Beef Sandwich

While in Temecula touring wedding venues, we had lunch at The Restaurant at Ponte and were amazed by the fresh ingredients and great dishes we had. This is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner while out having wine in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is outdoors but in a covered area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our favorites were the salads, the Caesar was so good and the crispy parm was a great topping on each bite! The calamari was one of the best calamari dishes I have ever had, the jalapeño lime aioli was to die for. The burger was cooked perfectly and topped with a delicious smoked bacon and crispy onions. Everything we got was delicious, I can't wait to try more of their food.

I've had this restaurant bookmarked for a while now but not living in the area makes it hard to visit. But we finally went back to Temecula and had the chance to go to Ponte for a birthday dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a pretty outdoor patio which looks into the vineyards.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately the night we went it was raining so the patio was covered. Service was great, staff was very friendly and attentive. Our waitress was kind enough to walk me through the different wines they offer. I ordered the ciopinno which had shrimp, scallops, clams and fish inside. Overall it was good but the curry overpowered the flavor. The truffle pizza was good but not enough truffle flavor. I think the bolognese was the best dish out of everything. It was hearty and hit the spot.

The service here is phenomenal from the moment you arrive until you leave. The staff really makes you feel taken care of the entire time. The food was great, and the drinks were just as good. My wife especially loved this place for the food--we're not huge wine tasting people, but we still enjoyed having a nice glass of wine with our meal. I honestly forgot the names of the dishes we ordered, but I did leave some pictures. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views are beautiful too, which makes the whole experience even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Birthday surprise for Nana
Audry P.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]From the outdoor seating to the customer service, this place was beyond amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came to celebrate my Nana's 91st birthday, and our server was beyond excellent when it came to helping us celebrate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views, stunning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food, mouthwatering.. beautifully presented, and absolutely wonderful. Every dish was perfect. Highly recommend reservations as this place books up fast. But it is so very worth the time, and the money.

The Restaurant at Ponte, 35053 Rancho California Rd, Temecula, CA92591. The service and food here are always superb. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Set against a serene backdrop with fantastic view of the vineyard, the ambiance is very nice whether you're just looking for a place to catch up with family/friends or enjoy a glass of wine with food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ~ Seabass (pan seared seabass with baby carrot, risotto and pea puree) ~ Wine Country Salad with Salmon.

Front to back: pulled beef dip sandwich with jus & French fries, cheese bread loaf with scallion dipping oil, cheeseburger & French fries.

As wine club members, we always plan to have lunch here when we pick up our wine. We have never been disappointed! The menu changes seasonally, and the food is always delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you have a purse, they bring a basket for you to put it in by your table so it doesn't sit on the ground.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Club members also get an amuse bouche to start the meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and he manager stopped by every table to be sure that we were happy. I won't feature any item, because we've never had anything that wasn't delicious. I do have to mention the bread and scallion oil that appears first, however, it's definitely a favorite! Come to taste the wine, but be sure to have a meal here!

So many delicious options! Megan our waitress was wonderful! Hubby had burger, I can Salomon cakes. The wine flights going by our table looked great. Another table had pizza and salads. Huge servings.

Pretty venue. First time back in years. My friend and I both got the lamb. I wish the lamb was more herb-crusted and the blackberry and beverino reduction was a little richer in flavor, but overall, it was a good dish. The desserts were absolutely delicious (pot de creme and creme brulee). Service with Teresa D. was five stars!

Caesar and lamb

Everything was delicious. Food we had the lamb dish, Caesar salad with steak and some refreshing drinks. Service was delightful (Megan) was kind and very knowledgeable of the menu. So attentive and made of our celebration something special. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating is gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Hi there peeps!!! Ok so... this time I visit the restaurant at Pointe. So far the service has been 10/10. I order to start Lake Harvest wine and fried calamari. The fried calamari was perfect. Fried to perfection. Crispy and tender at the same time. A difficult task hard to mastered when you are frying seafood. Teresa my server was fenomenal!! Omg!! She is the best!! She knows when to approach you and ask the right questions. I will say she is 100/10. I have dined at other places and she is amazing. Recommendation: ask for the house aoli with siracha and salt and pepper on the side. Is worth it. I know they can't cater to specific community, but this is your savior if you like spicy and well seasoned aoli. The entree was pan seared sea bass. It was perfectly done and well seasoned. Slightly crust outside, flaky and moist inside. The fish was laying on bed of pan seared carrots, creamy risotto with puree peas. The puree peas were light in texture and flavorful. It contrasted with the risotto and fish. The dessert was matcha cheesecake with coffee. The matcha cheesecake originally comes with some coconut flakes , but they made a substitution since I can't have it. This was a recommendation from my server. Overall food was excellent and service was outstanding.

Autumn day menu, the restaurant at Ponte
Kent C.

Took some friends visiting the Temecula wine country to lunch at Ponte winery. Besides the Beautiful garden areas, they have an excellent restaurant with quality food at reasonable prices. In the pictures below, I included the autumn day menu for the content of each dish as well as the four entrées we ordered. Everyone graded them as an A for presentation, taste, value. I had the burger with sweet potato fries, and it was an A+. The service was excellent and responsive. The patio dining allowed us to enjoy a perfect day in the Temecula wine District. This property has plenty of parking as well as a hotel to stay at. Worth the drive. Enjoy.

My husband and I love coming to the Ponte restaurant in the fall to celebrate our anniversary. The weather in November is perfect for outdoor patio dining and being surrounded by the beautiful scenic views. I love the menu options at this restaurant. Personally, the Ponte restaurant has been my favorite of all in the Temecula wine country. The service and food are exceptional which keeps us coming back here to celebrate special occasions.

Upon arrival, the property checked one of my requirement boxes: paved parking. I cannot tolerate parking in dirt that removes the shine on my tires and rims. After some confusion, I finally arrived at the correct tasting room for non-members and began my tasting with assistance from Eric, a fine young gentleman who offered to guide me through my journey. He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same. The property is very large, and well-maintained, and also hosts a distillery, somewhat hidden in the form of a speakeasy of sorts. Didn't partake, but intend to return in the future to sample. Our plan was to relax, make memories, have good food and wine, and experience the beauty of Temecula wine country. Miramonte was our first vineyard and we had dinner there on the patio. We got a table that didn't have a view and instead it was in the middle of the patio dining area. There were so many other guests around us and it was loud. At least it was shaded and I think there were misters...? So that made things enjoyable in terms of the heat. We ordered their pitcher of White Sangria (which was somewhere around $42-$48). It said there was going to be peach in the batch with other fruit. The result was frozen berries in a very water downed pitcher if white wine and ice. I hate to say this, but I have had better White Sangria at The Olive Garden. The one I make at home was 100 x's better. For food we ordered the Charcuterie Board, which was huge! That was a very impressive display of cured meats and cheeses. Totally loved the pickled vegetables! We also ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Oaxacan Pepperoni & Honey Flatbread, and Truffle Garlic Fries (I think they said "truffle," but I could ne wrong because all I tasted was garlic and parm). The Mushrooms were delicious! I would order that dish again, but then again I am a lover of mushrooms. At the end, I was surprised to not get any Bach party recognition. Most of the places we went to, my girls and I got perks for the celebration. I mean the hostess didn't even wish a "Congratulations." At least she was nice to get a group shot with the beautiful sunset. I am usual a 5-star giver and I feel bad giving this place a 2-star. Luckily some of the food was actually good, so thank goodness a 3-star is the final result. I mean Miramonte did set our bar very low for the rest of the wineries thus making the other ones we went to on our trip were supreme -- which were Akash and Ponte. Both Akash and Ponte were aaaaaaamazing!
