I came back for a second visit and, unfortunately, this experience fell short. Even though I added my party to the Yelp waitlist, the actual wait time was much longer than what was communicated. The hostess seemed dismissive and too busy to even make eye contact, which didn't set a great tone. Our server (in the back room, I didn't catch his name) had a very dry personality, and overall the service felt low energy--almost like the staff was exhausted. It made the experience feel a bit unwelcoming. As for the food, the Lemon Ricotta pancakes were just okay. There were way too many blueberries, and the pancakes themselves weren't particularly memorable. The Philly hash was very dry, and even with the sauce, it didn't improve much. The French toast was the standout--definitely the best item we ordered. The matcha leaned heavily on the sweet side. This is also my second time trying drinks from their coffee menu, and unfortunately both experiences have been disappointing. They could really improve their coffee and latte process. The pancakes were really good although I'd have liked a wedge of lemon in the side to squeeze fresh lemon juice on them. They have this massive bar but only do mocktails. We tried them, but at $9 for a small glass, it mostly just felt like paying for expensive juice. It was so good, it tasted spiced and paired so well with the whip cream on the side. I also ate the breakfast flatbread. It was a unique blend of a flat bread and my eggs and arugula. I convinced my Dad and the hubs to drop by for brunch on a Sunday morning, and used the Yelp waitlist feature checking in about 40 minutes before my anticipated arrival. When we got there we were told it would be another 10-15 minutes before we could be seated, weekends are crazy busy here. I will note that after we sat down we were helped quickly and brought coffee and water. The restaurant was very crowded and loud, but in a cheerful way, and although the server appeared irritated, I suspected it was because of the kids running around in the small space. We ordered the Shashukkah, a Philly cheesesteak potato skillet and the Pantry breakfast combo. The coffee was decent and they have all types of fresh squeezed juices and a menu full of mocktails. I was tempted to my order one, but the prices were pretty steep for a glass of juice, syrup and soda. The plates of food were generous, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and crispy on the outside, yet creamy inside. My Shashukkah was great, the pepper tomato sauce had a little kick and the eggs poached perfectly. They serve beef bacon, and the hubs said it was delicious. On a Saturday morning the weekend before Christmas the wait wasn't too bad and the place was thriving with customers, the decor was very chic and comforting. Everything on the menu sounded so good, there were some items we thought we could make at home ex: avocado toast for the a fraction of the cost. So my sister and I tried The Pantry Benedict and Crab Benedict. Our cousin tried the Smoked Salmon Hash. My Son had the kids pancake bites and also had room for the Peppermint Mocha pancakes and Pistachio Toast. Everything looked so good when they came out, the Hollandaise sauce for both me and my sister was the first thing that blew us away. We didn't feel too full it was hearty and portioned well. My son's pancakes were bigger than expected but even the taste of the plain pancakes was delicious. The inside of the restaurant is an open concept and they have plenty of seating and also have a full bar. We got seated fairly quickly and were greeted right away by our waitress. She was really attentive to our questions and provided good options on what are the "favorites" of other patrons. We had the Pantry Combo and Philly Hash. Both entrees were cooked perfectly. The eggs and potatoes were done right and had really good flavor profile. One side note, the pantry combo is a bit on the lighter side with portions, was expecting a little bit more for the price. We also opted to "upgrade" to the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. They were delicious. Good amount of lemon flavor but not overpowering. Great food and friendly staff but the management needs to do better. The reason I mention management is because I witnessed the owner Sofyan and a lady that looked like she was in charge of staff almost yelling at their front desk because of a customer that arrived late and was unhappy about not being seated so he started yelling at the front desk. It was an uncomfortable situation and the fact that he got a table right away because he was being loud was discouraging to all of us patiently waiting for more than 30 minutes in the lobby area. This incident occurred on Sunday (11/31/25) around 11:30am. Besides the incident, the environment inside is too loud to enjoy a brunch so try to get a seat inside the green room. The staff are friendly and answered all the questions we had. Brought our orders pretty quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food here is really savory and delicious so was definitely worth the wait and the prices are justified. First off, I'd like to say that the food was amazing. The cooking and plating of the meal was great. I would change nothing there. Our waitress was helpful and did a good job. However, I noticed multiple other staff participating in unprofessional behaviors, including openly displaying frustration in conversation to each other and another drinking from an open coffee/latte beverage in the coffee bar area. Who doesn't like a good brunch spot?!? We decided to try The Pantry, since it's close to home, and it would be a great way to start off the weekend. This is one of those mixed emotions and experiences. The staff isn't very friendly. It's odd, and almost feels like the customer is interfering with their lives. We ordered the "daily" breakfast and the chicken and waffles. The breakfast came with meat, potatoes and pancakes. The meat was two meats. The portion definitely was not generous. While there was a choice, we ended up with one slice of beef bacon, and one chicken sausage. The beef bacon was very bland and not cooked very well. The sausage tasted like something out of the frozen section in the grocery store. The potatoes were not cooked all the way through and lacked seasoning and we ended up having to add salt and pepper, which is pretty disappointing. The pancakes were decent, but not something that I'd be willing to go back for. They had an unnecessary heaviness to them. The chicken and waffles... I'm pretty sure that this is what people flock here for. Pun intended. The waffle is really 2/4 of a full Belgian waffle. It's ridiculous. Why not just serve an entire waffle?! It was sadly underwhelming. It wasn't crisp, it wasn't fluffy, it was very mushy and just not edible. The chicken was a total surprise. Why? Because they served more than what we anticipated. The outside of the chicken, which I was expecting to have a kick to it was just pretty much salt and pepper seasoning. The menu read that it would have harissa, honey, and the combination of seasoning just sounded divine. I don't know where that chicken was, but that's not what we got. We did request additional hot honey in hopes that that would help with the flavor. The skin of the chicken, like I said, was tasty enough, but the actual meat of the chicken was bland. I'm not sure why seasoning seems to be an issue. How difficult is it to season, bread, and then fry the chicken?! This is what the customer craves. Tasty food. The Pistachio French toast was also a table favorite. Not too sweet and almost savory. It is small so if youre a fat asshole like myself this would be like ordering a dessert after an actual meal. All in all, we all said if we came back we would probably focus more on the savory items as those were all better and more worth their price points. We were the first guests on a Saturday morning after visiting family in the area and on our way to the airport. It was also the closest breakfast place to our hotel. Beautiful and bright, it's a welcoming place for breakfast. Jennifer was still unlocking doors, setting up for the day and invited us in with a cheerful good morning and hot coffee. We had our usual, eggs, potatoes and bacon. All of which was delicious. Instead of toast I had a pancake that was such a sweet treat compared to bread and butter. Yummy. It was a perfect day for brunch on the patio. I ordered the Crab Benedict with fresh fruit as my side. The crab was plentiful and seasoned well, while the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. My daughter had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was very tasty and complimented the waffles nicely. A little earthy, light spicy and the waffles were sweet. Really nice. I didn't know about this place until we google searched a spot near by for brunch after a sunday hike and i'm so glad we came here. we were able to get a table quickly by joining a waitlist a few minutes before getting there. it's vibey, clean, had great music playing. everyone was friendly and the manager came to check on everyone's tables. we ordered: chicken and waffles, breakfast flatbread, creme brulee french toast, a side of bacon, orange juice, and an iced caramel latte. our food came out quickly and it was all incredibly delicious. i would recommend everything we ordered. super flavorful and definitely tended to my "sweet and savory" craving. i will come back again to try more items on the menu! this might be my new favorite brunch spot :-) read more
