That garlic crab alone is enough to come back to. Wow..it was soooo good and flavorful. Probably the best blue crab I've ever had and I'm from Maryland lol. Went to The Office based on recommendation from a friend. It's a good 25 min walk from the cruise port, through downtown and up a little hill. We walked it in perfect weather in December, so I imagine it would be a tougher walk in the hotter months. The restaurant itself is literally on Medano Beach. In fact, as a bigger guy, my chair sunk about half a foot into the sand, so be aware of that. The place is definitely designed and priced for tourists. While the location and service is amazing, don't expect to come here and save money. It's not like Vegas pricey, but expect around 50 bucks a person for food and drinks. Well worth the experience in my opinion. We probably got a bit lucky because we walked up without a reservation and they sat the 5 of us right at the beach in less than 5 min during an extremely busy time. You have to either ignore the vendors selling funny but obscene products or just go with it and have a great time. They will walk up from the beach and if you make eye contact with them they will hound you relentlessly. All good fun though. The food was definitely quality. The calamari app was literally the best I've ever had. Huge fresh pieces that seemed like they were caught in the morning. My wife got the signature coconut shrimp served in a coconut shell. Massive shrimp with super crunchy breading. My fish tacos were very good, almost more than I can eat and my son's burritos made me wish I ordered them along with my tacos. Overall, The Office hits all the check marks. Location- check, Service- check, Food and drinks- check. I would definitely come here again. Next time I would just bring beach stuff to hit the beach right after. We were exhausted after the walk and tons of food so the restaurant arranged for a taxi to take us back to the port. We had the greatest time! May 20th 2026. My wife's birthday and we did it right 11:30 am and started with chips and guacamole plus buckets of beer and margaritas and fireball shots. Next course was shrimp and tuna over avocado salads. Amazing. Then steak tacos and jumbo fried shrimp. Add mariachi and Rambo shots and it was great success. Service is perfect. The beach setting and instagramable scene are very appealing to get you in. Definitely a place for tourists. It is on the pricier side for not being an indoor traditional nice sit down meal. As long as you have that expectation going in, it is a fun spot to go at least once in Cabo. We did have reservations so didn't have to wait. Was around sunset which was nice. Staff are all very friendly, speak English, and helpful if you had any menu questions. The food: they do have large portions so if you are getting any of the mixed plates you could probably share. Guacamole was fresh and what I expected. Comes with pico de gallo which is nice and will bring extra chips if needed. I had the jumbo shrimp which were grilled. Nothing to knock your socks off, but good. Most things came with rice, beans, and caprese salad which I found interesting. My frozen mango margarita was ok but nothing special. Wish I would have gotten a regular on the rocks one. Ended up not finishing the whole thing. Everyone else enjoyed their meal, but also did not finish. Corn tortillas are homemade so if you're used to store bought these will be different, softer/a little thicker, and can really taste the corn. The only other slight annoyance was the competing music from the beach club next door + The Office's music made it hard to have a good conversation or hear your group. The place is definitely a vibe -- the décor and the waving flags from the open roof give it such a colorful, Mexico-inspired feel. We came as a group of girls for my best friend's bachelorette, and it was such a fun atmosphere. Tip: ask to sit on the lower side so you can be right on the beach with sand under your feet -- it's a whole different vibe. They also have live music, which adds to the energy. I will say the vibes are better than the food and drinks, but if you're coming for the atmosphere, it's worth the visit. read more

We got many dishes but the stand out items were caesar salad (prepared tableside, even the dressing!), the Octopus & Ajillo sauce, and the Shrimp Ceviche. First off, highly recommend making a reservation. This place is amazing and seats fill quickly. I normally travel alone so finding a spot at the bar was my saving grace. I promise I ordered food, and I know it was great, but with the view, I totally spaced taking pictures. The drinks were good, the food was amazing. The view was spectacular. The staff were great as well. I was asked to move places so a group could sit down together, which I gladly did. The waiter gave me a free drink for helping him out. The office is such a classic - how can you not love it?! Right off the beach, amazing service, and yummy food. Immediately upon being seated our server repositioned our table to make us more comfortable - as I said, top notch service. Portions are huge and yummy. Fish tacos are a must have. Calamari portion was huge. Coconut shrimp were the star of the show. It doesn't get much better than having the sand in your toes while enjoying a yummy meal. The one downside to the office is that you have beach vendors screaming at you the entire time you are eating... but once you move past that the ambiance is great. read more

It's a wild scene at this Spring Break epicentre where college girls get drunk, silly and do stupid things celebrating their first vacation without mom and dad. Like an out of control frat party, someone is bound to vomit, pass out or get hurt here, as a mob of beach vendors and locals intrude in on your meal to insist you purchase the trinkets and trash they are selling. The food, at this beachfront restaurant isn't bad though. My Tampequeño steak was quite delicious, as was the tableside-made Caesar salad. So if you can go with the flow, accept the scene for what it is, you'll have a fun experience, and enjoy some very good food! read more

Ive been to The Office multiple times over the years, but this visit was unacceptable. Food took over 45 minutes. We were almost late to our dolphin excursion because of it. Staff showed zero awareness or urgency despite us making it clear we were on a timeline. To make it worse, they never arranged the water taxi they said they would, and when the bill came, the server switched between USD and pesos pricing to make it confusing. Had to sort that out while already rushing out the door. I get that it's a beach restaurant in Cabo, but 45 minutes for food with no communication isn't "island time," it's just bad service. Went here for my birthday which was fun! The food is absolutely delicious! The shrimp quesadilla is a def must order. The shrimp was buttery along with the cheese melted on the tortilla. Ingredients were fresh. The steak was absolutely tender, soft, flavorful, and just melts in your mouth. The view was fantastic here however it does get loud because there's a club next door and the restaurant plays music as well. The ambiance is fun and the staff is super friendly. Cons: well they made me pay for my birthday cake, which is unfortunate. You'd think you'd get a complimentary cake for your birthday.... We were in Cabo on 5/5/26 with a cruise ship and while returning on the water taxi we asked for a recommendation to get something to eat. They recommended the office and since it looked good, we stopped in to eat. I had the Ceviche, my Brother had beans and rice and we shared chips with salsa and guacamole. It was all good (a bit pricey) but that's to be expected. This was about 3pm and the next morning about 630 am I started feeling it. We were supposed to go on a 4 wheeler excursion that day but I passed since I wasn't feeling good. About 830am all hell broke loose and thank God I wasn't on the excursion when it hit. This lasted for about 8 hours until I was finally able to see the nurse on the ship. It was definitely food poisoning and before you ask how I could be so sure, three things: I was the only one that ate the Ceviche and we shared everything else and my Brother was fine. You just know it in your gut when you think about it and there was obvious physical evidence. Lastly, it's all I ate that day. Maybe I was a one-off but to miss several days of a cruise and actually be banished to my room due to the severity of it, that's pretty upsetting. Just be careful out there and I would stay away from the Ceviche. read more

So many people recommended The Office when we said we were going to Cabo and I did not love of it. Sure, you can sit in the sand, but you can barely see the ocean because there are so many vendors trying to catch your attention that you don't really get to enjoy the ocean view. I recommend sitting on the deck for a better sight line, especially if you're with kids because there are some extremely inappropriate bandanas that are waved around. Luckily my nephew can't read yet. We ordered margaritas and guacamole with chips and salsa which were all delicious. The shrimp Caesar salad was also really good and they make it fresh at your table, including the dressing which was fun to experience. Do not, DO NOT, order the oysters. We thought - beach town, they can't be bad. They were not served on ice so they were warm and after each trying one, my husband and I could not fathom trying another. We sent them back and while the server questioned us and continued to smell them as he walked away, he was luckily nice enough to remove them from the bill. If you want to party, this is the place for you! They have a person whose job is to literally walk around and pour shots in your mouth and shake your head around so you get the full effect. We visited mid-day so I'd try it again closer to the evening when we're in a bigger party mode and just come for drinks. read more

We love the office on the beach. We come usually twice a year on a getaway because Baja California is a short plane ride and we love that. It's also just beautiful. We've come so often that people are recognizing us regularly now at the office and we know the weight staff as well. There's a guy that's a fireman that works there and he wears his uniform in case he gets a call and has to leave. The food is absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. They're plating is on point with tortilla bowls for refried beans, gorgeous presentation. We had the coconut shrimp this time. The most enormous fresh shrimp presented beautifully. So much food. We were full before our entrées came. Entrées were steak tampiquena (sp?) and the whole fried fish with the head, fins and tail attached. It was a red snapper. Just delicious with tortillas and all the lovely sides. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made a big deal. They came and gave us complementary shots with the Bandito that walks around with tequila on his holster plus gave us a special dessert with fireworks coming out of it. Highly recommend for a good time and delicious drinks and food. Reservations are recommended because they are very, very busy! The tortilla/Aztec soup is also very very special. read more

The Office is located in the heart of Médano beach, this place is definitely a tourist trap! I reckon it's probably the most popular restaurant on this side of the beach. It was always packed even when we walked past. It was full when we came and only had bar seating available. The food is very good, but also very expensive, especially for Mexico and considering this is more of a fast casual restaurant. A meal for two, will easily put you at $100. Same deal with the drinks - really good but also really expensive! I'm talking Sin City & Big Apple prices... Overpriced #adulting: ~ Custom drink - 5/5 The mixologist...that's right not the bartender made me a custom made drink that didn't have a name. He certianly knew what he was doing, took him about 5 minutes to craft it...smoked Rosemary with Mezcal. EXCELLENT!! However at $18 it was NOT a friend to my wallet...remember this is Mexico. Time of this review 17 Pesos to a $1! Tourist Trap!! ~ Pina Colada - 4.5/5 A brilliant Pina Colada. Text book definition of what a Pina Colada is... We were getting hungry, and wanted to grab some lunch. But we arrived here at 10AM, and we were handed to breakfast menus. I honestly wanted lunch, but the chilaquiles didn't sound to bad. Just when we were about to order, our server did ask us if we were interested in their lunch menu. I of course said hell yeah, or actually it was "si, por favor". The location is right on the sand. It's covered, which is perfect for the best and the server was great. My wife ordered their Shrimp Tacos with Cheese. These looked good but the dish wasn't for me. You get three tacos with sautéed shrimp with garlic, onions, tomatoes and peppers on top of Monterrey cheese. While they did taste good, I wouldn't necessarily consider these tacos. The way they were made this would fit into the category of a quesadilla with corn tortillas. Definitely not a taco in my opinion. I ordered their Grilled Fish Tacos. I was given the choice between tuna or sea bass. I opted for their sea bass. These were served in flour tortillas and I must say, hands down the best grilled fish tacos I have ever had. The sea bass was seasoned with fine herbs and olive oil. The fish was honestly perfect with just the tortilla. The four tortilla was soft and tasted fresh. I tried adding some pico de Gallo and salsa on one of the tacos and it took away the amazing flavor I had gotten on my first bite. Next time I see myself in Cabo, best believe I'll be returning for these tacos. read more
