Great dinner spot! We came on a Thursday night and had about a 15 minute wait. The arancini appetizer was yummy I wish it came with more sauce though. The pizza was so good and of course we dipped it in ranch. The pesto pasta we split, you can tell the pasta and pesto were both fresh and homemade. I'd probably try a different one next time but it was good nonetheless. My gin drink was so so good, gin is my favorite and it was a nice summer mix. Our waitress was super friendly. The Parlor is so gorgeous !! From the entryway that also acts as a waiting area with the lemon trees surrounding you, to the inside that has a bar with high top seating on the right of the restaurant, and more formal dining space on your left. It makes for a perfect date spot and even classy celebration space. It is almost always packed so get there early to put your name down and wait. Parking is also super limited so keep that in mind. Now on to the food, the table ordered 3 dishes and a dessert with some drinks. The Fritto Misto is a combination of squid and shrimp. It's a classic dish that they did amazing with. The batter was light and crispy and always a great starter for the night. I paired it with a Red Sangria and my friend paired it with a white Sangria. They also served hot sencha green tea for my friend. It came in this cute red teapot! The Spicy BBQ chicken pizza was 100/10 !!! If you get anything from here, it has to be the pizza. This BBQ chicken pizza is not your usual fast food style. The grilled scallion and Serrano chili just adds such a refreshing kick to your taste buds. We demolished that pie in seconds !! The large Radiatori Pomodoro seemed to be a seasonal new item. Also 1000/10 !!! Tomato-y goodness. So simple yet it makes you appreciate the ingredients. The Radiatori noodles are so fresh. They purposely make it into this flower like shape. The texture is so playful to the mouth and tastebuds. The touch of parmesan and grated garlic adds that salt and aromatic to the noodles. And the big chunks of basil help cleanse the palate. we ended the meal with a birthday cake by ordering the perfect chocolate cake. The draft was so kind and sweet to add a candle to it and surprise the birthday guest of honor. This cake was made in a Bundt cake shape and HOLY CHOCOLATE MOLY. Super moist and fluffy ?! The raspberry puree/sauce with the cherry was the best combo ever !!! I highly recommend it. We had one more drink to end the night. It was the staycation that was not pictured and let's say they know how to get you ordering more. 9/10. Our total for a party of 3 was ~126 before tips. I did not check the box when I got it in the car, but I will tell you it was almost ICE COLD and we are only a five minute drive away I called the order in in the afternoon and said I would pick it up at 6:30 PM so I think they made the pizza at three in the afternoon and had it sitting on the counter until 630 . For our entrees, Hubby went with the same thing he had last time, Lemon Ricotta Ravioli. He loved it as much as he did before. I wanted to try something different, so I had the Lamb Agnolotti over a Parsnip Puree. It was delightful! I've never had a parsnip puree before, but it was really good!! As usual, the pasta is light and fresh (made daily). We also got an order of Focaccia to sop up any sauces left on the plates. Everything was wonderful!! So I went here for the pizza because I LOVE good pizza and was told to try The Parlor. So I sat at the bar, super cute vibe! Everyone was laughing and just throughly looked to be enjoying themselves. I was immediately greeted and given water and menu. I have a weird thing for wine glasses and they have the best! The white blend was very good! We had trouble deciding between two pizzas and unfortunately they are not able to do a half-and-half pizza, so we ended up getting a 10" barbecue chicken and a 10" autumnalle pizza. We also had a small raddichio salad. Everything was delicious! I would say that The Parlor is on the pricier end here for what you get, maybe $2-3 more than I think it's worth, but overall very good food and great service. This place has a great atmosphere! It used to be a beauty parlor (see the hair dryer chair in the women's bathroom), but has been transformed into a stylish bar and restaurant. You get an order sheet and check mark the items you want on your pizza, which is great to get exactly what you want. I chose feta cheese--who knew it would be so good on a pizza!?!? I wanted to come here after seeing this place on the yelp elite's top 100 pizza spots in the US. We walked in without a reservation on a Thursday night and had to wait about 25 ish minutes for a table. This place is super trendy and hipster with big open windows that let the fresh spring air flow through the restaurant. After we were seated, a waitress came by right away to take our drink order. They have a pretty big selection of craft cocktails so I was interested in trying one. I am a huge mezcal fan so I ordered the scarlet letter. Super tasty cocktail! Someone else at my table ordered the theodore after our waitress recommended it and I have to say... one of the best things I have ever tasted! SO SO GOOD. A PERFECT DRINK! We were actually really looking forward to having a couple of drinks while we waited for the food but our drinks ended up coming out AFTER our pizzas which also took a long time. Additionally, our waiter did not ask at any point if we wanted refills. For our pizzas we ordered the heriloom margherita, roma, and autonnale all in small size. The pizzas were good, but they all came out room temperature. Luckily, we were starving so we did not pay much mind to it. I was looking forward to a colorful pizza with the heirloom margherita pizza (as it is advertised that way) but ours were just red - although they were indeed very juicy! My favorite was the roma - loved the prosciutto on this! For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and fior di latte gelato. It was my first time trying fior di latte gelato.... so interesting how it actually does have a mozzarella after taste. I loved it! For 3 cocktails, 3 small pizzas, and two desserts the tab was ~$100 which I think was a great price. Overall I think this is probably a great restaurant and we just visited on the wrong day.
