    Medium Pepperoni pie
    Kristin A.

After watching the sunset from Cadillac mountain, I called in a pick-up order on our way down the mountain and back to Bar Harbor which ended up being ready in about 20 minutes, so not long after we got there and parked. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and two fountain sodas. The place was still busy around 9 pm. The employee was friendly and hooked us with paper plates and packets of parm cheese & red pepper which was great since I'm not sure we would have found plates in our hotel at that time. I have to say, it was a quality, regular pie. Lots of large pieces of pepperoni on every slice, cooked well, good sauce, good crust. We were very satisfied with our pie from here and would come back!

Haven't had pizza in foreveerrrrrrrr (currently in a cut for the gym) but had to break it while on a my trip out here and I am so glad I did ! The pizza here was amazing ! This is a two story restaurant suitable for families or solo dining , pretty much you have to sit yourself down and order at the register and they bring the food out to you . It gets so packed so it seems you have to scout a bit for your table but thankfully right when we reached upstairs someone left and we were able to snag a table pretty quickly! Food was fresh and service was nice :)

Rosalies is a must if you are in Bar Harbor. You can dine in or takeout just go to the counter and put in your order. We found a table quick on a Friday night. Placed our order and was eating delicious pizza in about 20 minutes. The place has great vibes and a wurlitzer jukebox!

We forgot to get a picture before we started.

This was the best pizza in Bar Harbor! We did takeout and had a picnic on the waterfront lawn! It was a perfect date night and perfect meal!

We showed up on a Saturday at 5 o'clock end of August and got right in at Annex which is the same menu and attached. Waiters were helpful and kind, amazing people! Live music was going on at 7 but we left right before, awesome vibes doors to the outside open so it was basically an open air concept since it was a beautiful day. Clam chowder: super delicious and passed the spoon test! (I like my chowders thick so a spoon should float on top) Bangin Shrimp: seasoning and sauce were bangin! Great stuff and the buttery grilled flamed pita added a beautiful touch Cadillac fries: crispy fries with melty cheese, hot sauce, bbq sauce, chipotle mayo and toooed with bacon. We inhaled these. Mac + rac: fall off the bone rips and the Mac was killer. Mixed in with street corn added a great change up and all went so well together. Larger shells cooked perfectly and super cheesy, this was a great dish. Highly recommend, wish I could have tried the Blueberry Pie because that looks insane, was way too full after crushing the other dishes and washed down with a blueberry beer and an extra dirty martini!

I think a trip to the grocery store would have been more filling then getting anything on this menu. Our waitress didn't even tell us her name, she didn't ask how we were. She didn't even smile or give any warmth. Made us feel like she was working in a prison camp. The food was so sub par.. like abysmally bad.. compared to other places?! This is super forgettable! The only thing memorable about it was how horrible our experience was. My wife's margarita was basically all mix. My Maine lunch ipa beer was as expensive as buying a six pack. And oh, you want to spend over $30 on an entree? Prepare to be left with a half empty stomach and then expect to gorge yourself on a load of chips that I guess they try and compensate for their lack of originality and tastefulness. Gosh I'm spending too much time on this review when it deserves no more of my energy. Let alone money. Do yourself a favor and try a different spot. Don't come here. Ps. Gave it 2 instead of 1 star because the atmosphere and location are nice. SKIP!

The Precipice is absolutely delicious, whether you order it hot or iced. The fresh-baked popovers were another highlight served piping hot from the oven with blueberry jam and butter. They were light, fluffy, and the perfect complement to the coffee. The service was quick, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location is ideal for grabbing a coffee and a bite before exploring the shops around town. I highly recommend stopping here if you're visiting Bar Harbor. It's a must visit for coffee lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a classic Maine treat!

They're absolutely delicious when still warm and fresh out of the oven and they bake them pretty much all day, so they're just about always fresh. One of my favorite ways to enjoy them over the years was to get the maple butter and blueberry jam and mix the two. The flavors of the butter, maple and blueberry all complimented the savory flavor of the popover. However, this year I was disappointed to see that they no longer are offering the maple butter, even for an upcharge. Please bring this back, it really took the popovers to another level! Maybe whip it into thawed butter instead of hand mixing it to make it easier? The whipped butter is easier to dip in and spread anyway. The new pre-packaged / mass produced butter packs take away from the appeal of a freshly-made popover. Sometimes in the morning it can be a little crowded in here with people waiting for their coffee / drinks to be made by a counter not far from where you place your order, so if you're walking in and haven't ordered yet then check if the people standing around are just waiting on coffee or waiting to order. It would be a nice improvement to see some separation (maybe with some ropes or floor markings) to make it more clear who is in line to order and who is waiting for their beverage to be made. It's worth noting it's takeout only and there's nowhere inside to sit, but there are some benches just outside on the sidewalk where you can have your popover and coffee.

Off the beaten tourist path and open year round, PP lives up to the reviews and hype. We made a mistake our first night in Bar Harbor going to a tourist trap and getting a rubbery lobster roll and sad chowder. I did a bit of research online and found Peekytoe and was SO glad for it. While you don't get a water view, but a cute walk down the main drag, it is WELL worth the excursion AND HOW. My husband said his Crabby Patty was the best crab cake sandwich he ever had. I agreed in as I had the cake as an app. I also got a Halibut dish with pickled fiddleheads (a local green I might liken to okra for lack of other reference) and blistered tomatoes. It was moist, well cooked fish, amazing sides with phenomenal heightening elements. We also enjoyed our cocktails immensely. GO if you are a foodie and don't want a lame wannabe roll with some kids grilled cheese sides, DO this spot. SO well worth it. PS to manament - I know you do a brunch. MAKE SURE YOU DO A CRABCAKE BENEDICT. Your crab cakes are divine and with a slight seared crunch. Ideal. You can even do a lemon-fiddlehead or blistered tomato HOLLANDAISE. I'd be IN IN as I am sure most people would. The vinegary elements from the fiddleheads to (I think) my husband's pickled onion atop his crabby patty MADE the CRABCAKES THE STAR.
