Where you definitely want to come to get your beer supplies. You can also get your Sodastream canisters refilled here. They will actually refill them rather than give you pre-done ones (which never seem to have the full capacity as when new). And it's cheaper. So happy to have found this place! PS. The sweetest golden retriever will not bother you unless you want some doggy love and he'll let you pet him and do tricks for you. There are lower cost systems out there, but after hours and hours of research, Spike came out on top for my capacity and requirements. Their turnkey systems only require a single 240V circuit, so saves quite a bit on electrician installation expense. The fact that I have no threaded connections and everything is either a sanitary weld or a TC-clamp connection makes it pretty close to fool-proof and leak-proof, and easy to disassemble and reassemble if needed. System came in exactly the time frame they promised, and their support was quick, efficient, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Had my first brew day this weekend and so far so good. Since the equipment is all new to me it's going to be a learning curve to really get efficient at the steps, but between the guide and the videos they provide it was fun to get it all set up, and even more fun to get the system running. My only critique is that the set-up video is for the Spike and not the Spike+ system, several steps that don't match up exactly to the system I purchased, but pretty easy to figure out with the great help of their staff as well. But parking is paid parking on the street, with spots hard to find. Once the parking situation is resolved, things are great. The vibes inside was awesome - very open, with lots of seating. There seems to be tons of seating options, and outdoor seating as well for when the days are warmer. And for a brewery, the most important thing? The beer, of course! And it was good. There was a good variety of beers, seltzers and draft cocktails. I landed on enjoying an Oktoberfest beer and it was super drinkable. Although I was there alone, I appreciated that there weren't a ton of TVs. There's also a back patio that would be awesome for the warmer weather. This place is definitely a really unique brewery given that its in a dive bar. You can see the beer tanks right from the bar/tables. They have small batch beers to choose from, and if you finish the batch, your name goes on the board on their wall! For the food, the burgers were great and the fries were even better! They're homemade and I would go back just for a basket of those fries. Their cheese curds were also delicious. We ordered a pickled egg because if that's listed on the menu we had to try one. We loved the staff. Very down to earth and fun to talk to. We even got complimentary key lime pie shots, which they make in house, and they were so good we ordered another round.
