Service was great! Certainly didn't mind the pleasant nature of all of the staff as well. If there's anything you should try, it's the Apple pancake. It's an oven baked apple cinnamon pancake-ish thing, and it's worth the 35 minute wait. I got a pancake combo with sausage and eggs, and it was pretty good as well. However I would have definitely liked more food with it. The pancakes were pretty small with the meal and kinda thin. Otherwise than that, a very good experience. Overall, if you aren't going to try one of there two signature dishes, not sure it really pays to go there as it's on the more pricy side. read more

We ordered 12 breakfasts a day prior for 10am on Mother's Day and it took 2 hours because they were not prepared for The rush. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when we parked for curbside which made it longer due to that. Come to find they through eggs, bacon, pancake mix and orange juice in bags for us to cook. OMG we paid $130 to cook it ourselves. We could of bought everything ourselves for way less. I love this place but don't order when it's a holiday. read more

When you go out to breakfast, you do not want something you could have made at home. This IS NOT THAT!! The pancakes, the omelettes, the bacon, and the pièce de résistance: the DUTCH BABY, baby! Disappointed they discontinued serving buckwheat pancakes though they're still listed on their website menu. As the healthiest option on their menu this was always our go-to. They were really good which allowed us to overlook the higher prices and not so great coffee. Nothing against their other options but likely won't be returning for current menu. read more

Drove an hour from Peoria to come here on Easter Sunday. Called ahead but they don't accommodate to that but lady on the phone did recommend an app called NoWait. Works awesome! Waited about 5mins and got our table. Service was awesome considering it being on a Easter Sunday. Staff was very attentive! Food is great as usual. I ordered the western omelette w/ 3 pancakes. Omelette was so fluffy and not over cooked. Pancakes are my favorite! Wife ordered the Dutch baby, which I highly recommend. Just happened across this place. I took the line as a good sign to start. We are very impressed with everything from the politeness of the wait staff, bus boys and managers. Everyone was helping out to include the managers. That is something that I always look for if it's busy. They were clearing tables and sweeping the floors just like anyone else. Leading by example!! The overall Vibe of the place was very positive and upbeat The food was amazing. Our waitress Sophie was awesome. She was always smiling, very friendly and helpful with her recommendations. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is there is always room for improvement somewhere. I guess the only "negative" is the capacity. We joined the waitlist on our way to the restaurant and checked in when we got there. The waitlist said we were 40th in line and kept moving up but somehow everyone in the waiting room had left to be seated before us after sitting for 45mins. I asked what was going on and was told that since I "confirmed" the waitlist, our name on the computer system turned blue and "we don't sit those people yet". I asked what the point is to adding to the waitlist and was told "I...I'm not sure. They will call you soon". I am so confused........and pretty pissed off to be honest. Best orange juice I've ever had. Their bacon is also the best I've ever had. Thick and juicy. The main courses are pretty good. For being the OG pancake house their pancakes are just ok though. The strawberry syrup is very good but very hot. The Dutch baby is pretty good but ask the waiter how to prepare it because if you make it wrong it'll taste like garbage. Great food! I had the buttermilk pancakes and I always order two eggs over easy on top of the pancakes. Most other places don't listen and serve the eggs on the side. This order came up perfect. We did wait 30 minutes to get a table but hey, it's Sunday morning and they are super busy. I love the place for pancakes! They have a lot of gluten-free choices and I have tried the blueberry and pecan pancakes. They are delicious! I am only gluten sensitive, so I have not checked how strict they are in the kitchen on keeping utensils and cooking areas separate for the gluten-free choices. They brought out blueberry syrup for the blueberry pancakes at my request and suggested a citrus syrup for the pecan. Both were yummy! I am not a big eater, so the last time I ordered a half order of pancakes and it was plenty for me. Adding sides and a beverage can really up the cost.
