These taste delicious! They are not overly creamy nor overly sweet. You have lots of options..... chocolate, coffee, taro, mango+++++, and plenty of add ons. The shop is super cute with tables inside and then 2 tables outside to enjoy our weather when it's just right, like right now. Wow this place provides you with huge and scrumptious Mexican paletas full of toppings of your choice and dipped in chocolate (white or dark or both). Went there with the family since it's spring break and we were out and about for a treat. And what a huge treat we got! When we came in they were super friendly and guided us through the options. When we sat to chat and enjoy the paleta he followed up to check if we were enjoying & that was really nice. It's pretty good just know that the serving is very shareable in my opinion unless you want your own, no problems with that! We crave Taro from asian desert places, and since this area doesn't have much of it, we were very excited to try it here. This was the perfect hit of Taro for us - Paleta, we see you! It wasn't too sweet, had nice mix of crunchy white chololate and coconut topping half dipped. A++++++ The beautiful rainbow display of all the colorful pops will be a treat to see for any family with kids. The place is very clean, nice welcoming decor and very very pleasant staff. This is a slow plaza to be in so this small business needs all the support they can get. I ordered their Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and I have been hooked and order it a couple times a week. I've also had their paletas and nachos. Saw the signage from the parking lot while coming out of another store and my curiosities were piqued. The fella behind the counter was very friendly and energetic in greeting me. Its not a big shop and there are only about a dozen flavors of paletas but I couldn't decide so I got two! They offer toppings and dips like chocolate but I wanted to try them plain as is. Both the Coconut and Pistachio pops were excellent and creamy in texture. The coconut one had real shavings of coconut and the pistachio one had crushed pistachios. The Paleta Bar is a great concept in Chandler Heights. I love the variety of popsicle flavors along with the different dips and toppings. We had cookies and cream that was complete with actual cookies in a rich and creamy popsicle. Then we did a half dip of milk chocolate topped off with sprinkles and cookie crumbles. The ice cream is very creamy and doesn't taste like it's loaded with extra sugar. The service is just as great as well. They are very inviting and it feels more like going to a friends house than walking into a business. All of my kids are shy for the most part but they get excited to see whoever may be working that day. It was really good the strawberries tasted fresh and hand a nice firmness to eat. The crema was perfect not too sweet and the perfect consistency. I added granola in mine and it was sooo good. The owners and family of this Mexican Ice Cream parlor are top notch people that only worry about one thing, your experience in this wonderful kid like wonderland!
