I came here on a Saturday evening since I saw that they have kwek kwek and that I have been craving for this. I was a little disappointed. It tastes like the oil they used was old you can taste it from the rest of the food we ordered like crispy pata and the Calamares as well. Also the crispy binagoongan, the meat was so hard like they just preheated this. At least I can say the ginataang sitaw with shrimp was decent. I wanted to complain because it's pricey there and I wasn't happy with the food. We didn't even take our left overs to go. Also they do charge 20 percent service fee which you don't see when they let you sign the bill on their iPad.

Noypitz Bar & Grill offers a fun and energetic dining experience, especially if you're looking for great Filipino food paired with live entertainment. During our visit, we ordered the grilled isaw, mangga at bagoong, pork sinigang, kare kare, and garlic fried rice. The standout combination for me was the garlic fried rice with the pork sinigang. The sinigang had that perfect balance of sour and savory flavors that really hit the spot, and paired with the garlicky rice, it was easily the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere is lively and festive, with a live band and stage for dancing. If you're looking for a quiet dinner conversation, this probably isn't the place, as it gets very loud once the entertainment starts. They do offer patio seating if you prefer outdoor dining, and there are private event spaces available for parties and special occasions. Unfortunately, service was the weakest part of the experience. Despite having plenty of staff on the floor, everything moved much slower than expected. From waiting for a clean table, getting seated, placing our order, and finally receiving our food, the entire process took quite a while. Flagging down staff to add items to our order was also difficult. My advice: don't come here starving. Order everything you think you'll want when your server first comes by because getting additional items later can be challenging. The food and atmosphere make it worth a visit, but patience is definitely required.

First review in 2026. 01.18.2026 Still the place to go after watching a movie or sports at the long beach town center. Good food but needs to up the portion size. The portion sizes are too small for the asking price. Clean establishment, nice ambiance. Karaoke available on certain days. Plenty of parking. Spacious restaurant that can accommodate large parties. I would come back if I am in the area. Price is alittle $$ . Overall, good place to grub.

This review is based on a private event I recently attended. My GodMom decided this was the place to celebrate her birthday. As far as I know, all she did was take a headcount of attendants, assign them to tables, then informed the staff how many to expect and what she wanted (food, decor, music, etc.) Staff took care of everything from there and yes - it was a success. Everything was amazing: food was great, music was great, and company was great! I would consider this place for a private event should I (or anyone I know) plan on one in the future. This review will be updated once I try them out during their regular service. Good times!

Great place! Great food & nice ambiance! Their Turon with ube ice cream is really good. Their service is good and the owner Jessie is very friendly.

I came for my aunt's 70th birthday, and let me tell you--the food was hella good! It was an extensive Filipino buffet, and overall, the spread was impressive. However, there was a funny mishap in the kitchen--someone put out cold, uncooked mozzarella sticks, haha. Despite that, the buffet had everything you could want: mozzarella sticks, egg rolls (lumpia), rice, garlic rice, noodles (pancit), pinakbet, fried fish, pork adobo, pork liempo (grilled pork), fried chicken, chicken curry, kare-kare, beef steak, lechon, fried bananas, and all the typical side fixings like vinegar, banana ketchup, sweet and sour sauce, and sweet chili sauce. I ATE EVERYTHING The venue itself was cuuute--so pretty, and they usually have a live band that adds to the lively atmosphere. The servers were really friendly, and the place stayed nice and cool throughout the event. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this spot if you're craving Filipino food or need a venue for a celebration. They have many locations all over, making it easy to find a convenient spot.

Came here for lunch to celebrate my cousin's birthday. It's more of an event venue, rather than a restaurant. They serve traditional Filipino food, family style. We had the grilled platter and the bbq platter with appetizers. Both were delicious. The only thing that would make it even better and give it that extra umph is if they served covered the platter with banana leaves. The servers were so attentive, and even put my cousins name on the projector wishing him a happy birthday. My family and I had a great time here, and recommend the place for bigger groups. One thing to note is that they do not have a full bar, so no cocktails available - only beer and wine.

This place charges 20% extra on your bill if it is on a night they have a live band playing. None of the staff communicated this to us when we first walked in or anytime during our meal. It was only mentioned at the end when the bill came and said the notice was on a small sign behind the front desk. During our dinner, the band was doing their sound track and I found it too loud and distracting. I couldn't even talk with my companions during dinner because it was obnoxiously loud. I will definitely not be coming back here and will tell all my friends and family to never come here. A very annoying and disappointing experience.

Came on a Saturday for lunch, it happened to be just after their breakfast buffet, so the place wasn't super busy. First thing we noted was that there was butcher paper on top of the white tablecloths and the one we were seated at had crumbs and were wrinkled in some places (indicating condensation from water cups).. so they were clearly used.. which was kind of gross. Then we noted how awkward the ordering process was for people who aren't familiar with Filipino cuisine. There's a big picture menu (with no prices) & a paper menu where you write in your order. So if you're trying to calculate how much your meal will be, you keep having to go back and forth between the two menus. Also, neither menu had descriptions of what each item was.. so we were googling most things or asked the server. So just the ordering process itself was time consuming & a bit frustrating. We ended up getting the fried rice, beef stew, & a vegetable dish. The fried rice and vegetable dish were pretty good, but not a fan of the flavor of the beef stew & the meat was a little chewy and not "melt in your mouth" like you would expect with a stew. Service was a bit slow. Oh, & there's a 3% surcharge for using credit cards (one of my biggest pet peeves). Overall okay experience, food was 3.5, but rounding down for the dirty table, lack of description in the menus, & CC surcharge.

Our family came here with our Korean friends who wanted to try Filipino food. Our server named Val was very helpful and accomodating. Our food was served hot and deliciously good. The place was spacious, clean and had a good ambiance. We definitely will come back here.

I finally got to visit their new location and even though it's under new management, the food is still really good. Their Lumpia Shanghai is crispy and delicious. And their Inihaw na Baboy is one of my favorites - all meat, no fat.

It was my first time dining here for an event with my relatives. This place is huge! They have two separate dining areas divided by an open bar. One side has a stage for performances. It definitely is perfect for big gatherings and events. We got served several dishes including stable Filipino dishes like the pancit, lumpia, sisig, kare-kare and lechon. Everything was delicious and seasoned well! I ate so much that I was super full towards the end. It was definitely satisfying and it hit the right spot! The servers were all attentive, and food was served right away.

We stopped by late Saturday night and were able to snag an immediate walk-in at the bar at Hao Peng You, which is the intimate speakeasy portion of Midnight Oil. The decor definitely reminded me of my grandparents' house in Taiwan, with vintage, ornate wooden chairs, dragon/lion statue carvings, and even a historic century old marital bed that had been repurposed into a booth. The drinks were also VERY unique, with my favorite being Hua sheng (literally meaning peanut), which was crafted from a nostalgic childhood peanut milk drink. All our cocktails were crafted very well, to the point where I thought they were a bit on the lighter side since I couldn't really taste the alcohol. This section does get really busy though and only had one bartender who is making/serving drinks and taking orders, so do expect a bit of a wait. Overall, highly recommend checking out this vibey vintage Taiwanese-inspired speakeasy (that my inner history nerd was so excited about), and I'll definitely be back to try their food items as well as their two other bar/restaurant concepts!

What I really appreciate is that sometimes it's even kid-friendly, which makes it a great option if you're not just going out solo or with friends. I've been coming around since back when it was Iguana Kelly's, and it's been cool to see how the place has evolved while still keeping that local, neighborhood feel. The location is super easy to find, right next to a donut shop and a mechanic, and across the street you've got a 7-Eleven, Subway, and a few other small spots. Plus, Tommy's Burgers and an Arco are right nearby, so everything you might need is within reach. I tried both the cucumber mixed drink and the mango mixed drink, both were really good, but I personally preferred the cucumber one. It's less sweet and way more refreshing, especially if you're not into overly sugary drinks. We also had a BBQ chicken pizza that they cook in a fire oven (I think it's called a wood-fired pizza), and it was really good, definitely worth trying if you go. Service was good During the outdoor event, they had things set up really well, including a sign that read "21 and over beyond this point only," which helped keep things organized. They also had jumpers outside for the little ones to enjoy, along with tables and chairs so everyone could hang out comfortably. Parking can be a bit tight in their lot, but there's always street parking if you take a minute to read the signs. Overall, it's a great hangout spot with a welcoming atmosphere and something happening more often than not. Definitely worth checking out.

All things considered, I'd come back to give it another try because it seems like a really solid spot otherwise, and we may have caught it on an off day.

Definitely worth it! The vibes are unmatched. It's a unique blend of "top notch cocktail crafting" and "beer and a hot pretzel after work." You can dress up, you can dress down, it's very 'just be yourself' which I love. I've literally had caviar AND hot dogs there in the same night at an event. They know how to blend high/low. Incredible knowledge and ingredients but not snooty patootie. Super inclusive and fun, with cool popups and events happening all the time. It's a full bar so you can get any cocktail you would normally order if you're keeping it simple, or beer, wine, boilermakers, etc. There's a span of offerings and price points, so something for everyone. It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.
