Had reservations, at 7:30 they were full I can understand that we had to wait, people who came in after us with reservations at the same time were seated before us. Poorly run establishment I spoke to the manager they apologized, but then it happened again. Waiting over a half hour after our reserved time is not a great start too say the least. Wish I could say it got better fast, but we ordered at 8:10 our meals came at 9. I have to admit the steak was good, and the fries, halibut, and cheese cake very good. Surprised this place considers themselves a steakhouse. I've been here before and was always hesitant to order steak for a few reasons: - Only a small portion, at the very bottom of their menu is dedicated towards steak. - The cost is pretty expensive and the atmosphere just doesn't mesh with that kinda money being spent. - We never saw anybody have steaks brought to them all the times dining there. We finally decided to see what they had to offer and ordered the big daddy of steaks - The tomahawk. It came out and was pretty presentation wise but definitely had a big portion of it cooked all the way through when we ordered medium. We can deal with that, however this steak which is supposed to be melt in your mouth packed with flavor deliciousness had NONE of that! We had to ask for salt pepper and garlic to season the steak ourselves at the table. It helped some but with the steak being over partially over cooked and not flavored while being cooked it just was meh. Nothing to write home about, not memorable in a positive way and safe to say we'll never be ordering steak here again. Waste of $160. read more

Ate there last Sunday and was disappointed in the service. The food was very good! My wife had the Scallops and I had the steak frites. Props to the cooks! The service was extraordinarily slow. Runners would bring the food, but that's it. We had to take silverware from an empty table. Three of four meals cam out together and mine was about 20 minutes later. It was still good even though it was luke warm. I thought we caught them short handed, but when I walked by the kitchen the runners were sitting in chairs outside the kitchen. Cool atmosphere, good service, and most importantly, GREAT food. Husband had the special...the braised lamb tacos, and I had the burger with oyster mushrooms and truffle aioli. Both were killer (we split and shared our lunches). We also had blackberry lemonades and the creme brulee cheesecake for desert. We'll definitely be back. My family and I have been going to the Mill since they opened and I can't recommend this restaurant enough. I have read reviews of the Mill being too expensive and I understand it is a bit more spendy but the service and the food is worth it. The staff has for the most part stayed the same, happy staff who has been there since them opening and that says a lot!! The hosts go above and beyond!! They know my boys like to color and make sure to provide extra colors, they have ran to the door to open it for me before I even got super close knowing that my hands were full and always treat my kids great! This is review is based on the food & pricing. The service was fine. The wedge salad was $15!!!! 2 tiny little wedges & some green dressing. I took one bite and ran to bathroom to spit out. It tasted like smelly wet gym socks. My friend ordered & she ate it but I thought it was awful. The frites or very thin French fries were meh at best. No real seasoning - a small smattering of some sauce but not enough to make up for the blandness of the fries. This was our 2nd visit in the last 1 1/2 years. Our first visit was similar to tonight's. We only went due to convenience & time constraints and wanting to give The Mill benefit of the doubt. We will never go back again. After waiting an HOUR!!! The food had No Flavor!! For a $400 ticket for 7 folks I at least want it to be seasoned. I asked everyone at the table how their food was on a scale of 1-10 we got low 6's and 7's. Meh. I ordered 2 different types of appetizers for my dinner and literally said that. 3 of our dishes came out before anyone else's. So it sat there while we waited for the others food. I even told the waiter and it was more of a " whoops" moment. Everyone got a box and said it'd be better once we season it and re- heat. I didn't want to tip but I'm not cut like that so..I did. Just incredible, nothing comes close in this area. Mill burger perfectly cooked, and loaded with great bacon. The appetizer fries made dirty were two meals, pork, egg, cheese a Oh yeah and enough garlic for 4 plates. Coffee was super stong and huge cups, wow. read more

6 PM on a Tuesday and only four tables occupied. The waitress raved about today's soup which was subpar and lacked flavor. The wagyu steaks were below average. The mashed potatoes came plane with over sprinkled garlic salt. The veggies were waxy, under cooked, and lacked flavor. The buy up charge for truffle fries is not worth it. They were extremely salty and not tasty. The beet and blue cheese salad was over dressed and soggy. Bathrooms were not maintained and dirty. The wait and kitchen staff were cackling and hanging out near the bathrooms. We were last served of the 4 tables but first in. We assume because the other tables ordered burgers. Another couple in the booth next to us had the wait staff hanging out, dancing next to the table with friends that were customers. Just off pudding. We will not be going back. They have the best oysters I've ever had (I've had my fair share) but their portion sizes are on the larger size. They have amazing bloody Mary's and other mixed drinks and that is just their food! Shout out to The Mill for having such a great staff of bartenders. They're so personable and attentive. They really know what they're doing. My boyfriend and I like to sit at the bar and make conversation with the bartenders and I'm so glad they're great people. We've literally only been in twice and have been treated so well. The drinks are great, and strong like they should be. We've had appetizers here before, never a full meal though. We really enjoyed the fresh oysters that we had last time we were in. Heard about this place so had to try. Started out with the Pistachio prawns and OMG it was delicious! Perfect appetizer for two. Entrée was halibut fish and chips and was pretty good size! It was a lot of food so couldn't eat it all. Had two drinks, the Burledwood lemonade and it's refreshing, with vodka and strawberry. Tried the millarita that was a margarita, delicious as well! I'm always on the fence about steak frys because they are often too patatoey and not crisp enough but they got a good crunch in these ones. Came out to dinner with my family for my son's birthday. Sat in the dining room and was greeted friendly by our server Terri. We ordered drinks that were to die for, the juicy pear and the apple meal were amazing. Appetizers came and the child support and the wings or something to write home about. When the dinner came our steak looked perfectly cooked and our prawns and Teppanyaki all came beautifully. If you are looking for a steakhouse I still recommend the mail, they will not disappoint. read more

We came in for a Seahawks game and barely got greeted until the waitress came over and made fun of us for trying to decide where to sit. We ordered the Crab Benedict which was super salty. This place has the best French Fries in the world. Get them with the herbed aioli. The tandoori chicken tenders are ridiculous and if you like baby shrimp, I LOVE the Antons salad. They do prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights but get there early because they run out. Service tends to run on the slower side, so this is a great place to come if you're not in a rush or already starving when you arrive. We prefer the bar to restaurant. Great food and amazing service! Ordered: Short rib waygu tacos, the mill burger, for farmer burger, and truffle fries. Everything we had down to the side salad was delicious. Burgers were cooked perfectly and the tacos were very meaty. On top of that, our server, Chavo, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Finally a local restaurant gets it right! From apps to mains, they really have it dialed! Our waiter Tony was absolutely the best in his knowledge of the menu, specials and the beer selection. They do have an extensive selection of beers on tap as well as some pretty thought out creative mixed drinks! We decided to grab a couple pints of Silver city's Tropic Haze which is always a great IPA. For apps we started out the the "Pickle Jar" and as the name implies it's a Mason jar full of Picked goodness such as onions, gherkins, cherry peppers as well as pickle slices. The Brussel sprouts were next, seared and carmelized to perfection! Crispy and sweet on the outside with a soft savory center. Tony highly recommended the Special which was the ribeye topped with crab meat. Twist my arm! Of course you order this medium rare and it arrived perfectly prepared. Melt in your mouth I tell you! You could taste the freshness of the crab meat, this was not out of a can or spelled with a K. Dessert was mentioned but sadly, there wasn't any room left! read more

First impression when we walked in the door was not impressive, but once we sat down the waiter was really friendly and informative. The fish and chips, BBQ wings , and 1/2lb mill Burger were all they said they would be and more. Food was cooked to order, was hot and the sauces complemented the food well. We will be coming back for the Thursday chef BBQ. Would recommend checking this place out. Bonus I really like the decor. read more
