    MELTING POT with HASH BROWNS

How did I not find this place sooner?! After moving from the East Coast to Las Vegas, I've really missed the great diners back home, and this place checks all the boxes. The interior is charming, spotless, and very well maintained. The comfortable, spacious booths have classic 1950s vibes while still feeling modern and fresh. Our server, Jennifer Ann, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and took excellent care of us. You can tell she's a true professional who knows how to keep up with the fast-paced diner atmosphere. The value here is incredible. They have a great happy hour drink special, but even at full price, everything is extremely reasonable. It's not easy to find delicious meals for under $20 and drinks for under $10 these days. The menu is exactly what you want from a diner--extensive, with so many tempting options that it's hard to decide what to order. We came for breakfast and will definitely be back to try lunch, but we couldn't resist starting with the mozzarella sticks. The cold brew coffee was delicious, and the free refills were a nice bonus. The mozzarella sticks came out quickly, piping hot, and in a generous portion. The cheese pull did not disappoint! I ordered the Mother's Day special: filet and eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. While the steak was a bit overcooked, it was still tender, juicy, and had a great grilled flavor. I upgraded my toast to French toast, which was incredibly fluffy and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered an omelet that was loaded with meat and vegetables. He also got hotcakes on the side, topped with blueberries, strawberries, and cheesecake whipped cream. They were fluffy, decadent, and just as good as they sounded. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a true diner experience in Las Vegas, this place absolutely delivers!

Recently went for a second visit to gauge how the lunch menu was and, like my first visit for breakfast last year, found it was average. There is nothing out of the ordinary that makes this a step above other places, especially when considering the price and the atmosphere not conveying an actual diner. The service both times was top notch, so I would give service alone 5 stars. I doubt I would go back here based on overall value, but for some it may be a worthwhile experience if they want to try something new. I would recommend breakfast over lunch/dinner and, if you go with the latter, select a soup over the side salad if you decide to get a starter for your meal. Not an endorsement for the soup (hadn't tried), but the salad was one of the saddest I have had in awhile.

It's a nice diner atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. Had the thinnest grilled pork chops ever! They were tasty but not filling. Spouse enjoyed the chicken and waffles.

I have eaten at Norm's in Ca many times. I'm not sure if this is the same franchise or maybe a different owner because the order I received was not the same quality as the Norm's I am used to. I did an online order around 3pm on a Monday and picked up around 3:30. It was not crowded. I ordered the Hot Open Face Turkey Sandwich. What I got is what looks like scraps of cold turkey on cold bread. It look like the scraps you would have left over after eating a turkey. I did talk to the chef and he was apologetic and offered another meal so I appreciate that. Not sure I will be going back. Yes I should have checked before I left.

We went to Norms Las Vegas for the First time. Went there for a late night dinner I ordered bone in wings w/Korean bbq sauce, I liked the taste and the wings were crispy. I tried hubby's steak and it tasted good, and they cooked the steak well to our liking. And they make the best hash brown, crispy and delicious !! And pancakes weren't bad either. Waitress was a little busy but when needed she came to our table for assistance. Not too noisy night. I went to different Norms in Los Angeles 15 years ago and this location didn't feel like an LA franchise and of course the menu looks different. Plenty of parking outside.

I had never experienced Norms when living in Southern California years back and happened to be visiting the Walmart on W. Charleston here in Las Vegas, Nevada, had some time to kill and since it's close by, I figured, why not? This is a place that will be visited again soon, right after walking in the door, Evelyn the Hostess was polite, professional and so courteous it was refreshing to see someone in food service actually enjoying their job. Customer Service can really be a test of your people skills and patience. The wait time after sitting down for a server (Theresa Rose, I apologize if your name was spelled wrong) to bring me a menu was lighting fast and after informing her it was my first visit she explained the specials and gave me time to overlook the menu and was really hospitable. The option I chose was MORE than I expected. The choice today was chicken fettuccini (alfredo sauce) and along with that came a basic salad, soup (split pea) and their version of Texas Toast and a drink. Tip included it came to almost $30.00 USD which was fine, when treating myself I never complain about the price, work allows me to do this. I walked out of there with a full belly and in a happy mood. Thanks to the staff for making my first visit one that I enjoyed and one that makes me want to return in the not-too-distant future.

I visited recently after hearing several recommendations and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere; the space is beautiful and very clean. Our server, Kendra, was also fantastic; checked on us throughout our dinner. My friend had the Sliders and said they were very good. Having said that , the other dishes lack seasoning and had no flavor at all. I will definitely come back and give breakfast a try .

A truly great diner type dining experience. All the food we got was huge portions and tasty. I wish they sold shirts since my guys name is Norm.

Was looking for American breakfast away from the strip and we landed at this place, retro looking dinner, served food in big portions, delicious pancakes, reasonable prices and the service was excellent! Why didn't I find this place sooner, we haven't been to Norms in a long time and it's definitely new and improved. Will be back!

I've never lived in California , but I've heard of Norms. In the past 2 months I've tried them 3 times. First time I had the Special Full Rack of Ribs , 2nd time I went for Breakfast , and the last time late night for a Burger. I would say that breakfast was the best out of the 3 times I went. I like the decor and the design of the old style diner. Also all the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Here is my take on the food I had. 1st visit : Special Full Rack of Ribs with Fries , Coleslaw , and Arnold Palmer. The ribs tasted like a rib special , not very good but not bad either , the bbq sauce was not bad , the fries were good , the coleslaw was very plain like it needed some vinegar to give it a little kick. Coleslaw was nice and crisp , but just hardly any flavor. Arnold Palmer was spot on. 2nd Visit : Loaded Bacon and Cheese Scrambled Eggs with Pancakes with Strawberries and Whipped Cream. When I came the first time I saw a couple both eating a large plate of pancakes and strawberries and I said I'm coming back for those ! My combo the pancakes were smaller and came with a little strawberries and whipped creme , so I guess you have to order the big ones as the main not as a combo. The scramble was very good and a decent portion. It is 2 eggs with Bacon , Tomato , Green Onion , Jack and Cheddar Cheese with a side of Salsa. You get 2 pancakes and I paid extra for the strawberries and cream. It was very good and filling. I would recommend this and I will be coming back for the large plate of Strawberry Pancakes. 3rd Visit : 1/2 pound Double Burger with Tater Tots , $9.99 Special. I was so hoping for a good burger and this was not. It tasted like a Sysco Frozen Patty Cheap Restaurant Burger. If you want a good 24 Hour Diner Burger checkout IHOP. The Cowboy Burger is sooo good. I've heard Denny's is good too , but I haven't had one. I was really hungry because I hadn't eaten all day , so I still ate it , but I would never get a burger here again. I also got a Free Birthday dessert with the App. I got the Chocolate Cake and was told it comes from Cheesecake Factory. It was super rich and I ate half and took the rest home for the next day. So inconclusion I really would only come here for breakfast. Other items on the menu from posted pictures don't seem really appealing to me. But I would recommend coming here for breakfast and the employees are nice and pretty attentive.

This place was recommended to me. It did not disappoint. We started out with a Jamaica aqua Fresca, cotton candy lemonade and a hot chocolate for Nana. The service was friendly and they assistant with getting fresh eggs quickly I had the Gobble Bigger Better Breakfast. Very good and my eggs were over medium and perfectly executed. I had a strawberry cheesecake on the side. No talking was done for 3-4mins. Overall 9/10 My mom said her meal was a very good. Her eggs were not fresh and the cheese was hard so we asked for them to be done fresh. This place reminds me of dennys but upscale. And better food. Very homely very chill but you're gonna get something good no matter what you're in the mood for

This is a classic Norms, but souch better than the ones in SoCal. It is super clean, the service is excellent, and the food is yummy & affordable. A solid choice!

I would not go to this place for breakfast ever again. First time and the service is great and our server "Justice" was very nice and efficient. The problem is the food. I got the steak and eggs and the best way I can describe it is Dollar Tree Steak... Not that I have ever had it but it looked like it. The "sunny side up" eggs where over cooked on the whites. The hashbrowns are tasteless. I don't see myself trying the lunch/dinner menu just from this experience.

Sparrow & Wolf is a restaurant that I have always wanted to go too but since I usually stay on the strip I usually end up eating on the strip. At Sparrow & Wolf I feel like we really got our moneys worth compared to going on the strip. A meal like this on the strip would have easily cost $250 - $300 per person. We were started off with a seafood tower which had lobster, oysters, shrimp, and a charcuterie /cheese selection on the bottom . My son is a chef and has very high standards when it comes to food. He has dined at exceptional restaurants, including several in Italy, so he doesn't hand out compliments lightly. Once again, the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome. Tucker, Celine, and our hostess (my apologies for forgetting her name) were all absolutely wonderful and provided outstanding hospitality from beginning to end. The food was exceptional. My wife ordered the branzino, and it was absolutely phenomenal. My son ordered one of the pasta dishes, and he was genuinely amazed by the quality, flavor, and execution. He had previously considered Nora's to be one of the better Italian restaurants, but after this meal, he felt Esther's Kitchen was on another level. Coming from someone who has traveled extensively throughout Italy and appreciates authentic Italian cuisine, that says a great deal. I ordered my favorite gem salad with the incredible anchovy Caesar dressing, and once again, it was beyond outstanding. And the sourdough bread... what can I say? I'm a sucker for great sourdough, and Esther's never disappoints. If you're a sourdough lover, their selection of sourdough pizzas is also fantastic. The only suggestion I would offer is regarding the Gorgonzola and sausage pizza. The pizza itself was excellent, but I found the Gorgonzola to be a bit overpowering and it masked some of the other wonderful flavors. That's simply a matter of personal preference. Thank you to Tucker, Anna, Celine, Danielle, and the entire Esther's Kitchen team for consistently providing exceptional food and warm hospitality. We always leave impressed, and we're already looking forward to coming back again this Friday.

I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. Upon walking in during lunch, the bar was packed and was reminiscent of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Bar staff promptly greeted us and let us know we could seat ourselves in the dining area at a table of our choice. During our short wait for menus and our server, we scoped out the beer menu and enjoyed the music selection. It was a bit loud, but the music was good so the volume was not an issue. I was stoked to see a solid lunch special selection. We immediately ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, a Blonde Ale for my husband, and a Lambic style apricot beer for me. For food, we decided on the buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries, the chicken bahn mi with the house made chips, and a slice of mango pomelo cheesecake for the road. Food and service were phenomenal. Tasty, perfect temperature, perfectly crispy, juicy and tender chicken, and the homemade cheesecake was arguably the best I have found in Vegas since moving here in 2018. Five stars hands down.

The flavor makes it one of my favorite drinks. The ambience is amazing this place has such amazing decor, a great personality, and feels comfortable and inviting. The food here is amazing and never disappoins, I havent had too much on the menu since I don't eat pork or Shellfish but the items I have gotten like the beer batter pretzels and the hot fried chicken sandwich haven't disappointed. The quality is amazing and you can definitely tell the chefs in the back put in tons of effort and love on the food. I sit at the bar and the bartenders are always good, I haven't caught their names but I have come on different occasions and none of them have ever given me bad service. They're all so inviting and kind and always make sure I have everything I need. I tend to overtip of leave a 22-30% tip cause they deserve it for their amazing work. Dare I say its been a Masterclass experience coming here? Yes, weather you come here for late night drinks and happy hour or their lunch you won't be disappointed! Thank you 595 for the Masterclass experience!

So I recommend the fireside lounge NOT the Peppermill restaurant…read more The fireside lounge is SO OLD VEGAS! and I love it. There's a fireplace in the center lots of cozy booths and drinks are kits! You can order apps and drinks but no desserts. This is my one complaint. I used to love coming in for a dessert & late night cap but now they have made a rule no desserts because (i think) they reupholstered the couches so don't v want to get sticky syrup on it. Oh well. Still a cool vibe. It's just i don't drink anymore so probably won't be coming as much. Service is average. The cocktail servers are nice but don't expect perfect service.

The garbage was overflowing. There was tp all over the floor. Who knows what the men's bathroom looked like! That's why they got 4 stars instead of 5. Now the positive. Our server Kate was beyond amazing. She was sweet, personable, knowledgeable, and professional - not to mention adorable. The portions were insane. I got the western fruit plate. I expected a small plate of fruit and a slice of banana bread. I received a platter of fruit and a whole loaf of banana bread. The decor was pretty. I loved the colors. The seats were comfortable. The music was the best, primarily 80s music. It could have been turned up just a tiny bit more. The host was friendly and professional as people came in, but didn't say goodbye to people as they were leaving. Two gentlemen even walked by and said goodbye and thank you and he was too preoccupied to notice. This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was honestly expecting a dive with lousy food & service from a 24 hour restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. I did inform a manager about the condition of the bathroom and she immediately got someone on it. The whole menu is available for 24 hours, including breakfast (except oatmeal).

This review is based solely on the burger Wow! Just, wow…read more I have been to many, MANY places to get a good burger, but this may be one of the absolute best burgers I've had. When you go out, most places - not all, but most - you need to say medium rare if you want medium, rare if you want medium rare, and... well, that's about it, because if you order anything from medium well to well done than you just shouldn't be eating burgers. But this place, I asked for medium rare, feeling like a medium that day, and it came out the most perfect rare I have ever had! The char on the outside of this obviously hand made patty, while still being heated through all the delicious pink inside! Oh man! I don't think I need to say much more. The wife had the chicken strips and fries, which she said were "perfectly portioned at three strips." Service was as good as any place should be. And prices weren't bad at all.

Everything was delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed every dish we tried. My husband's favorite was the burger--it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I especially loved the salmon, which was cooked beautifully, and the brown rice was surprisingly so flavorful. Paired with the avocado, it made for such a satisfying combination. My toddler's favorite was the fettuccine alfredo--she couldn't get enough of it! One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the chef-owner. He was incredibly kind, and you can truly tell how much care and love he puts into his food. That passion comes through in every dish, making the whole experience feel thoughtful and genuine. Whether you're meeting up with friends, enjoying a family meal, or simply looking for a delicious local spot, I highly recommend Salt & Spoon. We'll definitely be back!

We've been here 3-4 times and can't believe I've never left a review!!…read more So for starters, they have a great happy hour, trick is it's in the bar seating area only, they do have a couple high tops set in the back should you choose to imbibe. The dining area and outdoor patio give a rustic country kitchen feel which suits their fresh seasonal ingredient filled menu. We have honestly never had a bad meal here. The food tends to disappear before we get to take pictures, sorry that's lacking. I've read the service here isn't good, but we've either been lucky or just have come on good days because we haven't had any issues. The only issue that is kind of a nonissue is that it gets busy fast, of the 3-4 times we've eaten here we've probably come 10 times and there was a loooong wait so we decided to go elsewhere. If you're in the area and want something delectable for lunch or dinner, I'd say yes stop in and enjoy yourself !

My family and I have visited Honey Salt several times over the years with our son and friends. When…read morethey first opened, we genuinely enjoyed coming here. The restaurant was always busy, there were often long waits, and we understood why--it offered a very enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, our last couple of visits have been very disappointing, especially during my son's recent visit from Southern California. The food simply was not prepared to the standard we had experienced in the past, and the overall experience fell well below our expectations. After that visit, one of the managers, who is no longer with the restaurant, invited us to come back so they could make things right. We appreciated the gesture and accepted the invitation. However, when we returned, we were greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as the General Manager. Rather than listening and showing empathy, his first response was that he needed to "go check" what had happened. That immediately gave us the impression that our concerns were being questioned instead of acknowledged. One of the issues during our previous visit involved being charged for soda water from the fountain, something that many restaurants provide without charge. Instead of resolving the matter in a customer-focused way, there was resistance. Even after being invited back to make up for our previous experience, we ended up paying the full bill without any effort to honor the goodwill that had been promised. To me, great restaurants are built on more than just food. They are built on hospitality, accountability, and creating a customer-obsessed culture where guests feel valued and respected. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I've also noticed the restaurant doesn't seem to have the same level of activity it once did. I don't know the reasons, but from my perspective, changes in management and a lack of attention to the customer experience may be contributing factors. I truly wish Honey Salt the very best because we once enjoyed dining here. However, based on our recent experiences, I can't recommend it. Others may have a different experience, and I sincerely hope they do, but for me, first impressions--and how a business responds when something goes wrong--leave a lasting impression.
