, you might have a short wait, but it's so worth it. Just enjoyed our 2nd dinner at The Mill. The first time we dined outdoors on the patio - had a hip feel. This time it was a lot chillier so we dined inside...felt like eating in Grandma's kitchen/cozy. The one word I'd use to describe their food is FRESH! Had the most wonderful fresh mozzarella salad the first time, and today enjoyed their Tostada Pizza - soooo flavorful! Shared a Mill Green salad, which was generous in size, and they included two huge salad dressing sides for us. We were STUFFED after half their huge pizza. Loved how smiley and happy all the waitresses and staff seemed. Side note: they have a HUGE, lovely selection of herbal teas. A giant thumbs up. read more

I have been eating here since they opened 20 years ago and the food has always been amazing. Over the last year its been a ritual for me and myfamily to eat here every Sunday. This is one of our go too restaurants. Friendly staff, great food love sitting on the patio. The menu is quite large and everything we have tried is great. My hubby is in love with the Thia Pizza and I love the Mill White Capers And Chicken but always add artichokes You,. Bad experience! There are basically 3 elements to a restaurant experience, right? 1) Food, 2) Ambience and 3) Service. I've been here a couple times before (as other people's choices) and the food was unremarkable. If you really analyze the pics of the salads, they all have the same lettuce, very little other stuff, so mediocre on number 1) food. If you see from the pics, the patio is okay but there is no ambience in the restaurant, so that's 2). So that leaves 3) Service. If the service is great, I would still probably go to a neighborhood restaurant that has mediocre food and zero ambience from time to time. But service is where things went horribly wrong today, Sunday, at approximately 3:30 pm. I note the time because it was in between lunch and dinner.. when we got there, there was MAYBE 1 other table of people. We came in and filled 3 tables. (We were coming from a religious service so we weren't all riff-raffy, we were a mixed aged group from 30's to 60's) We had friends coming that would have filled 3 more tables. We NEVER asked to be seated together and were sitting at 3 different tables. They didn't have to do anything special to accommodate us. When some more of our friends came in for a table, they refused to seat them! A waitress came and said the owner was very angry and that we need to call the owner next time we have a large party. She said it rudely, like she was scolding us. Their restaurant was MORE THAN HALF EMPTY and they wouldn't seat our friends at an empty table. Let that sink in :/. Three of us paid for our drinks and left and went somewhere else. There was a teenage boy at the cashier and I said, "My mom had a restaurant and she would never have turned people away, you guys aren't even full :/.." he laughed, that was it. Not a word, not a "sorry," just a laugh. Our friends that arrived before us already ordered so politely stayed. A lesser group would have left anyway but they stayed. We all have a choice on which businesses we want to support with our money and there is nothing at The Mill that warrants me spending money there. To owner: Your reply says you were there, you didn't come out yourself, aren't denying you were angry as server told us, and aren't doing the professional thing by apologizing. Instead, you start by attacking me, insinuating that I anonymously dole out bad reviews. If you look at my reviews, you have the distinction of being my only 1 star review. read more

The waiters were extremely friendly and so was the owner of the restaurant. The fruit that came with my pancakes was good. Here's the problematic thing about the menu. My friends all ordered a side of fruit with their main course and I decided to order just a stack of pancakes. My stack of pancakes came with fruit unexpectedly. Not only did I get the same amount of fruit that my friends got, but my meal was cheaper even though we all ordered the same amount of food. Also, the pancakes were disappointing. Very dry, almost powdery. You're better off buying the pancake mix from the grocery store and making them yourself. They'd taste a lot better. TL;DR I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone else. The sides are a rip-off, the pancakes were dry, and I'm not eager to try anything else on the menu. read more
