The penalty box - 16" pepperoni & cheese

Interesting pizza. Crust is very garlic heavy. Not sure if recommend this one, but glad I tried it.

Came in here for bite to eat and a few drinks after a rousing hour of ice bumper cars downstairs. We were a large group, of 11 people. Our waitress was great, she handled our size by pushing tables together and was even willing to split checks for us as requested. Despite the large order, all of our food came out at the same time give or take a minute or two and it was still hot. Impressive! Popular items ordered among our table included the Bradshaw wrap, the fried Mac and Cheese appetizer, and the smoked wings. I really liked the hockey theme in the place, the walls scream hockey with the decor and the menu items are cleverly named after hockey lingo and players names (ie The Perreault). Personally, my husband and I did a little sharing and split ten of the root beer bbq smoked wings, along with the fried Mac and cheese app and an order of fries (battered fries, the fresh!). The Mac and cheese bites boast about having six cheeses in them on the menu. Maybe I was starving, but I thought I could taste at least four of them, which ain't bad! They were served with this buffalo dipping sauce that was perfect for them. The wings were good, not as good as other smoked wings I've had, but good. The sauce was sweet and smoky, a little more root beer flavor would have been welcome! Overall we had a really good experience here. Prices were reasonable, service was great, and the food was good. We are likely to return after other bumper car experiences!

Great atmosphere at this little spot. Food has been decent the few visits I have enjoyed, and the staff are always friendly. Stop in to watch some local ice, or even enjoy your own depending on the day and time of your visit.

Good staff. Good food. Prices are good. Good selection of craft beer on tap and in bottles. There is a decent sized menu. They have specials during the week off foods. A happy hour for drinks every day as well. There are plenty of TVs for all the big games. They also offer a catering menu if you would like to have a party at the arena. Calzone is pretty good just wish it had ricotta in it. The grilled cheese is good and so is the new Mac and cheese bites. They recently updated their menu with some new items. They self large pizzas and half pizzas.

Across. Bar. Cool place right next door to 2 ice rinks... Perfect name and location

It is more reasonably priced than some of it's competitors, so it gets value points there. I feel like they would be good for a party because of their price and agreeable quality. I do feel like their chicken cordon blue pizza is a little bit better than everything else on their menu, I'd give that a 4. Service is the same, no one is particularly warm, but I also feel taken care of. Can you guess what I am going to say about the atmosphere?... also adequate. Walk don't run to Papa Leos and grab a slice if you need something without breaking the bank. If you want higher quality taste and a have a little more money, their competitor a block away would get my vote.

I was told that he doesn't know how to do refunds and to call back "another time" to talk to a different manager who knows how to process refunds. Sadly, that was a mistake. I called the next day and talked to Emma who was an absolute ball of sunshine (not really, she was super rude and did not care about my experience). I politely asked for a refund and she said she would remake the food for me. I told her I didn't want that because my experience the previous night was so awful that I didn't really want to eat it again. She told me I could come pick up the cash refund (I paid with a card) that day, and that day only. Sadly I was at work so I once again politely asked for a refund to my card, which is how I purchased the food. She told me she had to call the owners, then call me back. I was told my refund would be processed in 4 days. Well, she's a liar. It's been 3 weeks and I never got it, so I won't be going back here any longer. The food is garbage and the employees that gave me the runaround are terrible at their jobs. I wouldn't recommend that you eat here.

Our favorites are: villagio dip, French onion soup, chicken julienne salad, any pasta dish, subs for take-out, bbq ribs, and the Friday seafood specials. This is a restaurant we can call for take-out, got to on a random weeknight, or visit for a special occasion/we have guests in town. Their sauce is delicious and they always serve their homemade bread with meals. The shaker of Parmesan right on the table is a plus. Everyone is friendly and even on busy nights they keep attention to detail (refills, cleaning plates promptly). For take-out they typically go over your order quickly before you leave to make sure you have everything. The bathrooms are very clean (including changing table for baby!). The menus are also clean. The overall cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurants is always excellent.

We have dined in but that was years ago. So this review is strictly about their food and take out service. They have a separate entrance for those ordering takeout. More than 4-5 people waiting would make the space cramped. On certain days it's cramped around dinner time but it's worth it!! The main stay staff in the takeout area is Emma. She is so nice. Always a smile on her face and happiness in her voice. Great service with a smile. Now the food. We have 3 go to meals and as many go to deserts. They have a monday pasta special which we frequently enjoy. There 3 choices all at cost of $9.99 each. Good sized portions. 2 orders would comfortably feed 3. Add a meatball or sausage with sauce if you're a carnivore like me. Next we have their assorted sub. Quality meats on good bread with fresh lettuce tomato and onion. Finally there is our favorite entree, Chicken Capri. Two breaded chicken breasts over a bed of thin spaghetti in a lemon butter garlic sauce. Pair that with the complimentary bread and your choice of soup or salad and you are set!! One entree will definitely fill two bellies and, you will be full. They have a dessert display with individually packaged slices of a variety of cakes and pies. Our go to's are the homemade apple crumb pie, carrot cake, and their chocolate brownie. Mmmmm mmmm! If you're like me, be sure you have enough milk to enjoy these wonderful sweets! That's it. Village eatery is a great place for those nights you don't wanna cook yet, want a nice homemade meal.
