My last interaction with him, he reviewed my value card ($25 for $30) purchase history and commented that I hadn't washed my car frequently enough, noting that my last visit was five months prior. He then informed me that my car was "too dirty" for their service and insisted I should wash it monthly. In all my years of visiting car washes, I've never been told my car was too dirty to clean. This unwelcoming attitude has left me deeply disappointed, and I won't be returning, despite having unused credit on my saver card.

It didn't get washed as much as I thought it would, no matter how much I dried it, there was always water spots, the tires were turning brown, I was always wiping the bugs off the windshield. I am back, signed up for the top package. Now I realize how much better the car looks after I run it through the WashU wash. No more water spots, no more dead bug residue on the windshield just a clean shiny car. The car now again feels smooth to the touch, like a fresh waxed car. I guess I learned my lesson.

They're a fully-automated wash with a ton of options and reasonable prices. A top of the line wash sets you back about $15, with a free return wash within 5 days. There are a bunch of other freebies, too, like a bug-scrub pre-treat, vacuums, and floor mat cleaning machine. My only complaint is that the drying portion of the wash is only so-so, but they even give ya free towels to dry off with (you have to return them before you leave - you didn't want to keep that manky old towel, anyway, did ya?)

Fortunately I carry a chamois with me and I typically do a once-over with it at other places, but here I have to ring it out a couple times. Staff can be hit-or-miss I once tip the guy a buck, as they typically will do a little extra brush work. The guy just stuck it in his pants and stood there. I typically get the $3 wash here and if it's real dirty I get the $5 one. If it wasn't so convenient to home I would never come here.
