We are in town visiting with a rather large group and the staff here were so accommodating! We did call ahead, but they are very busy, so it was really wonderful they were able to seat our whole group. The place is very nice inside, not too big, but not too small. We ordered the lobster pizza, crispy Brussels, a hamburger, cheese pizza, strawberry salad... everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My husband and I shared the lobster pizza and crispy Brussels and they were both so good!

This felt like a very local place where folks go for a beer and food. The vibe was lo-key but comfy. The servers were nice and when I said I was gluten free, one verified what I could choose from. I had the blackened haddock with mashed potatoes and a salad. My family had a burger & fries as well as the steak tips. It was decent though it took over an hour after ordering to get our food.

Let's begin with the ambiance! Schoodic peninsula is gorgeous, we rented hybrid electric bikes and ended at the Pickled wrinkle, which was suggested to us from a local. The restaurant is tucked away from the main road and has plenty of seating inside and out. Nice little bar area decorated very nautical and cute. The star of the show was the blueberry margarita - WOW! That alone was 5 stars. The food was decent, we got a salad and some chicken tenders and then the Brussels sprouts. As you walk in, they note that it might take extra time to make your food because it's a small kitchen made to order but we were pleasantly surprised at how efficient they were! Our waitress was kind and helpful. If we were locals to this area definitely would be back!

This place was beyond great! By far one of my favorite places for food in the Birch Habor and Winter Harbor area. They were very busy close to 7 on a Friday. The service was good despite that, and they even had live country music. I got the lobster pizza and wild Maine fiddleheads. I wish I had had time to come back. I loved this place.

One of a kind establishment. Something that you really should try. We were here 8 years ago and are back since we were nearby. So the wrinkles are carnivorous sea snails. They are pickled. The story goes that years ago as the fishermen were starving during a bad fishing season..., the locals survived on pickled wrinkles. This is likely the only place on the planet that serves this unique delicacy. Don't miss the chance to try it. The crab cakes are delicious too. The place is rustic so the ambiance is pure Maine. Folks are friendly and helpful. One of the most unique places in Maine. The owner is Jesse and a nice guy. Tell him the Hobbs from SC sent you.

Just happened to end up in the parking lot of the Picked Wrinkle, so we decided to go in and eat. What a great choice! The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal! We love when we can go to a place to eat and talk to the locals and learn about the area. Leslie had some great recommendations for appetizers and meals and we greatly appreciated the great service and hospitality! We plan on going back during our stay.

We stopped in hoping to get some seafood based on past yelp reviews and pictures. Their menu was definitely more Pub/American style as they mainly had pizza and burgers. They had a crab roll special and a crab cake special. We got the crab cakes. They were delicious but barely a small amount and was $27. We ended up down the road at Bunkers afterwards to actually get seafood and it was MUCH cheaper and very good. The local draft beer was good and they had a great selection . I would not go back if I came through town again unless I was looking for bar type food.

Everything was good. Margaritas and pizza were great. Pickled wrinkle is a must try and then never again.

Amazing food. Amazing service. I'd drive back to eat here. Great selection of cider which is a bonus in my books. I had the black bean burger with the house salad. The blueberry balsamic was the bomb! I would go back for that alone. My son loved the crab cake sandwich. My BF loved his salad as well. Yes, we had a wrinkle. Yes, I would have more. Go there now!

Just ate here for lunch and it was a delightful surprise. The servers were very friendly and don't mind providing recommendations if asked. Since it's almost Halloween, they had fun Halloween decor inside and outside. They had a cute candy station by the front door and cobwebs, skeletons, and purple lights hanging inside. I ordered the Wisconsin cheese turds as an app owns they were perfectly fried and cheesy. Don't sleep on these curds. For my entree, I got the Nautical burger with fries. It came with 100% natural Maine beef, sharp cheddar, bbq sauce ( My fave) , and crispy bacon. It was a delicious bbq burger and did not disappoint. I would definitely order this again. My friend got the black and blue salad which was also delicious and highly recommended. They have a full bar so you can pick your alcoholic beverage of choice. I ordered a blueberry margarita which was refreshing and not overly sweet like other flavored margaritas I've had in the past. My friend got the blue Cosmo and she gave it an 8 out of 10. All in all, a good spot for lunch and a drink with Downeast local vibes.

After I paid, I realized that they had not only charged me full price, they had tacked on not one, but two surcharges for the veggies. Nearly ten bucks for a grilled cheese with American cheese and a few veggies? Plus nearly 8 bucks for the onion rings. When I very politely said that I wasn't happy about the "misunderstanding" about the substitution, she said that it was OKAY to substitute the vegetables, she had never said that it would be the same PRICE. Seriously? They have the right to charge what they want, but the food was nowhere near good enough to pay that much. Not even close. Not going back.

It was 3:30 so we shopped around again and then got in line 15 minutes early. We were second, everyone formed a line. We thought it must have a reputation if people are waiting for the doors to open What a good call. They have lots of choices besides pizza, salads, drinks and a fun, clean dinning place with a jute box. Not sure if it was really playing music but it was good music. A lot of Italian dishes they serve but we really wanted to try their pizza. We had a cheese pizza and a Caesar salad. Wow! Thin crust at its best. Very tasty and satisfying! Yup I see why people wait in line for doors to open . It's a must when visiting Bar Harbor. The first day we got here my daughter saw it and wanted to go. I said let's try a different place instead of pizza. So glad we came on our last day. It was one of the best pizza I've had and will remember! Prices are so reasonable, restaurant is very clean. You order, pay, get a buzzer, and you wait at a table or booth and they bring food to you. It's great you are not waiting to pay so you can leave when done. Just note the bathrooms in back and you go up a ramp and a few steps. I will be back when in Bar Harbor.

Cashier was super friendly and nice and willing to answer our questions. Pizzas were fresh out of the oven and came relatively fast. We ordered a medium specialty pizza (14 in) and a small custom one (10in) but the medium I swear looked bigger than 14in. - Combination pizza: 4/5 green peppers were a little more raw than I would've liked, but plenty of toppings - Custom (pepperoni, basil, hot honey): 4/5 basil was overdone so they were more black than green, but overall flavor wasn't affected.
