Food is amazing no matter what you get and the servers are extremely friendly. My personal favorite is the Texas Skillet. Last Saturday, my mom and I came here for lunch. We were able to sit outside under the tent. Boy was it windy out! But, the service and food were really good. Drink: raspberry ice tea Entree: Gyro. I will never go back again! Met a friend for breakfast and the food was okay. The waiter wasn't the friendliest but not rude. Hospitality is not on the menu! We were there for approximately an hour and a half when the hostess/cashier came to us and said "okay ladies, is there anything else we can get you?" I said no I think we're fine, and he mumbled something giving us the impression that he wanted us to leave. I looked around and saw that there were a couple of empty tables. I said to him wow, I guess you want us to pay our bill and leave then... He said that people are waiting at the door. When we got to the register by the door there was not one person waiting. I've been to The Point several times. I've loved it in the past. I'm not crazy about "we won't seat you until the your driver finds a parking spot and is standing before me" policy. But what happened today is unacceptable. We were sitting at the end of our meal, drinking coffee and we were asked to leave because we had gone beyond the time limit for a table. We were told it's posted up front. I don't care! It's a restaurant. If I can't eat my meal leisurely and hang out and chat with my guests afterwards; without being asked to leave, then I am not ever going to return to that restaurant - in this case The Point. That was the last and final time that I will have a meal at this restaurant. You have lost a consistent customer. This close to the holidays, you should know that people are gathering and talking, maybe celebrating with loved ones that they don't get to see very often. The white chocolate latte was just as delicious as Starbucks. I ordered the apple pancake, which was the biggest pancake I have ever had. The pancake was rich with cinnamon, freshly cooked apple slices and butter. It had a rich custard flavor to it. The pancake was so filling that I had to take half of it home. I tried the turkey sausages on the side while waiting. The turkey sausages were juicy and yummy. We tried the Point for the first time yesterday for breakfast/lunch (11am). First, the California omelet is one of the best omelets I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, delicious ingredients. I think it's my first time having garlic in my omelet and it won't be my last. Next, the service was absolutely fabulous- never had an empty coffee cup and our server was delightful! Finally, my daughter just got her retainer and this was our first outing with it. She had taken it out and set it on the table and then forgot it. I thought for sure with Covid and it looking like a piece of plastic that would have thrown it out. When i called this morning they had saved it!!!! Unbelievable! We ate here for the first time while visiting the Great wolf lodge for the weekend. The food and the menu are both excellent. I had corned beef hash and this was the first time it wasn't the hash from the can. It was so good. We went on a busy Sunday morning and they got us in so quickly and our food came out right away. I mean look your food's pretty good it's it's consistently above average but your prices are kind of ridiculous. No offense but crepes with blueberries that you got maybe two bucks into that and you're charging 13 bucks. That's kind of ridiculous. Blueberries are inexpensive and crepes cups virtually maybe 50 cents to make, I spent my whole life in the restaurant business I would love to come to your place at least a couple days a week but every time we come it's like 80 or 100 bucks for four of us to have breakfast and two of us don't drink coffee or orange juice or even milk. Eggs are up a little bit right now but bacon sausage potatoes all that stuff is very reasonably priced. Breakfast is always been a good profit margin but don't get ridiculous. Just my opinion but I'm telling you why we only come there once every 3 months as opposed to twice a week. Wow, what an amazing meal we had here! Seriously can't say enough great things about this place. My in-laws said we had to check out this restaurant because every time they passed there was a line out the door, and boy are we glad we did! Once our party was seated, our server, Alfredo, took excellent care of us. The food was incredible- fresh, good portions and prompt. Not to mention, they have a great menu with lots of choices. Might sound silly, but even the fruit cups we ordered were fresh and well portioned compared to most other restaurants who usually charge $3 for a few cubes of cantaloupe. It was creative in that they put one large slice of ham across the two muffins which was a great presentation and absolutely tasted great as well. I want to preface this review by saying that our server, Dawn, gets a 5 star rating. she was delightful, helpful, and attentive. We have been going to many, many breakfast places for years and getting eggs Benedict because (spoilers) it's delicious. However, an issue we consistently always have is the English muffin not being toasted enough. We've even had this issue at The Pointe before (hence the minus one star rating). We specifically, directly plead with servers to borderline burn the English muffin, hoping maybe some place will actually come close to making it crispy like it's supposed to be instead of a soggy mess. And until this morning, we haven't gotten that from any restaurant. Dawn, thank you. We begged her for crispy English muffins and she said she would make it happen. We've heard that and had our poor little breakfast hearts broken many times before, but kudos to Dawn, she did in fact make it happen. This is my second time here in 2 weekends. The German and apple pancakes are worth the 30 minute wait. Don't order one for yourself and expect to finish it. They are so mouthwatering, but HUGE! The fresh squeezed orange juice is ah-maxing. The chipotle gravy with the chicken and waffles is delicious! The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. We came here for Sunday Brunch at around 10:30AM. The restaurant was pretty full. Wait times are usually about 15-20mins long. They will not seat you until all parties in your group are at the restaurant. Although the staff are super busy, most are friendly and service is prompt. We ordered the belgium waffle with strawberries and french toast. Both were equally yummy especially drenched with syrup, powered sugar and whipped cream! My preference would be at WildBerry but they are usually super packed so The Point is a good alternative. read more
