This is probably the 2nd best food of any airport in the country (Root Down in DEN holding the number one slot). The prices are relatively reasonable asvit was about $30 for two tacos, the Brussels sprouts, and a pad Thai rice bowl. The sprouts are a highlight of the main location and just as great in the airport but they're better with gochujong, something notably absent from the airport. The cauliflower taco was amazing considering it was vegetarian and we will order it again. The banh mi taco is a good substitute for the prompt belly buns we love so much at the main restaurant. The pad Thai rice bowl was disappointing. It didn't have that much flavor and mostly just made me wish I was eating the crab pad Thai served for brunch at the main restaurant. We wouldn't order this again. Peached is a good reason to get to the airport a little early and have one last great Austin meal. Maybe skip the rice bowls, though. read more

Ordered: 2 tacos (bbq and pad thai), fries, and a bowl. Would highly recommend for the peach bbq sauce and bacon jam alone. The fries were also out of this world! The downside was that the tacos left much to be desired and felt unsatisfying in both taste and portion size. read more

This is the best choice here for airport food. The cauliflower tacos were delicious! Deep-fried cauliflower comes on a warm tortilla with ground peanuts, toasted coconut, arugula, watermelon radish, lime crema and a wedge of lime. The tacos are two for $10. It's hard to get vegetarian food at an airport at this place does the job and then some. read more

I come here every single time I go to the airport, which is more often than most people. They were one of the first vegan friendly restaurants after the remodel and I've been a fan since day one. Donovan is so nice every time. He even remembered my name and order. They are very careful about dietary restrictions and allergies so I never have to worry about being "dairied". I've been to the free stranding restaurant and it's a little bougie for my taste. This has a perfect vibe. I get the cauliflower bowl, half rice & arugula with vegan mayo. read more

Korean steak was good, but the brisket was pretty flavorless. The tortillas were store bought and not what I expected. Maybe the on on Burnet Rd is better, but I would skip the one at the airport. read more

Out of all the airport restaurants I keep coming back here bc it's healthy and fresh and I'm not stuck just getting lettuce and tomatoes for a salad. The staff is always super friendly and always makes sure I am happy with what they put in my bowl bc I don't do dairy or spicy. I got the cauliflower bowl, arugula, rice, lime, I added avocado and pickled onion and Mayo. They asked me if I wanted tofu sriracha and i was like hello no so glad they asked bc I didn't see it listed. It's weird the menu only offers Mayo as the dressing so that would be my recommendation to corporate. Some type of salsa would be the obvious choice right? There's always a table even during holiday rush and it's in a great food court type of area. If you're looking for non-meat options - 2 of the burger places have impossible burger options and taco deli always has their delicious freak'n vegan taco which is one of my all time favorites. Local WFM has their dips also. read more

While flying when I have skipped a meal due to last minute errands or packing I crave for something filling and tasty. The cauliflower bowl is so satisfying and bonus points for a great vegetarian option. I take a base of rice ( you could pick the salad instead). It feels like a much better choice compared to the junk I am capable of devouring. The only downside is the long queue to place your order. read more

These were some BOMB breakfast tacos. The Korean steak, egg and cheese taco was sooo flavorful. The pico on the brisket taco tasted super fresh. Tacos were about 4.25 each. Not too bad for airport food prices. read more

At the airport is a great option for real great food with even vegetarian options . Everything is fantastic except that scary rude bad manner and bitter older lady cooking and giving orders . Can't believe I am doing a review of airport food but these Tacos are so amazing I had to share!! On arrival to Austin I stopped in for the breakfast tacos. They were so delicious and only $4 per taco they are very filling. Started my vacation off right. Now I am heading back home and stopped by for the dinner tacos. We came here because we had wanted to go to their restaurant in Austin but didn't make it. We ordered the avocado toast--okay, the salmon toast--okay and the special taco (with sweet potato)--excellent. Great options at this airpot for food and I would recommend this! One time when I was 7 years old I thought it would be a good idea to put a piece of leftover brisket in some minute-made rice. I put it in the microwave and accidentally typed in 30 minutes instead of :30 seconds. I was 7 so needless to say, I wasn't paying attention and went back to watching Rugrats on Nickelodeon. 17 minutes later, I hear a miniature explosion in the kitchen. The look of terror on my face as I knew my mom was going to be super mad so in a frantic I ran to the kitchen. To my surprise, I literally nuked my meal. There it was...charred brisket with steaming singed rice. Anyways, I was hungry so I still ate it. Moral of the story is...The brisket and burnt rice that I ate that day still tastes better than what I ate at this location. My dog would have to take anti-depression pills if I fed him this stuff. Never eat here. read more

As far as airport food this place was amazing and super artisan. My reasoning for the low review is because I stated my allergy to avocado and I my distaste for red onion and received an abundance of both on my tacos. The avocado was buried under everything and if I hadn't spotted the bright green on the tacos i probably would have had more serious issues. While the tacos and the fries were yummy but I won't be going back when I come through this airport because of the fact that they put something im allergic to on my tacos. read more

Surprisingly fantastic food for airport food. The sweet potatoes cauli flower and avocado tacos were amazing. The service is slow and they seem to be a little understaffed when I went , but the food was excellent. The prices are not bad either. This is incorrect it is open and I just got two tacos from there. That being said, their food is generally pretty good. However, they are not patient and they do not take the time to listen to customers. I know they work in an airport and probably are used to people telling them to hurry (which I wasn't) but it's frustrating to be dismissed again and again. I would suggest you avoid this location and go elsewhere, such as hat creek or second kitchen-you'll get better service. read more

So it's always difficult to rate airport food on the same level as everything else just because of the logistics, complexity and staffing. While in Austin for an hour lay over needed to grab a bite before the 4.5 hour next leg. Decided to give The Peached Tortilla a try. I had the brisket tacos and Brussel sprouts with bacon jam. The brisket had a good flavor but you can totally tell you are getting airport food, not a multi hour smoked bbq. The Brussel Sprouts were very good with a great roast, Parmesan cheese and a very lite hint of the bacon jam.... could have been more bacon in my opinion. Overall not a bad option, would be curious to try their food in Austin and see if they can really develop the flavors. read more

Well, that other spot was CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS! Seeing my situation, I saw it as opportunity to try the options at Veracruz --- including the famous from Food Network, migas taco. I ordered 4 tacos: the migas, migas poblano, shrimp macha (!!), and the Dona Reyna tacos. All of these specific tacos were priced between $6 and $6.75 per taco, not bad in Austin, and not bad considering the quality of said tacos. As you can see from my order, I opted on the more "novel" choices and they did not disappoint; that said, I do HIGHLY recommend the two variations of the migas taco and the shrimp macha taco. Oh, the shrimp macha was so FIRE, the flavors were bold and smoky with a kiss of heat. The migas tacos were FULLY LOADED, and the scramble with the tortilla chips were flavorul. TIP: They will ask corn or flour --- do flour. Everything is handmade, but those corn tortillas fall apart with all the sauce. Flour = durable and flavorful. I had plans, but the Universe had other plans for me that were superior. Try Veracruz All Natural --- and if your limited on $$$, you can snag 3 EXCEPTIONAL LOADED TACOS for about $20, that you will not find anywhere else!
