DO NOT pay your hard earned money to this nail salon. Lynn is very disrespectful, rude and has a bad attitude. She treated the employees bad and she also treats the customers bad. They are all in here talking about you in their native Vietnamese language saying all kinds of derogatory, mean and straight up disrespect. No customer should get treated like this! Ivy does great pedicures and is a ok person but, she does not know how to do Gelx or Sculpted nail extensions. She put the Gelx nail extension on incorrectly then had an attitude when I let her know. Then she straight up ignored me at one point. Then after that I was sent to Lynn so that Lynn could do my nails. Lynn was angry with me and attempted to rip off the Gelx extension from my nail bed. I had to ask her to drill off the Gelx extension. She was so angry she didn't even care about me being in pain or blood shedding!!!!! At this point I was so upset and frustrated I just told them to take off the Gelx and I wanted to leave. If Lynn (the head person or manager or owner ) if she knew that Ivy did not know how to do Gelx nails or sculpted nail extensions why did she book the appointment with her then? Why not just be honest and say that she does not do Gelx nail extensions or sculpted gel nails? I feel I was chosen to be a Guinea Pig for Gelx nail extensions. All this stress & foul treatment just to leave with only my feet done and paying $94.86 (pedicure, Gelx nail removal from previous visit, Gelx polish on toes). This was way too expensive for what I got . I will never go back to this salon. Save your money and go to a salon where people aren't cowardly and will talk about you in their native language laughing at you and carrying on while you sit there oblivious to what's happening. Please stop lying to these customers please. Be honest and get your employees better trained in Gelx extensions. Learn how to give better customer service as well. Previously had a love-hate relationship with this salon, but it has now turned to dislike-hate. I've given them more chances than I probably should have, just to leave disappointed every time. In fairness to the salon, I will only comment about my most recent experience. My appointment was for a basic regular polish pedicure, with no additional services. First, know that there is a "time limit" on pedicures with this salon. If you want more time, you have to pay for it. I guess this is understandable, but my technician started the timer before she even started the water. It was a good 3-5 minutes before I was told I could put my feet in, which is a considerable amount of time when you're only allotted 30 minutes to begin with. Although everyone around me was offered something to drink, I was not even offered water (I'm guessing because my service wasn't high-end enough). The technician mayyyyyybe spoke three words to me after asking me which service I wanted. Polish was already being put on at the 21 minute mark, which means I had less than 20 minutes of a true pedicure (and remember, the timer was started before the water was even started). After the painting was done, she moved me over to the drying station. Didn't mention how long I should stay there, didn't say another word. Walked away. Never came to check on me or my nails, nothing. And trust me, they weren't busy... they had multiple technicians sitting around doing their own thing, chatting with each other, etc., not with clients. After about 10 minutes, I decided I was ready to leave. Someone from the front called to her to come ring me up, which is likely the only reason I even saw her again. After I got home, I realized one of my toes was hurting, and upon taking a closer look, I think she nipped the skin around my toe when she was clipping the cuticles and dead skin. And after showering this morning (and in better lighting), I realized she did not remove all of my old polish (dark black), and you can see it around the edges of at least two of my toes, since I went with a lighter color polish this time. Overall, it wasn't an awful pedicure, but this experience definitely made me decide not to go there again. Like I said, I've had some small issues here in the past, but none that made me think "I'll never come back here" (although I probably should have). The final for me though is being treated like I'm "less than" because I didn't pay for the elaborate $100+ pedicure service with all the bells and whistles. There are plenty of other salons within 15 minutes of here that provide equal or better service, with better customer service, for the same price. read more

The best nail experience I've ever had! All staff were very kind and knowledgeable. I was a walk-in and cared for immediately. My nail tech was super detail oriented and set on ensuring that my nails turned out exactly the way I wanted. I received a complementary mimosa with my manicure which set the vibe of the place. Seriously the salon was polished. I appreciated their up to date playlist and it's always a good time being able to sing a few throwbacks with your tech. They even had a cute little stand for my phone and handbag. A relaxing and professional environment that I will definitely be returning for. I am not sure I will keep returning. I was very happy with this location but after giving the gel x nails a try I was not 100% satisfied after being told the price. I usually get my gel x nails for about $65-$70 INCLUDING design elsewhere. This place advertised gel x nails for $65 online, I asked for a simple french and the price jumped to $95 for gel x simple french. A design is an extra $30?? It was so crazy to me. Update: This business got on Nextdoor a week after I posted my review and threatening to call local authorities on me for posting a negative review. Then they lied about me deleting the review from here. What started as a misunderstanding is now a business attacking freedom of speech and threatening useless police report. Photo posted below I called this establishment at 0945 a.m, and ask the price of nail polish and cut down for 5 and 7 year old. She told me $8 dollars a piece. I told her my kids are in route there for polish and cut down. She said no need for an appointment they can be walk in. 10 minutes later my child care provider takes my kids in, instead of doing as I instructed on the phone. They do a full pedicure on my kids charge them 30 dollars a piece but then only do polish on their nails. When called to address this, the staff found it funny and said I should've brought them in myself.I spent $100 a pedicure at this place gave 20 to 30% tips! It wasn't worth taking advantage of 17 year old for extra $59, as you could have made that in tip with just visits from me!! This place was very pretty too bad their prices were ridiculous. I read great reviews about it and wanted to try it so i took my niece. My niece picked out basic small nails not long and was quoted $130. I get more elaborate nails in Virginia Beach and have never paid $130. I will not be back and they also charged a 2% transaction fee on a card when we got the price down to $90. I can see a transaction fee on smaller charges. I'm already spending $90. Also want tips in cash only, nope pay taxes on money earned just like everyone else. Anyways nails were basic and nothing special at all can get these services anywhere for lesser price. I found this place on Facebook one day just scrolling , and a beautiful set of nails caught my eye . It's been months since I've had a pedicure , so I decided on a whim to make an appointment . I was able to get one on Sunday which is my only free day at 12:30. I arrived at 12:20 and was called back promptly . I was greeted by all the employees , and even offered wine. I have to admit , I had the BEST pedicure of my life , and I've had ALOT . The nail tech was Mya , she was quiet but very pleasant . Personally I don't mind chatting during a fingernail service , but the pedicure is nice to just close my eyes and relax . I got the highest option offered , and asked for an added service con 5 more minutes of massage , but it was not needed , the service was just wonderful ! I can't say it enough ! I also got a full set of French tips / very short , and she did a wonderful job on that as well. Every step of the way she made sure to ask me was it ok , and if I approved . You can tell these people love what they do , it was truly refreshing . I paid a little more than what I usually do , BUT this salon is very modern , and you can tell they used high end fixtures for decorating. It's in a higher end part of the city and I'm sure the rent is too dollar .... and all in all the price I feel is reasonable . You know what they say , " you get what you pay for ". Although it was more expensive than i usually pay , I have ZERO complaints . I may also note , it's been close to a year since I've had nail services , and I'm sure this industry isn't immune to price hikes and inflation. So my past price a year ago probably isn't a fair comparison . The shop small but beautiful . It's in a new residential apartment complex , with all the lower levels filled with businesses . I actually didn't know there was hidden jewels like this back here ! I even found a little bakery next door , and got a bunch of high calorie goodies I really didn't need . WARNING: Spend your money somewhere else!!! I have been coming to this nail salon for at least 6 months. Although they're over priced I've come out of convenience. Today I decided to treat my boyfriend to a pedicure. I usually get the pamper me option but today we elected to go with the classic for the sake of time. Strike 1- After my boyfriend's pedicure was finished I asked them to scrape his heels more because they left a bunch of dead skin. They told me I needed to pay for extra time. Strike 2- Their menu of service includes a hot stone massage with the classic service, however, they argued with me that was incorrect, and their NEW menu was wrong. Are you serious! I advised them that because the service is included on their menu I would like to receive the hot stone massage. At this point it became a big thing because they did not want to do the service as advertised. They then proceeded to collect all of their menus and begin crossing out the hot stones under the classic service. TACKY They all became defensive when in all actuality they're in the wrong. DO NOT go here if you value good service and being treated fairly. With today's economy we work too hard to just throw money away to people who do not even value their loyal customers. My appointment was at 915, I arrived 919 after calling the salon and letting them know I was running late, with and eta of 920. They told me to come. Two people doing nails, everyone who walked in stating they had appointments were seated for some time during my wait, they are probably still waiting as I type this. I wasn't offered a complimentary drink during my wait, as the site stated being that my services totaled $105. ($85 and up gets complimentary drink) At 9:57 i asked the young man at the first booth how much longer my wait would be, as my appointment was 915, he stated "maybe 15 more minutes you were late." Without asking why they would tell me to still come when I called to tell them I'd be less than 5 minutes late, I left. They are accepting appointments to keep people there, without the staff to render the services they accept appointments for.
