This is like very American greasy second-rate food because there is also no thanks here that are gluten-free and my family has a lot of gluten-free folks in it it is not natural for us to be eating GMO's where we are from so I think that you need to get more gluten free options. We've given this place three tries in the last two weeks. First time turned away at the door at 7:48 saying the kitchen was closed at eight. We said we would order right away. The waitress said 'well no it's closed now because we're on bar time.' She suggested we go to Applebee's. We did. 2nd time. Nachos has dried stale chicken meat and service was so-so We tried one more time today. We sat at the bar with Shawna as our waitress. She was rude and unfriendly and ignored us most of the time. We had to ask for our salad to come out first. She left for a cigarette break without even asking how our food was or checking if we needed anything more. She never did ask how our meal was. When she dropped off the check she tossed it on the bar and walked away without even looking at us or asking if we needed anything. Absolutely horrible. Left us sitting with our uncleared dirty plates until the time we left. We will not give this place another try. read more

This was the greasiest meal I have ever had the displeasure of trying to eat. Tums didn't work and 12 hours after the attempt to consume it, my stomach is still burning. Our usual place in Sequim was overpacked so we decided to try this place. So glad we did, delicious Bloody Mary's, my husband had the western burger basket and said it was delicious, I had a Reuben and the Hungarian prime rib and mushroom soup. Got the special of the night..prime rib. Arrived ice cold. Had to ask for a box because after food was dropped off nobody came back around. Didn't get a refill on ice tea either. Also ordered a patty melt, the bread was good but that's about it. No flavor in the meat and not even one onion in the whole sandwich. It was our first time there and we definitely will not be back. Kept waiting for Gordon Ramsey to pop out of the kitchen and start yelling "Stop don't eat it, kitchens closed" Restaurant felt dirty, sticky tables. Great bar good folks! Spent some time with Jeremy (the bartender) and some locals had a great time and would recommend it to anyone in town.

We came across this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. After pulling up and seeing the outside, I had second thoughts, especially when it said it was kid friendly. We walked in and it was just your average pub with restaurant tables. Little to our surprise, the reviews were right. The food was awesome, and super generous portions. Very cost friendly on the wallet, and the staff was friendly, COViD-19 safety and fast. The prime rib chili was awesome, as were the wings. The chef salad was huge and everything was very fresh. They make their own croutons and dressing, which I was very excited about. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch or dinner!!! read more

We have been in the area for a month but just found this gem last night. Stopped by for the taco special, $1 tacos were good, but we were intrigued by one of the appetizers. We ordered the Polenta poutine - an interesting blend of fried polenta sticks with cheese curds on top covered in a rich brown gravy. It was really good and filling, best shared with a friend. Came back again tonight - had to try the 50 cent wings. They were ok, but the breaded ones just aren't my thing. The other special was pork ribs for $1.50 each, they were fall off the bone tender and very flavorful. Service was slow but not due to the servers, just two bartender/ waiters for 45-50 people. We have been going to the Oasis for years. Great food and atmosphere. Sadly, we will not be patrons there anymore. The price of politics I guess. And health guidelines, to protect us all, are not political. To make them political is prolonging this miserable pandemic and all of its costs. We just had dinner there this last weekend. Place was packed. They didn't even ask for proof of vaccination so i have to assume the owner's priorities are elsewhere in filing suit against the proof of vaccination requirements. This was really an unexpected gem of a find. We got lost and landed here in need of food with a van full of hungry kids (5 and under) in the late afternoon. It wasn't much to look at from the outside, but when we were seated next to the America tree and the fireplace I knew this southern native visiting friends in the PNW was among his ppl. Everyone enjoyed the food, including the worlds pickiest 3yo. He gave it two thumbs up, or the actual equivalent of eating three fries and a bite of his grilled cheese. So I call in my order on a Wednesday evening, which they take and then advise me it will take 50 minutes to get ready. I thank them and tell them I will see them then. Figuring they must be slammed I give them an hour and 10 minutes. When I walk in the door the waitress is telling the people in front of my that it will take an hour to get any food. Sure am glad I called ahead. The hostess tells me to go the bar to get my to go order. As soon as I get there and give my name I am presented with a bill for my food. I look around and don't see any bags, I asked the server when my food would be ready. She says she'll check. She talks to the cooks in the window, brings out food for another patron, stops to check if another table wants more drinks and then proceeds to go pour those beers. I walk up to her and ask her if she found out when my food is going to be ready. She replies "uh they didn't give me an answer". Disgusted with her lack of customer service I give her back her bill and walk out. Then I think, wait did she even ask them? So I go ask them and the poor guys in the back pick up a link of receipts that have kicked out of their machine that has to be at least 30 tickets long and I can see they are so far into the weeds that they can't find their way out with a box of road maps and a 12 man wrecking crew. About that time I am scolded by an irate bartender and admonished that I am not allowed to talk to the people that are supposed to know whats going on. Well now its actually an hour and 25 minutes of my life that I gave up waiting for this food and that is more than enough. No concern for the customer was exhibited by anyone other than the overworked cooks. Somehow, these servers think that their customers have to put up with their lousy customer service. I thought it was real cute the way they wanted me to pay for my food right away but they had no idea of when I would receive it. I wonder if they have the seated customers pay for their food in advance too? The food here is typically not bad, but the service is terrible and totally un-apologetic about it. read more
