    Beautiful ornaments

Here's the Scoop! This restaurant reminds me so much of an old Christmas card from the 50's . The decorations, the ornaments are just gorgeous. It's cozy and so beautiful to eat and fellowship with friends, the decor just relaxes you. The hostess are very friendly and helpful upon entering. The seating accommodates all size groups. Private rooms are also available. The waitresses and waiters are quick , friendly and helpful when ordering and bringing out appetizers. Love the service and the food isn't bad. Nice portions as well. I enjoyed the Salmon. Outside there's Santa's Village and many shops to go in. Love this place it really sets the tone for families bringing their children to celebrate during the holidays. There's also a train ride through the village and bubble spheres that you can make reservations to eat in. Check it out you will be amazed.

Had not been here in decades... back home on LI Thanksgiving Day and went back and forth for weeks to book or not, based on the reviews... Had one of the latest seatings for the dinner ( non buffet). We had some service issues, but they were resolved. Luis was excellent as our server: personal and friendly. Supervisor Pepe was effective and helpful at remedying our situation. Food was fantastic ( and lots of leftovers!). My memories of the building don't match what it looks like today, but what a stunning venue! A must see.. Thank you for a great evening and possibly a new tradition.

I hadn't been to The Milleridge Inn since I was a little girl. It's a historical establishment that offers food, cocktails, host's weddings and other events, and has a cute shopping village. Now that it's winter it's decorated festively for the holiday season. We were serenaded by a trio of female carolers dressed up in old fashioned attire - a nice touch. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. My friend and I didn't like our cocktails so she recommended another one that we both loved. We both enjoyed our meals - I had a burger and my friend had steak - both tasty and cooked exactly how we wanted them. We were too full for dessert, but the delicious cinnamon bread they serve at the beginning actually did the trick! This place is great and to bring the kids, for a date, for a large group, or just to meet up with a friend or two. It suits a special occasion or just any evening out.

We took our 4 year old for the Easter event...it was cash only which we were not aware of but they do have an ATM in the same building as the Easter bunny photos. Our 4 year old loved the bounce houses...Shops are really small but super cute! Only 1 person working the funnel cake/ice cream shop so that was moving very slowly. The playcafe had been rented for a birthday party and we couldn't use it...no signage saying such just the family that booked it telling people it's a private event. Probably would not go back.

I've had reservations for my anniversary for over a month. Yesterday I get a voicemail left by a girl named Jennifer, who said that they had to cancel my reservations because they were going to redo their hours for after the holiday. I checked on the website and they were closed from the week ending August 31. My reservation was for the next Sunday, September 7. I called today and the number that they leave is a corporate number for their corporate office and the Milleridge is closed and there was nobody to discuss this with me and I'm furious. Follow up called Wednesday 9/3 left message and did not get a call back. Terrible way to do business !! 9/4 finally got a call back. Ashley said they're having electrical issues and the place has been closed for weeks now. I asked if they would be giving out vouchers for the inconvenience and you know what she said??? " we gave you a courtesy call " Needless to say, I needed to update this review. I'm even more mad now and I will never make reservations for this place again. Totally RUDE !

I've been coming here since a kid but this was my first time dining here for a baby shower. The staff is quick and friendly! The place is like a maze but full of wonders and detail. The food was okay nothing to write home about but the portions are great. We had breakfast pastries on the table and they were stale. My skirt steak was a little over cooked but I understand it's a thinner cut.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, service was good, simply menu with classic American comfort dishes, food was very good. The restaurant has a classic historical beauty that you won't find anywhere else that makes it special. The fact that it's been around for as long as it has speaks for itself.

All the dirty dinner dishes when dessert was brought

Went here for Easter. Don't ever bother to go. Waited 45 minutes for food that was cold. Service sucked. We were served dessert with all the filthy dinner dishes left on the table. One person had a piece of cake that was a regular slice and one of us had an infant size slice. No forks - just spoons for utensils. Just an unhappy horrible experience. Will never never be back. No excuse that it was crowded for the holiday - they should have made arrangements. Every part of this dinner sucked - including the food. Unbelievably overpriced. A dinner for $500+ should have some redeeming value. Don't waste your time and money.

While this is not an Irish venue They did great We had allergies and staff weren't versed on what to do. Everyone was welcoming, friend, speedy, happy cinnamon bread , Irish soda bread, onion soup, traditional plates and apple strudel. Music, dancing and bagpipes MADE IT AUTHENTIC A+ effort

During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. We tipped well because it's not the server's fault she was upset about opening the wine that she pushed. Happy eats!

We were seated right away upon entering and had no reservations. The place wasn't busy at that time. The inside decor was beautiful and our waitress was very sweet and patient with us as we took awhile to order because we were catching up plus being indecisive with all the menu options. My friend ended up ordering the Short Rib Bolognese and I ordered the Shrimp Tagliatelle. I was told the tagliatelle was made in house and it was absolutely delicious and DID in fact taste like it was freshly made! I tried some of my friends dish and there was a lot of meat in her dish (a positive!) and it was also extremely delicious! Bonus is that this restaurant is a few stores down from Marshalls and I'm a HUGE fan of Marshalls so I went there after to walk off everything I ate as well as shop :)

This will be applied to your meal, so technically you don't have to pay extra for the igloo like the ones in the city if you order enough. The service was good too. We don't have to leave the igloo at all to ask for service. However the food wasn't that great. The Caesar salad (including the wrap) was so salty! The beef on the sandwich was so dry. The burger and the mac and cheese were okay. So if next year the menu is the same, we probably won't return.

The brunch theme is Mardi Gras, and let me tell you, I felt like I was back in New Orleans! From flavor profile of all the food to the soft music in the background. My boyfriend and I were served fresh breads shortly after sitting down. They were so fresh and delish! For my wine I had the house rose, which was divine! My boyfriend had the sauvignon blanc, which he enjoyed as well! He did say he liked my rose a little bit better. For our appetizer we shared the Char Grilled Oysters. These were phenomenal! I'm still thinking about them now as I write this review! I wish there was more than 5. My boyfriend was nice and let me have the extra one! For our entrees, we each had a different Benedict. I had the Andouille one and my boyfriend went with the crab cake Benedict. Both were packed with flavor! The potatoes that came with them were also packed with flavors! We ordered additional drinks; ultimate Bloody Mary and Hurricane. Sip sip hooray! So good! For dessert I had the cheese cake parfait and my boyfriend had the cinnamon bread pudding. Desserts are made on sight at the bakery and both of these desserts were great! Even the whipped cream was fresh. Everything was amazing from start to finish! Our server, whose name I don't remember was such a sweet heart! We will absolutely return! 5+ stars all the way!
