    Brisket bowl with arugula
    Cilicia L.

Service was friendly, and food delivery was quick, which is perfect in an airport setting. The seating area is fun and open, and there is plenty of it. I ordered the brisket bowl with arugula as a base. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the peach bbq sauce paired perfectly with the brisket and the creamy apple slaw. The price wasn't any higher than I would expect to pay at a restaurant, and the portion was very generous.

The pickled daikon had a nice crunch and the pork belly was well flavored in the banh mi taco however, the taco was heavily drenched in sauce and left an oily residue. The Chinese bbq chicken taco had a generous slice of avocado was the entire taco was also drowning in sauce which made it way too salty. If I were to try it again, I'd definitely ask for sauce on the side.

Stopped here for a quick bite between flights. It was fresh, hot and tasty. I had the Brisket tacos. There was a ton of meat on them. I recommend stopping here.

Delicious, fresh, healthy food is always hard to find at an airport, and the Peached Tortilla delivered. My husband and I each ordered the Chinese chicken bowl - with half salad and half rice. It was a tad salty but very, very tasty. I took off a star because the staff wasn't able to answer a question about the dish and because they wanted a minimum of an 18% tip and there was NO service provided, as well as a credit card surcharge that was never mentioned in advance (and we didn't know about it until we saw the credit card receipt).

Let me tell you about a spot I've come to know, with 3 locations around town including this one on-the-go. I just tried for the first time and the BBQ Salad is a winner, baby! Especially loving the tangy taste of pickled cabbage and spicy addition of local Yellow Bird sauces. Thank you to Lee for making everything run smoothly, helping me take off in time!

Inside the airport chillin before we head out to our Air bnb. We didn't want to go out in the heat somewhere lugging our luggage and when we were here in February, uber rides were not super expensive so we didn't rent a car. We wandered around the airport which was nice because we weren't one of the people rushing to their flights ;) and we stopped by here for lunch! You order at the front, limited seats - makes sense you're at the airport and we got our food a few minutes later where we sat at a communal long table. We got the: * Korean Steak Bowl - arugula, avocado, tomatillo salsa, cotija, pickled red onions, fried shallots and served over jasmine rice or arugula with togarashi ranch dressing on the side $15.39 * Korean Steak Tacos - arugula, avocado, tomatillo salsa, cotija, pickled red onions, fried shallots 2 for $11 * Charred Brussels Sprouts - bacon jam, parmesan, parsley, lemon oil $10 | September 25, 2025 |

Wow great food and fast service! Brisket taco was so packed with a lot of meat and honestly the best brisket in the airport. Nice quick bite before boarding for my flight.

Cold fat on top was most of what was inside bahn mi.

I'm a regular at Cedar Park. Got some tacos for my flight. Bahn Mi was AWFUL - globs of COLD fat with next to no meat. I said something to the line cook with the dark hair, glasses and handlebar stache who took great offense to my asking them to remake it. He kindly explained to me what pork belly was as is I'm a moron. Thanks, bro. I know what it is and that's why I ordered it. I've even had it here before! He was just a jerk and said I guess I'll remake it. I told him not to bother. The Korean steak was like salty chipped beef. You're not on Top Chef. It was cold and cold fat is unpleasant to eat, period. It's not that serious but as a cook to argue that? You can really taste your lousy attitude in the food, though.

I arrived with some time to burn so I decided to walk the whole terminal and check out the various options. Lots of premade sandwiches and a few interesting spots. After enjoying many of ATX's amazing food trucks, I assumed I was in for a bit of a disappointment. The Korean taco ($11 for two) caught my eye during my peruse, and I decided to swing back and give it a try. It did not disappoint. The taco was stuffed with goodness, a great meat to veggie ratio. It was tender and super flavorful. I'm a big NomTaco fan and this was right up there in terms of flavor. I also got the Brussels sprouts ($10), mainly because I was craving them and I wasn't excited about $6 for fries. The serving size was HUGE, double what you'd get in a restaurant and the flavor was Suffice it to say that I took my time and ate every last bite. Perhaps the best I've had in recent memory. If you're in the AUS airport, skip all the others and head straight to The Peached Tortilla!

Huge bowl of Brussel sprouts and Korean beef rice bowl
    Mabel C.

Super solid for an airport quick service restaurant! It was close to the departing gate so we thought to grab some food during our layover. We got the Korean Bowl and Brussel sprouts and that was enough for two people! The Brussel sprouts was a very generous poriton, but a tad too salty for me. The bowl was pretty good, but thought the rice to meat portion was a bit imbalanced as there was way too much rice. But eating it with the Brussel sprout bowl worked out well! Food was called out quickly and service was fast and friendly! There are a few tables in front as well as additonal seating closer to the airline gates.

My go-to restaurant at the airport! I got the Korean steak tacos and omg, they were so good!! The amount of meat was very generous and it was seasoned to deliciousness. It seems healthy too with the addition of the arugula and pickled onions. Also, you can't beat the price of their tacos. 2 for $11 is amazing, hope they never raise the price! They've got to-go boxes, bags, utensils, and even sauce containers if you wish. Their line is always pretty short and the wait for the food is 5-10min. Plenty of tables near the restaurant.

Sixth Street's neon and noise are basically next door, the Capitol sits up the hill, and the whole area is packed with people, bars, and that classic Austin mix of polished downtown hustle and late-night chaos. Velvet Taco is pure counter-service: you walk right up, order at the register, and then grab a seat. There's plenty of seating, so even with a couple of kids in tow it was no problem finding a spot. The place leans hard into what can only be called white-people tacos--soft, sad flour tortillas that taste like they came straight out of a grocery-store package, loaded with every wild creation the kitchen can invent. Global mashups, brunch hybrids, burger impostors, the works. No one is pretending these are the real deal. I went for the chicken-and-waffles taco, which was actually built on a thin, real waffle instead of a tortilla. Surprisingly good--crispy, a little sweet, chicken holding its own. The burger taco tasted exactly like a cheeseburger that had wandered into a tortilla and decided to stay. We also tried the shrimp taco (fine), one daughter got the kids' chicken taco (perfectly kid-level), and the other ordered the chicken tikka (spicy, saucy, and very much in the "why is this on a tortilla?" category). Everything was okay. Comparable to Torchy's in that same creative-American-taco lane. If you're looking for a true Mexican taco, stay far away. But if you just want to play around with some decent flavors on a cheap flour store-bought tortilla while sitting in the middle of downtown Austin, this is your spot. Not my favorite. Glad I tried it. Won't be back.

I ordered 4 tacos: the migas, migas poblano, shrimp macha (!!), and the Dona Reyna tacos. All of these specific tacos were priced between $6 and $6.75 per taco, not bad in Austin, and not bad considering the quality of said tacos. As you can see from my order, I opted on the more "novel" choices and they did not disappoint; that said, I do HIGHLY recommend the two variations of the migas taco and the shrimp macha taco. Oh, the shrimp macha was so FIRE, the flavors were bold and smoky with a kiss of heat. The migas tacos were FULLY LOADED, and the scramble with the tortilla chips were flavorul.
