Very disappointed. We've been coming here over 15 years when on vacation for every breakfast we could. Came back after 5 years and the experience was terrible. $27 for french toast USD is crazy. The dish was good, but not for that price. My family members dishes were not great either, Their omelette was almost like a "eggroll" omelette. Thin layer of fake tasting egg and the rest was ham. After our glass boat excursion, we were hungry for some tacos and margaritas. The Office is located at the beachfront with seatings right at the beach. We were lucky to walk-in without a wait. The drinks are delicious, the food tastes amazing. The portion is generous. I love the warm service, casual and fun ambiance. I saw a guy walking around giving out shots to customers by pouring alcohol to their mouth and shake their heads for a good mix. We were two couples and both had the machaca and chilaquiles for breakfast -- and everything was excellent. The food was much tastier than the usual run-of-the-mill spots, and the service was friendly and attentive. Prices for breakfast were reasonable, not outrageous like some places nearby. We were there on a Thursday night, which apparently is something akin Mexican heritage tonight. Beautiful costumes and what I believe to be authentic dancing. And then a piñata, musical chairs for the wedding parties and a push-up contest for the buffed dudes. The food was surprisingly good for what it's clearly a tourist trap. This restaurant is located right on the beach. My husband had oysters and added just a small drop of the habanero sauce and he said they were the best oysters he's ever had. This place was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful spot by the beach and wonderful view of the famous Cabo rocks. Our group of 7 got seated right away and servers were very attentive and accommodating. The guacamole & ceviche were freshly made and the best I've ever had. I ordered the fish tacos and the fish pieces were huge! Super tasty and fresh. My daughter loved her cute kids meal that came with a fun paper boat. My friend ordered the coconut shrimps.. it was beautifully decorated.. too pretty to eat! Of course they were delicious as well. Drinks were good sizes and portions were on the larger side. The office has one of the best ceviches I have ever had. Sadly, they only have it for lunch. The coconut shrimp is a must if you want an appetizer. The fajitas were good and they bring you the most delicious tortillas, it's a great dish to share. The only disappointing dish which was also ridiculously expensive was the jumbo prawns, they are stuffed with cheese and peppers and wrapped in bacon, sounds great but the flavor was off. Drinks are good but I only tried the piñada, the piña colada and the passion fruit margarita. The ambiance is awesome, you get to sit right on the beach, toes in the sand and all and the service is super attentive, they seem to assign 2 servers to each table so they are on top of everything! read more

My first visit here was in 1998 and it had only plastic furniture on the beach and barely a sign. Back then we would sit in the plastic furniture sinking into the sand while boats a fisherman came directly up to the waiters and cooks, and show them what they had caught. When that happened we got first hand look at the fresh shrimp and said Yep will order that and eat that. Then the cook who is cooking right in front of you on a cooktop with no formal kitchen. Would I ask you how you wanted it cooked This was amazing!!! Now, my most recent visit in 2023, was quite a surprise as this place is changed immensely. They now have actual structures, actual kitchen, buildings, real solid, furniture, decorations, etc. you name it I was even more surprised that I had to make a reservation. This place as usual is just as lively and just as packed and the service was absolutely amazing just like it was in 1998. They are super kind to you not because you're a tourist and spending money. They are super kind because that is who they are quite frankly they don't need my money or Quite a handful of people because their reputation speaks for themselves. Come to find out they are part of a larger restaurant conglomerate of the area, which is nice to see that they have grown as far as a business is The food is jus as fresh and delicious and authentic! Pricing is still very fair, considering how popular the places and how much it has grown. Still cheaper than eating at the hotel or the resort. Portions are super generous. You cannot go wrong here. Tourist Trap - Thats it. This place is the most popular dinner restaurants in all of Cabo for the vibe and beach location. We visited in summer last year, walked in and even though they had plenty of vacant tables the servers were not willing to seat us and kept mentioning a 2 hour wait while they let a few others walk in without a reservation and promptly seated them. We let it go and approached another server who was kind to give us a table. After this we are constantly looking for servers to take our order and nobody is attending to us cos they are busy attending to seemingly rich tourists. Finally one server took our order and we got our food after a long wait. We loved the chicken & shrimp fajitas but everything else was okay nothing amazing especially considering the price. The drinks were good too. Love that they have nice song and dance going on with all the Mexican vibes. But I would stay away from this touristy trap as there are places with better food who treat customers better. read more

Great views of the beach while you have lunch. We ordered 2 margaritas, shrimp ceviche, and the chips & guess. Overall the food and drinks were good. Service was good. We paid just under $90 which is insane for Mexico IMO. This wouldn't cost this much even in Miami. All the other places on the beach are equally expensive so I guess it's just Cabo and not specific to this place. We did enjoy our food and drinks here over any of the other places we went though. read more

Beach vendors are pretty much in your face trying to sell you things, making it awkward since they're watching you eat from the edge of the restaurant. Then theres musicians allowed inside the restaurant, who hound you to pay for them to play you a song. read more

Lively atmosphere by the water. I preferred their surf and turf to other places we have tried in Cabo. Shrimp wasn't overcooked nor the steak. The fish was a little dry and flavorless but not as bad as being overly salted. I was also a huge fan of the rice and their blended passion fruit drink was refreshing with the right amount of tartness. The banana dessert comes out with a whole production of cooking it in sugar and alcohol flambé served with vanilla ice cream. I think if you really like cooked banana then this is for you, but it was a little mushy for my liking. I've never had a chocolate crème brûlée before and it was tasty. Service was pretty good but the price increases in the past few years makes this definitely a stretch in terms of value. I kept hearing about this place and just had to try it! My bf & I went on a Wednesday night for dinner. Overall we had a really good experience and the service was on point! They were playing salsa music and as the night continued had a live band. To start off we both got classic margaritas. They were big & on the strong side in my opinion but had great natural lime flavor. They start you with chips and two kinds of salsa. The tomato salsa was refreshing while the green one had the perfect amount of spice. For our app we had the calamari. It comes with fries, it's a large portion that can feed & fill 2. For my main plate I had the sea bass tacos. They were pretty good, I just didn't like how oily my tortillas were. My boyfriend got the fried red snapper, which was delicious! Overall I would definitely return. The portions are big & the vibe is really fun. The view is also beautiful. Lots of drunk people in the bathrooms. Beware when they start breaking out the whistles and shots. They run a Water taxi I think to bring people from Marina and cruise ships. This place has the key ingredients of a tourist trap with a very nice beach view and an overall exciting ambience. There's live music playing from many nearby places in addition to The Office and the servers are very attentive in all ways. The one thing that cannot be overlooked is the price of the food. My dish was $695 in pesos, which was on the slightly cheaper end of the menu and didn't even include seafood. The flavor was of course good and the dish was arranged well, but that does not justify its price tag. Another very unfair practice was that at the end, the waiter asked us if we'd like to do a 18, 20, or 22 percent tip. Especially as this place is in Mexico, I'd expect to see the option to have no tip, and certainly not 18% as the minimum. There was no room for haggling. Overall, I'd go here again if it was 3 times cheaper. I would not go here again for this price. read more

Last time there wasn't a sole in the place and this time there wasn't one single seat available other than at the bar which has zero view of the ocean. This place has been an icon for as long as I can remember and a fun little tourist stop while visiting Cabo.
