It was better than ok. The view was nice and I was glad to be able to eat outside and have the dog with us. Hubby has the eggs Benedict, which he said tasted good but was a little light on the hollandaise sauce. I had the American. The bacon was crazy good, The eggs had great flavor but my yolks were over done so They wasn't a runny yolk to dip into. The sourdough toast was very flavorful, but they didn't put any butter on it and when they brought me butter it was cold so my English muffin didn't melt it. Started with the cheap plastic cutlery. A plastic 8 Oz glass of iced tea cost me $4.00! No refill, wasn't even asked. The "menu" was a two sided make it yourself item. Ordered a chicken sandwich. The waitress came by about 10 minutes later and asked if I wanted ham on my breakfast sandwich. Through limited English on her part, got that sorted out. Tried to use the restroom, women's out of order. With trepidation, I looked in the men's. No lock on the door and cleanliness wasn't a factor. No thank you. For the price, food was mediocre. We came here for breakfast, there wasn't a wait and the place seemed pretty dead. It's a little awkward when you walk in.. I think they are trying a little too hard. The food on the other hand was pretty good. Chicken fried steak is yummy. It doesn't have a great atmosphere. The tables are set up weird and there's no great place to sit. The only reason we came here was because No Worries had a super long wait and we were starving. That would probably be the only reason we would ever come back. read more

The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the salads because the dressing is made there on site. Everything is made fresh. The enchiladas are amazing too. Food was very pricey for what you got. The pictures in the menus and the website are beautiful with fruit and powdered sugar. What I got was soggy French toast with a side of whip cream and cherry. The waitstaff was only ok. Not too friendly even though we were the only ones in the place. The food was ok here. My husband went to put ketchup on his food and he noticed that it was discolored after her put it on. He tasted it and it didn't taste right. He wasn't able to eat his breakfast. When I went to check out I told the lady about the ketchup and she said no it's fine. I told her no it's not it tasted funny but she disagreed and argued with me and charged me regular price even after seeing he didn't eat his meal. read more

This place needs better signage. It would be packed! The food is so good. Our group had French toast, breakfast burritos, pancakes, and omelettes. We whole heartedly recommend it all. Amazing chicken fried steak! Seriously one of the best I've ever had. Whatever is in that gravy is to die for. My wife also had a great meal... huevos ranchero. Got the verde and the spicy red sauce. Yum!!! The people working there are incredibly kind, too. Great service! The only reason I can't yet give it 5 stars is because the decor needs just a bit more warmth. They got rid of the booths from No Worries Cafe, but in my opinion, that warmed up the atmosphere a little. They'll get it nailed, I'm sure, and in the meantime, I'll definitely be dining here again! read more

Talk about a hidden treasure! We left our resort restaurant after waiting on coffee for 15 minutes and came across this little gem. They opened the door for us coming in-we had coffee, juice etc within one minute of being seated. The spinach mushroom omelette was to die for, potatoes were delicious as well as their hollandaise sauce. The service was absolutely wonderful. They were the kindest people! Not the same place as it is to be. Has more of a mexican flavor to it. The food was good but I feel 2 dollars for a thick slice if bacon is a bit much. Ask for an orange juice and you get a small glass for 3 bucks. Waitress never came by to check on anything. read more

This review is not to discourage you from going to the Moose, just to help set your expectations! The food and service was good. However there are a couple things to be aware of. First, the menu that is on their website is not the actual menu that is available at the restaurant, it is actually about half the size as it shows online, so don't get your heart set on any one thing before hand! Breakfast, lunch, dinner... I've loved everything I've had at The Moose! Huevos Rancheros is one of my breakfast favorites with very flavorful homemade sauces. The Macho Moose Nachos with steak is a lunch favorite, as well as the grilled veggie panini with chicken! Peruvian dinner night was amazing, and I look forward to trying new dinner specials. As you're speeding down Parleys Pass toward Park City, look to the right at the Shell Gas Station.....Stop! That's where the Moose Cafe is located. Ate there first time this morning with my wife. We always order two different items and split it for variety. Today French toast and Huevos Rancheros. Great, delicious food. Nice welcoming couple/owners seated us with a feeling we were guests in their home. Breakfast tasted home cooked and fresh. Great hot coffee too. We're going back....you should go there too....you'll like it. We moved here last summer and so far this is our favorite breakfast place....looking forward to having lunch next time read more

So so so good!! What a hidden gem! We were visiting my sister who lives in the neighborhood- who would have guessed that such a tasty and friendly restaurant is adjacent to the gas station. My brothers and I stopped at the gas station due to traveling cross country from Cali. We were hungry and noticed the restaurant and decided to check out the menu. One guy recommended the restaurant and someone who works in there (I assumed it was the owner) told us they had an excellent chef who is good. Very friendly guy and the waitress also. The prices were not bad and they had tables outside, which was good since I had my 3 dogs with me. My brother and I had the fried steak with eggs and potatoe. My other brother had the nachos with steak. The food was excellent! They did not disappoint. I tried my brother's nachos, and it was good for the price. The amount of food for the price was excellent. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a place I would frequent. read more
