Great pizza spot near UT! The service was quick and friendly, plenty of indoor seating and a few parking spaces outside. The food was delicious, I got a build your own pizza. There's tons of good toppings and the price wasn't too bad. Would highly recommend!

Similar concept to chipotle as in your order your food or can custom through a line and by the time you pay your food is ready. We ordered the tribune and it was delicious! Fan of the thin crust and the small was enough for my husband and I to split. We ended up coming in randomly when they had trivia. We played and that enhanced our experience. Pizza, pitcher of beer and trivia... can't beat it!

We stopped by the Pizza Press to have the Valentines day special since it was one of the few pizza parlors in town offering heart shaped pizzas :) The Valentines special included two heart shaped pizzas of choice, warm cookie with vanilla ice cream and two drinks. We had The Times (chicken) and The Chronicle (veggie). The ingredients were fresh, dough was thin and crispy with the perfect sauces drizzled on top. The line moved slightly slowly as it was lunch time and it looked like the constant flurry of customers were all UT students. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed with the long lines but were trying to be nice nonetheless. It took a while for our order to be prepared. The food was great but the restaurant looked quite dated, especially with rusty vents on the ceiling, right above the prep station of the pizza. There's are a few parking spots available right outside the restaurant entrance.

The good: I love the ambiance this place has! Being around the communication building, they have a lot of journalism related memorabilia and food named after newspapers, which I think is cool. The root beer on tap is always worth to have. The bad: since they bake your pizzas in front of you, it can take a while to get the food, which also means that there's a pretty long line during lunch or dinner. Also, sometimes the pizza is good, but sometimes, like this time around, a bit salty.

I went to pizza press last night with my friend and got a build your own. I got a pizza with pepperoni, pineapple, mushrooms, olives, and mushrooms and it was pretty good and flavorful. I know that my pizza sounds disgusting but don't hate on it unless you try it. The service was also tuff as I saw my boy there and he was an absolute chiller. Would highly recommend this place but not for a date as it didn't go so well for me. Furthermore I almost choked and died while eating my pizza so make sure to take small bites and enjoy your pizza !

Great food! Line moves pretty fast, and sometimes they have trivia nights too! I highly recommend their cinnamon pizza as well if you're in the mood for a dessert!

Pizza was decent. They have a few options to choose from and different crusts as well as you can build your own pizza. Cauliflower crust is good. Service was okay, had a lady cashier she was rude and seemed like she hated her job and everyone there. Overall ambiance is boring and bland. but if you want to order a late night pizza online and pick it up i'd say it's fairly decent.

Solid joint by the U. Usually drop by but did not have the chance to rate it. Move in day at UT and Ryan was manning the joint by himself. What a champ as it got busier he handled his business and kept the flow moving. They do have cauliflower crust as well. Fast good pizza with beer on tap. Shout out to Ryan, good food and great service.

This place has been one of my favorite pizza spots in West Campus. The pizza is customizable to your liking or you can choose from preset options as well. I chose to do the PYO (personalize your own) pizza. There are a lot of topping choices to choose from to really make it your own. The pizza does come in a more thin crust style so it's perfect if that's your preferred style. The place is open and has various booths for you sit at and televisions to watch from. There are also rocking chairs outside and parking, which is nice if you prefer sitting outside to enjoy your food. The service is fairly good. The pizza artists were very patient with my friend as it was his first time eating here and he was browsing through all the possible toppings he could choose from.

The pizza is nice and is not very expensive. We got two of the signature pizzas and they both turned out to be good. My only complaint is that the pizza is thin crust and is not filling enough, I wish they make the size slightly larger even if it means it costs more.

I've gotten multiple people hooked on this place. The pizza is so good and you can customize it as much as you want. The prices have gone up a lot and is pretty pricey for a personal pizza. The decorations are really cool , but almost every time I go the tables are pretty dirty.

Great spot to go with friends and enjoy superb pizza! Similar to subway means of ordering. I'm a big fan of adding as much as I can on top to get my money's worth! I knocked it one star based on the price of around $15 (including tip)! TIP: I'd recommend getting a side of ranch at the end of the line! I'd also recommend eating outside! The ambience is nice!

    Ashley C.

yummy pizza in west campus, close of ut students. like the build your own pizza as you can put unlimited toppings/meats/cheese (limited to one serving per topping). worth the price if you get serval toppings but not a lot of topping choices. definitely fills your pizza craving. fast service. casual ambiance.

Nice size, pork and beef (I think), tasty red sauce. Quite Italian. Good value. The good, but: Chopped salad. Good size, a lot of meat, balsamic was tasty, good cheese, but not a legit chopped salad. Real chopped salad- go to Tony Cs. Pizza - Tasted fine, but too doughy for legit NY style pizza (and, I grew up in NY and get there 2-3x a year). Skimpy on the sausage, but excellent flavor/tasty. Would I order from here again. Probably not, as the non-pizza options are limited and the pizza was just okay.

My daughter ordered the stuffed crust pizza, which is filled with ricotta cheese. It was her first time trying ricotta, and unfortunately, it wasn't her favorite. I built my own pizza with Italian sausage, onions, and fresh basil, and I highly recommend adding the garlic butter, it was the perfect finishing touch and added so much flavor. Overall, the pizza was good, and the friendly service made the experience even better. They have an indoor area where you can grab drinks but just pull up to the window and get what you want. What I really like about it is buying by the slice is about the same as if you would buy a whole pie, so it makes it easy to mix and match and try a bunch of uniquely topped pies. The slices are huge, so 2 is easily plenty. Arguably you can be fine with one. I highly recommend the cacio e pepe, a playful take on the classic Roman pasta, but you can think of it as a white pie with some tingling black pepper. Sausage pizza is also great, though a bit on the wetter side with all the honey. Plain pepperoni really highlights the expert simplicity of a classic pie - the crust really shines and the pepperoni is top tier. Cheese is fine. Stracciatella is kinda like a margherita slice with a thick dollop of fresh dairy, but it adds a bit too much water to the pie to stay crisp. Corn pizza was the summer special and while it was interestingly spicy and sweet from the corn, would say it was far and away the least favorite from our crew. Make sure you grab some hot honey and ranch for the crust! Also don't sleep on the caesar salad. It is very well dressed and has a nice combo of crunch from the shallots and freshness from the lettuce. You won't notice the miso but it adds umami punch (instead of the anchovies that normally are used presuambly).
